All animals, ages, health conditions, care needs, and energy levels welcome! Personal experience with highly energetic and reactive dogs. Principle philosophies: - All animals treated as equal companions to humans - Quirks and additional care needs are opportunities to demonstrate love and to learn - I am a guest in your pet/companion’s home and their comfort comes first - Care and play grounded in positive affirmation For over two years I have been caring for a three year-old, highly energetic Australian cattle dog, Diogy, who has shaped my approach to animal companionship. Diogy is a rescue who was passed around between four homes during his first year before coming to my partner and me. As a result, we have been showing him immense love and working with him (and multiple wonderful trainers) to successfully manage his reactivity and anxiety around strangers and new environments. As his companion, I have learned to be patient, careful, and attentive as well as ready to go at a moments notice when he wants to play, run around, and herd (which is all the time)!

Given my dog Diogy's reactivity, anxiety, and high energy, I practice patience and attentiveness in my day-to-day interactions and play with him. More specifically, with the assistance of two great obedience and behavioral trainers, I have learned to bond and communicate with him through strictly positive reinforcement. This training has also included bonding and training with him in multiple environments including in the home, at parks, on trails, and in highly public spaces (such as college campuses and stores). My time with him has reinforced my belief that all dogs are good girls and boys and deserve as much love as we can give them. It is my promise to you and your dog(s), then, that I will treat and care for your pets as much as I do for mine.

We are at ease when Lulu stays with Noah and Emily. We know she is having a great time and well loved and cared for. It is 100% peace of mind.

Schedule
I am a graduate student with a very open and flexible schedule, both weekdays and weekends. Currently, I can be available for same-day bookings and at most times in the morning, evening, and night.
