About: Animals have been central to my life from an early age, and few things bring me more peace and joy than caring for the beloved pets of others—domestic and exotic alike. For over a decade I’ve provided quality care for cats and dogs of all sizes and ages in both my home and those of my clients’. Ten years ago, I helped launch the STAY WILD Rehabilitation Center in Trumansburg, NY, where I gained extensive hands-on experience rescuing and rehabilitating sick or injured domestic and farm animals—including dogs, cats, horses, and sheep—as well as local wildlife. Through this work, I developed advanced skills in administering medications of all kinds, wound care and maintenance, and specialized feeding procedures for high-needs animals. About: I've taken care of pets since I was a child-- growing up with a large breed and small dog and two cats-- I've always loved animals. I have a large breed dog named Chewbacca and an adult indoor cat named Chase. Both are friendly with other animals, easy going, and playful. I work from home most days so I'm very available! I'm here in my house and I'm happy to offer lots of love, comfort, cuddles, and address any special dietary or medical needs when your pet stays with me! My older large dog is very sweet and sleeps most of the day, but he enjoys playing with other dogs and otherwise is great with cats and any other animals he encounters! I have a large fenced yard on just over an acre outside of Ithaca. Dogs can run and are very happy here when visiting! I am happy to supervise any bathroom breaks or keep your pet on a leash if you prefer them not running the large yard-- whatever feels most comfortable! About: Ive walked dogs for many years from my own dog to friends or families! I have a love for dogs and enjoy spending time with your furry friends! I am available all day on Tuesday and Wednesdays as well as Thursday to Monday before 4pm. I can walk in the mornings and afternoons. I am also able to do overnights if needed. I lost my cat two years ago to old age and cancer. Although I haven't welcomes a new pet of my own into the home I gave birth to Twin girls! They are now 16 months and LOVE visiting with your animals. Sometimes they come with me for walks or drop ins as long as a meet and greet happens where I see a positive interaction between your animal and my babies. If it's not a good match then I either don't have the girls with me or for wont take the boarding request as they live with me full time.

I interned at a rescue horse ranch between high school and college, where I helped care for 7 horses and 9 dogs. Specific services: Housesitting: I have my own car, and can provide morning/evening care, as well as a 1-2hr lunch visit, depending on pet's routine and needs. I have no weekend commitments. Dog-walking: I am available for walks before 10a, between 12 and 2p, and after 6p. I have a flexible work schedule, so exact timing of visits can be adjusted (ie. midday walk at 11a or 3p, instead of 12-2 window). Drop-in visits: I am available for either once or twice daily feeding/walking visits, depending on distance from Ithaca, and pet's routine and needs. Timing same as dog-walking.

May or may not talk to them like they are babies (which they 100% are) I currently work full-time at an elementary school, so this is only a weekend gig. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
