“Alex is a pleasure to deal with. Great communication and I got multiple pictures every day of my pup. Alex is very comfortable with the dogs and is comfortable with Jet. This is Jets’s third visit!”

“I was very pleased with Arya’s care of Duke. Duke has separation anxiety and is only now developing good socialization skills - he originally came from a puppy mill (unbeknownst to me), but Arya (being a sitter as well as a dog trainer) knew just how to take care of him. Duke grew very comfortable with him and I’d be happy to utilize Arya’s services again. He did a great job.”

“I am fully comfortable leaving Marley with Andrea. During her stay, Marley had some stomach issues, and Andrea kept me updated the entire time. Sometimes after staying with a sitter, Marley can be a bit clingy. You would not know I was gone with how relaxed she was when I returned. I highly recommend Andrea!”

“Maxine & Kyle were great - they sent plenty of pics of Kenzo enjoyiong his time. They took excellent care of him and we look forward to bookng with them again soon!”

“Jessica and Eric are wonderful hosts for our dogs. We have been lucky enough to have used their hospitality twice now and our dogs love being with them. They get plenty of exercise, attention and love from their family. Our oldest dog doesn’t come home with the anxiety she gets while being at a dog kennel which is great. We will continue to use Jessica for our dog boarding needs and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving home for their pets.”

“Kathy and Tim took care of Bodie over Thanksgiving week and our pooch had a great stay! We received daily updates and photos and we could tell he felt quite at home. Their dog, Bailey, is well-mannered and friendly to people and other dogs - not a concern at all for Bodie (who's a bit picky about other dogs). We are THRILLED we found a very comfortable and caring home-away-from-home for Bodie and already have plans to bring him back next month. Thank you!!”

“Amazing boarding experience. Robert and Eileen took excellent care of our dogs. They have a large fenced in yard where the dogs can run around off leash and have a great time. Highly recommend their services.”

“Susan took great care of our little dog! She was very loving and sent pictures regularly. She is also very responsive to texts and calls. I would definitely book her services again.”

“Destiny saved me last minute when my regular boarder was booked. She was very responsive, professional and thorough. My golden retriever, Simba was well taken care of in her home, instead of in a kennel at the overpriced “fancy” boarder in Ithaca. She sent me updates and pics daily and answered all of my texts within minutes! When my arrival time changed last minute, she was flexible and understanding. I will be using Destiny in the future and recommending her to other dog parents that I know!”

“Willow has a new best friend in Ray! Ray was very attentive to her needs and to ours as we had to extend Willow's stay due to a medical procedure. He took Willow out for walks and made her feel comfortable in a new setting, even working from his home to keep her company. I would book with Ray again.”

“Jen was fantastic for our high energy dog! She treated her like one of her own pets, sent pictures and videos regularly, and responded promptly. She will certainly be Daisy’s mommy away from mommy whenever we need ❤️”

“Rose took excellent care of our golden retriever during a stressful family event where we couldn’t take Poppy with us. Rose was excellent at communicating with us-sending great photos of our girl enjoying her time away from us. Poppy came home well fed, well loved, happy and very tired! Would definitely trust Rose with Poppy again! Thank you!”

“Our boy Oshie absolutely loved his time with Claudia. So much so he didn’t want to leave when I went to pick him up. Claudia was very responsive and sent lots of photos. It’s nice to find someone you can trust look after your loved ones. Oshie can’t wait to go back.”

“Janet is a wonderful sitter for my little diva Snuggles! She is patient and kind and very understanding. My fur baby is very high maintenance, and I very much appreciate Janet taking the time with her to make sure she's comfortable, and entertained, and treated as well as she would be at home. Thank you Janet!”

“Mikia was super friendly and flexible throughout our pup's stay with her. She sent us videos and regular updates, so we were confident our pup was in good hands. I would happily use Mikia's services again!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that since I was eight years old I have been taking care of cats, dogs, reptiles, and rodents. I have 25 rescue cats back home in California in which I work with rescues for free vaccines and neutering and spaying. Lots of the cats I take care of have special needs or require administering medication. I also have experience with dogs with special needs such as being spoonfed. I work part-time over the winter and will spend most days indoors studying for LSAT. I go for walks on breaks and usually give attention to my pets and others between breaks or as needed! My house has spare rooms where I can house pets if they are not comfortable with my cats! My cats can remain on third floor if needed with free roam acccess around house for cats and for dogs it varies on a case by case basis.

“Karla was delightful! She took excellent care of my cat with thorough updates every day and lots of pictures that helped with how much I missed him! Definitely recommend her and will absolutely be requesting her for future vacation coverage!”

