About: I’ve cared for dogs for 10 yrs and have owned a cattle dog mix for 6! I’ve fostered and pet sat dogs, cats, and kittens throughout that time. I have experience giving medication, basic training, and am detail oriented when it comes to any special instructions. About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

Ashley and her family truly seem to enjoy caring for dogs and it’s a great feeling to know that they are so well cared for while we are gone. About: I’ve owned cats my whole life. My current cat is a sassy senior tortie named Queen. I'm well versed in reading body language through ears and tail. I have lots of experience with senior cats with health conditions; managing pet prescriptions and special diets. I'm comfortable administering medications if needed. In the past, I’ve taken care of my parent's diabetic asthmatic cat by giving her insulin injections daily as well as using an inhaler on her. Animal rescue is my biggest passion! When I was growing up, my mother fostered many cats and kittens for the SPCA. That is where my love of cats began; helping mom take care of the fosters as a young child. About: Ever since I was a small child, neighbors and friends have entrusted me to check in on their beloved animals and ensure they are fed, played with, and cleaned up after. As an adult who normally teaches full time, I have house sit for colleagues who have children and take them on vacation while I look after their dogs and their parents' chickens across the street. I don't work summers or during school breaks and I don't have kids so I have a lot of flexibility and free time when school is not in session. I'm great with animals On breaks and weekends, I can make pet care my sole focus. No children or other pressing obligations means that I can give all my attention to your furry friends. I come prepared to enrich your pets time and can read a book while they sleep. My husband can handle my household chores so that I don't have to leave your house if that is what the job entails. The only real routine barrier is my teaching job but that is only during week days in the 10 month school year not accounting for planned holidays, Summer or weeks off. I can prepare food, take on walks, clean litter boxes, give medicine, regularly keep water bowls cleaned and filled, play with and ensure that all animals are where they are supposed to be when I turn in for the night or leave the house. I will defer to client's needs or requests as well for anything out of the ordinary.

We believe that a tired pet is a well behaved pet, so enrichment is a big deal to us. Your pup will enjoy nature walks where they can sniff their heart out, and mentally stimulating toys when the weather is too cold for walks. My husband, Jack, works from home most days so outside breaks can be as frequent as your dog needs. I work full time 4 days/week and my husband, Jack, works from home to provide potty breaks, walks, and other enrichment as frequently as your pet needs. I make sure that all of your pets’ needs are met from the first moment they come into home, just like I would with my own dog, Brisco. Text/email updates are given throughout the stay, at least once per day. Our spacious backyard and separate zones of the house are large enough for everyone to have quiet time if they like. Pups will be monitored outside at all times. We will be sure to monitor the environment of exotic pets & aquatic species carefully.

Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all my life. In the past 8 years I have lived in CO during that time, I have been through pain and loss. Shortly after moving our dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and then our cat with Heart/Kidney disease. I have experience with caring for sick animals (dogs and cats) - giving medication, subcutaneous fluids, frequent bathroom breaks/issues, also first hand experience with separation anxiety I have currently moved back to my home in the Finger Lakes of New York! About: My whole life I have been into only 1 thing! And that is animals. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at a local horse rescue everyday after school and by the age of 18 I was volunteering at my local SPCA feeding and walking dogs. I went to college at SUNY Cobleskill for 4yrs and graduated with honors and received my bachelors degree in Animal Science. I studied many different training techniques with both horses and small animals, I even learned how to clicker train a chicken! ;) I’ve taken classes in care, management, training, behavior issues and many more. After graduation I became a riding instructor and horse trainer at a near by stable. I now run my own business as an equine dentist which leaves me with tons of extra time as I usually only schedule trips 1-2x a week! I currently have 4 horses, 2 cats, 1 really friendly German Shepherds, small Maltese, a ball python, and a Quaker Parrot named Echo. I have my own business! As an equine dentist I normally can only visit farms when owners are home so that means most weekend days are spent doing that while during the weekdays I’m totally free! Yard behind the house for the dogs, it is fenced off. We own a 3 bedroom so plenty of room for more animals! I am right in town so I can take dogs for walks or to the park. I share my house with my bf and his 10yr old sister who is my foster daughter. Also a huge animal person!
About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.

