Her home is perfect for dogs with plenty of indoor & outdoor space, hiking trails and a creek to splash in on hot summer days. Our dogs are pretty easy but very attached to us, and one of them needs daily meds. Destiny clearly made them comfortable with her immediately, and they looked incredibly happy in all of the photos she sent daily. She took great care of Louie. She very clearly cares a lot of about pets and showed Louie a lot of love and attention. Her setting is ideal, located in the country surrounded by farmland. She has no pets of her own and only cares for one pet at a time. She sent us a lot of photos, almost every day, and told us how Louie was doing. We would definitely leave Louie with her again.”

About: Hi, I’m Katie, and I’ve been taking care of dogs my whole life. My family has 6 dogs total, from a Chihuahua to Pit Bulls, so I’m quite familiar with taking care of different sizes, ages, and breeds. I also have experience taking care of senior dogs with special needs, as I used to own a blind and deaf dog. I’m happy to pet sit overnight or just take your dog on a walk! I’m definitely a homebody, so your pet can have my undivided attention. It would genuinely make me so happy to take care of your dog, please feel free to reach out! I’m currently working part-time and taking classes remotely, so I’m almost always home. My work days are on the weekends, but on weekdays I am completely free! While I work weekends, I work close enough to home to be able to check-in during my breaks. I do not have any pets at home, so any pets can expect my undivided attention. I do not have a yard, but I am happy to take dogs for long walks around campus!
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that since I was eight years old I have been taking care of cats, dogs, reptiles, and rodents. I have 25 rescue cats back home in California in which I work with rescues for free vaccines and neutering and spaying. Lots of the cats I take care of have special needs or require administering medication. I also have experience with dogs with special needs such as being spoonfed. I work part-time over the winter and will spend most days indoors studying for LSAT. I go for walks on breaks and usually give attention to my pets and others between breaks or as needed! My house has spare rooms where I can house pets if they are not comfortable with my cats! My cats can remain on third floor if needed with free roam acccess around house for cats and for dogs it varies on a case by case basis.

About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.
