About: I specialize in caring for small/medium breed dogs in a peaceful, country home just five minutes outside of Ithaca. With experience ranging from young dogs to seniors, I provide a calm, structured environment where your pet can feel safe and at ease. What sets me apart is my exclusive focus on smaller breeds. As the owner of two small dogs myself (a Chihuahua-Terrier mix and a Pomeranian), I understand their specific needs and personalities. Because I do not take larger dogs, you can rest assured that your small pup will be in a setting designed just for them—without the stress of being around bigger pets. My home is ideal for dogs who do well in a quieter setting and enjoy consistent, attentive care. Whether your dog is older and needs a gentler pace, or simply enjoys a low-key environment, I’m here to provide a safe and loving stay. I work full-time as a remote software engineer, which means I’m home throughout the day and able to provide consistent supervision and companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to take regular breaks for walks, playtime, and one-on-one attention—ensuring your small dog is never left alone for long stretches and always feels cared for. Because I’m home-based and live in a quiet, country setting just outside of Ithaca, I can maintain a calm, structured environment that’s perfect for small breeds who thrive with routine and a peaceful atmosphere. I offer exclusive pet sitting services at my home, ensuring a safe and loving environment for your pet. With a large yard and the companionship of my own two playful dogs—a Chihuahua mix and a Pomeranian —your pet will enjoy playtime, walks, and personalized care. I prioritize their comfort, security, and individual needs, providing a home-away-from-home experience.

“Rossy did an amazing job caring for our puppy! She was very communicative, responsive and flexible with schedule changes. Rossy provided multiple photos and detailed information about each visit with our puppy. Our puppy's joyful expressions in the photos were testament to Rossy's loving care and made us feel assured our puppy was in good hands. Thank you, Rossy!”

“Rachel is amazing! She helped us out in a pinch and went above and beyond—visiting our dog Bastien three days in a row while we were tied up with long days away from home. Bastien adores her, and it’s easy to see why! Not only did she walk, feed, and snuggle him, but she even laid with him during a thunderstorm to keep him calm. I trust Rachel implicitly and feel so grateful to have her in our lives. She’s wonderful - truly the kind of sitter every pet parent hopes for. Thank you, Rachel!”

“It has been such a pleasure getting to know Kait before her upcoming week stay with our dogs! Our dogs seem to love her already and she’s so friendly, courteous, dependable, positive, and knowledgeable. So grateful to have found her!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for 15+ years, from playful Lab puppies to senior rescues needing medication and mobility help. Growing up on a small hobby farm, I learned early how to read animal body language and keep routines calm and safe. Today I share life with my own Labrador, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your fur‑kid with someone new. I offer daily photo updates, walks, and custom playtimes—whether that’s a pond‑side swim, a gentle neighborhood stroll, or indoor enrichment games on rainy days. I’m comfortable with crate training, basic obedience, and administering oral or topical meds. Your pet’s happiness and your peace of mind are my top priorities. I work for a school, so I’m out at 2:30 every day and have summers off. I also have scheduled school breaks, which gives me extra flexibility. I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I’ll always follow your instructions closely—whether it’s locking up, feeding routines, giving medications, or keeping your dog on their usual walking route. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and happy to send photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe and happy while you’re away.

About: I've had dogs for as long as I can remember, both large and small. I've been routinely walking a 100 pound great Pyrenees since I was a pre teen, so I know how to handle a large barking dog (and I'm not even bothered by barking any more!). I also have a lot of energy, so I'm happy to play as much as possible with any sort of dog. I'm also currently missing my own two dogs at home, so you can be sure that your dogs would get plenty of love and attention if I'm taking care of them. I'm a college student so my schedule is fairly open, aside from when I have class. I'm also available consistently on the weekends, so it wouldn't be an issue to perform frequent check ins. I'm happy to answer any specific inquiries about my weekly availability as well. I am comfortable using whatever mode of security you want, and will be sure to supervise your pets carefully if we're outside. I'm comfortable giving medicine to animals, as I've had some experience with my own cat (who had diabetes) and other foster kittens who needed eye drops, or medication given through pipettes.