I truly believe every animal deserves to be treated with patience, kindness, and proper care. I currently have two dogs of my own, one rescue and one I’ve raised since a puppy. They are a huge part of my life, and caring for them has taught me the importance of trust, consistency, and understanding each animal’s unique needs and personality. As a pet caregiver, my goal is to provide the same level of love, attention, and quality care that I would want for my own pets. I always strive to create a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for every animal I interact with, while giving pet parents peace of mind knowing their pets are in caring and reliable hands. I currently work nights as a registered nurse, which gives me daytime availability throughout the week to provide attentive and reliable pet care. I am available daily during daytime hours for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pets to ensure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Due to my work schedule and commute, I am generally unavailable after 5 PM and overnight, but I work 3 days per week which allows me 4 days to provide care. The days that I work each week do vary, so feel free to contact me for specifics. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and fully present during the time I spend caring for each pet. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is to trust someone caring for your pets and being in your home, so I strive to provide dependable, respectful, and attentive care at all times. Because I have a dog at home who is not comfortable around other dogs, I currently focus on dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting in clients’ homes rather than boarding. I believe many pets are most comfortable in their own familiar environment, where they can maintain their normal routine and feel secure while their owners are away. I always take the time to learn each pet’s individual needs, personality, routines, and any safety concerns to ensure they receive personalized care. About: I have always lived with pets! :) I grew up with dogs Ella and Koikkie when I was little, and loved walking and playing with them. In college I couldn't have a dog, but I did get my first cat, Oliver. He was more or less feral when we found him but with lots of love and food, he became a lap cat with a happy home on a farm. Two years ago I moved to Ithaca, and have two 3-year old Siberian cats, Nadja and Moose. They need a lot of exercise and play which includes taking them out on leashes to walk around the block. I also frequently cat sit for my friends who have a mix of young and old cats. I'm currently working part-time 5 days a week. I am available for weekend pet-sitting and short visits during the week. I work until 3pm on weekdays, and am available at most times on the weekend. I am more than happy to stay in your home with your pet, and would love to give them treats and attention. I love spending time with pets and can send you daily photos at their cutest moments :)
About: I have had Pets my entire life and have taken care of them since I can remember. I take care of family friends Dogs and Cats. I’ve house sitter for them and taken their dogs for walks for years. I love treating each pet with the same level of love they would get from their owners since they aren’t there. About: Living with family dogs since the age of 5 I have completely fallen in love. My favorite job has been at a doggy daycare when I get to interact and watch over all the well being of the dogs. I also have a month of pet sitting experience with the full care package. I am currently looking for a job in Ithaca after a long winter adventure in Vermont. About: I’ve always been a dog person all my life. I just have a way with dogs. Patience is the best way to try your animals. Family members rely on me to feed their animals. Currently working at a grocery store so my hours are always different. When I finish working though I head straight over to where I need to go. Sometimes I head over before I have to work too. I take the animals outside when they need to go to the bathroom. While I’m out there I watch carefully over them. I comfort and pay attention to them. I talk to them like they are humans.
About: Hi! My name is Emery and I am a recent college grad. I've had a wide variety of pets that I've taken care of in the 7 years of experience I have. I have taken care of dogs for about 4 years and have experience feeding, walking, and watching dogs. I also really enjoy taking dogs on hikes! I also already have extra litter boxes. Our cats here have experience meeting other cats and dogs. They interact well with them. As for dogs I am willing to dedicate as much time needed to make sure they adjust well and feel safe with me. I love to play with dogs and give them belly rubs.

About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

I had to find a last minute sitter over the holiday weekend, which, without Georgia's responsiveness and flexibility, would have been next to impossible. When I dropped my dog off, I could tell immediately that she was going to have an amazing time. Georgia sent lots of updates while I was away, which was much appreciated. Normally when I pick up my dog after a couple of days away, she's overjoyed to go back home, but this time, she actually seemed bummed to be leaving her new bff Wilma!”
