Alex made her feel right at home, put her at ease, and was able to catch her signs of a dizzy episode and medicated her exactly how we would have at home. Alex is a great host and will gladly send lots of pictures and updates that put any worries one might have aside. After we brought our old gal home she slept the day away from all the exploring and fun she had at Alex’s.”

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life—from my childhood golden retriever, to my first mini poodle in college, and now my French bulldog puppy. Having a Frenchie has taught me how to care for dogs with sensitive stomachs, skin allergies, and special needs. I cook fresh, balanced meals with real protein and veggies for every meal, and I treat every pup like my own—gentle, patient, and a little spoiled. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or home-cooked meals, I make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and completely at home. I’m an MBA student at Cornell and have classes about three times a week from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 1pm. My boyfriend is home during the day until I return in the afternoon, so there’s always someone available to care for and walk the pups. We’re both huge dog lovers and spend most weekends at home since I usually have assignments to work on — which means plenty of time for cuddles, walks, and playtime with your furry family member. Your pup’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I have a French bulldog with sensitive skin and allergies, so I’m extremely careful about hygiene, food, and playtime routines. I also have a bit of OCD when it comes to cleaning — my home is spotless, sanitized daily, and always pet-safe. Every pup has their own cozy, comfortable space to relax, and I can easily follow any feeding or medication instructions. About: I've taken care of pets since I was a child-- growing up with a large breed and small dog and two cats-- I've always loved animals. I have a large breed dog named Chewbacca and an adult indoor cat named Chase. Both are friendly with other animals, easy going, and playful. I work from home most days so I'm very available! I spend my weekends at the Cleveland Animal Protective League walking and training all different types of dogs, so I have experience with any type of dog you could think of! About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

About: I’ve worked at a service dog nonprofit for the past decade and I’ve been a pet owner my whole life! Currently, we have a 4-year old Australian Cattle Dog mix and a 2-year old tabby cat. I know how stressful it can be leaving your fur babies when going on vacation/work but I’m happy to help! I will care for your pets with the same love and attention that I give my own. I have also completed training by the Fear Free Shelter Program. Conveniently, I work remotely (full time) so I am always at home to keep an eye on and care for your fur baby. On weekends, I leave the home briefly to run errands. I have a small fenced yard. Our two pets can provide company to your visiting fur baby. I am also available for daily walks. Ideally, your visiting pet will be crated at night while sleeping and if I ever have to leave the home briefly.

Walking dogs helps get my steps in and I especially love the longer walks. As a student, my Mondays are busy, but all other days are mostly free except for the late mornings. I keep alarms set at home for when to feed my pets so everyone knows when it’s breakfast and dinner time! Three times a day I will take my dog out for 30-minute to an hour long walk. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old! My entire live I have had dogs all around me and apart of my family. As I got older I learned more about the importance of animal care. I have pet sit my families dogs many times as well as friends and neighbors. I not only pet sit but walk and run dogs! About: I have had Pets my entire life and have taken care of them since I can remember. I take care of family friends Dogs and Cats. About: I've taken care of pets since I was a child-- growing up with a large breed and small dog and two cats-- I've always loved animals. I have a large breed dog named Chewbacca and an adult indoor cat named Chase. Both are friendly with other animals, easy going, and playful. I work from home most days so I'm very available! About: I happily work with dogs of all sizes and personalities! Dogs with lots of energy, low energy, separation anxiety, or even a bite history are all welcome to work with me, I just have to do housesitting for special cases. I attained purple level (highest level) dog walker at the Tompkins County SPCA. I am trained in dog handling, dog training, and I am very thorough. I have been volunteering at the shelter since January 2019, and I have 10 years of cat care experience. During my dog sitting, I have been able to train dogs different commands including but not limited to heel, sit, down, turn, paw, and roll over. She was very calm and sweet with our lab Lily. We later left Lily for a long weekend which turned into a very cold, heavy snow few days! We ended up having our flight canceled due to the storm and Beth was so great about keeping her an extra day relieving us of a lot of worry.