About: I have had 3 puppies in the past 3 years and one elderly, sickly dog that I help take care of, and watch a family friend's dogs, by walking and feeding them whenever they need me to as they take multiple trips throughout the year. Very flexible as watching pets is something I do on a daily basis with all 8 of my dogs requiring attention. My schedule also fits the needs of future clients and what special needs they may insist on. I would go directly to my clients home's in order to keep their dogs in a safe and comfortable environment to walk, feed and watch them as needed.

“Elizabeth was fantastic with our dogs! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly loves animals. We returned from our trip and found our animals were happy and well cared for. Elizabeth went above and beyond and made sure our dogs had comfort during fireworks which typically cause them to have high anxiety. I’ll definitely book with them again!”

“Mary was amazing! She was professional, accommodating, and thorough. She was patient and thoughtful about addressing each my pets’ needs. Mary was clearly experienced in dealing with dogs with shy/fearful personalities and did really well with my dog (a rescue) who can be challenging to dog-sit. She was incredibly kind and treated my pets as if they were her own. I felt so comfortable leaving my pets in her care, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. I couldn’t have been happier with the pet care service that Mary provided! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!”

“Anthony was nothing short of incredible! He last minute accepted my request after a previous sitter cancelled. He was friendly, quick to communicate, and super accommodating of my requests and the short notice request. He sent photos of my baby and gave her so much attention (she’s very needy). Would definitely hire him again in the future :)”

“Venita was so amazing! She did a drop in and my pup was sick. She cleaned up his crate and played with him. She communicated well throughout everything. She even stayed later when asked, which I appreciated immensely! She sent photos of my pup as well, which was great. Will definitely book her again.”

“Sara did a great job taking care of my senior cats while I was away. One of my cats, Cleo, requires daily oral medications and I can tell you Cleo doesn't make it easy, but Sara was able to do it. I could really tell she cared about getting to know the cats and making sure they were comfortable. I will be booking with her again in the future!”

“Kelly did a great job checking in on our girl. She kept us updated on her walks and play time and Ripley was all smiles when we got home. We will definitely book with Kelly in the future.”

“Dawn is reliable, thoughtful and caring. We entrusted her with the care of our cat for 10 days, and everything was perfect. We would ask for her service again without hesitation. I highly recommend her, your pet can'tbe in better hands!”

“Amazing. Did a wonderful job with our baby kittens. Give them a lot of attention and made sure to keep us updated on their status. Would hire again.”

“Rebooked with Lauren! She’s so amazing with my cat, Meekhas. Let’s your pet come to her when they’re ready. Lauren is also reliable and communicative as a sitter! Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve loved animals all my life. I have a very vivid memory of fishing with my father. We caught a fish the size of a silver dollar. Thrilled to throw it back my father stopped me and proceeded to cut the fish up for bait. I cried for so long that day. Looking back it’s pretty funny that it stayed with me. Presently that experience reverberates through my life in small cries during commercials featuring animals doing sweet/sad things, and big sobs in the theater when one is lost on screen. I’m an owner of 2 cats. Both are very sweet. One is more curious and the other more apprehensive (he hides when we have other animal visitors). I’ve raised 3 dogs and have fostered once before. I’ve worked at a Veterinary Clinic back in Texas and have experience with giving oral medication as well as subcutaneous injections. I give 2 shots to my own twice daily so I’m very familiar with it. I go to school full-time and I only live 7 minutes away from school! My classes during the week are usually 3 hours long with at least 3 hours in-between classes. Friday through Sunday my attention is all to your fur baby. I have a small open yard with a leash anchor so your pet can enjoy time outside with a sense of freedom and supervision during outside time. There are trails close to my house for walking and our small neighborhood has a 30 mph speed limit. If your pet is crate trained I can accommodate a crate in a large well lit kitchen or an equally well lit cozy upstairs bedroom. Either way under supervision your pet has full access to my couch and home to be as comfortable as they need. If they require smaller spaces my bedroom (cats not allowed upstairs) is free to roam as well. No human food is easily accessible in the house due to my own pets’ dietary issues. I’m happy to communicate most times of the day through text or app for updates on your loved one.