“Victoria was extremely reliable in watching our car over two weeks - she made sure she played and was fed and her litter was clean and the AC was right and everything in between. Will book again in the future!”

“Caroline did a great job checking in on my cat daily as requested. She understood and did exactly what I wanted her to do for my cat and then communicated everything to me. I was reassured that my cat was being cared for very well which meant a lot to me. 🙏🏼 Caroline”

“Max is wonderful. She looked after our three cats over the holiday break, and I came back to 3 happy, healthy cats, as well as an immaculately clean house. I had to change plans a couple of times, and Max was totally accommodating of my chaos! Communication was excellent, and Max is just generally a great person.”

“Rachel did an outstanding job. She came everyday at the same time as I had requested, gave my cat her medications, brushed her and played with her, and kept the litter box tidy. Receiving daily photos is a real plus; it meant I was not worried about my pet’s care. In sum, Rachel is great and I would hire her again in a heartbeat.”

“Our cats loved Tammy! She kept us up to date with pictures and anything important around the house. She asked lots of great questions to make sure the kitties were happy and taken care of.”

About: My very first pet came into my life when I was three years old — a domestic medium-haired cat named Pearl. She lived 16 wonderful years and sparked my lifelong love for all things feline. ❤️ Since then, I’ve rescued and fostered stray cats and kittens, bottle-fed day-old newborns, weaned and litter-trained kittens, and gently socialized shy or undomesticated cats in preparation for adoption. I have experience caring for multi-cat households, senior cats, and cats with special medical needs. I’m confident administering oral and topical medications, and I carefully monitor appetite, litter box habits, and behavior for any changes. I understand that every cat has a unique temperament and routine. I’m especially patient with timid, fearful, or “particular” cats and respect that earning a cat’s trust requires calm energy and consistency. I follow household instructions closely to maintain a stable, stress-free environment, and I provide thoughtful updates and photos so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away!

About: I have experience caring for cats of all ages and personalities, from playful kittens to independent senior cats. I understand that every cat has unique needs and comfort levels, and I always take the time to earn their trust and make them feel safe and secure in my care. Whether it's feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, administering basic medications (if applicable), or simply providing companionship and playtime, I am attentive to the details that keep cats happy and healthy. I also understand the importance of maintaining their routine and respecting their space, especially for shy or anxious cats. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care while giving pet parents peace of mind knowing their cat is receiving the same level of attention and care that I would want for my own pets.
“The best cat sitter we have ever had! Michelle took care of Wiki and our fish very well. Wiki is a very shy cat but she came up to Michelle the second day of knowing her. We highly recommend Michelle!”

About: Hello, my name is Anna and I am excited to care for your pets! I have many years of experience working with animals, from pet-sitting in my home, neighborhood, and campus to volunteering in animal shelters. I am a third-year environmental science student at Cornell University. I have experience administering oral and topical medication to pets, have cared for senior pets, and know how to safely remove ticks. I love hiking and will make sure your energetic pup gets all the exercise they need! I have a car and am happy to bring animals along on adventures. I am a student with a flexible schedule and a car to get me and your animals to where they need to go! Overnight stays are easy for me to do and I often have time for long walks. I can and will care for your pets in any way you need me to! I can easily house sit as well and chauffeur pets to veterinary care or other appointments.

About: I have always lived with pets! :) I grew up with dogs Ella and Koikkie when I was little, and loved walking and playing with them. In college I couldn't have a dog, but I did get my first cat, Oliver. He was more or less feral when we found him but with lots of love and food, he became a lap cat with a happy home on a farm. Two years ago I moved to Ithaca, and have two 3-year old Siberian cats, Nadja and Moose. They need a lot of exercise and play which includes taking them out on leashes to walk around the block. I also frequently cat sit for my friends who have a mix of young and old cats.

“Pedro did a great job taking care of my cat Shadow. She loves being patted and he did that a lot so she got a lot of attention. He recorded his daily visit with pictures. He was very reliable and made me feel relaxed in my vacation. I am already hiring him again for my next trip.”

About: I have been lucky enough to take care of dogs and cats with various needs since 2010, and I have loved every single one. My experience includes long-term stays as well as shorter-term care including walks and check-ins. In both cases, I prioritize your pets comfort by adapting to the details of their routine, as well as your piece of mind by sending along regular pictures and updates. I would love to care for your babies! I work part-time as a barista, so I am available for pet sitting/walking most afternoons and evenings as well as 3-4 full days every week. As someone who grew up with many dogs and who is a current cat mother, I know how much trust is involved in leaving your baby in someone else's care. I am detail-oriented, consistent, and compassionate, and will work with you not only to meet your pets individual needs, but to celebrate them!

“Hiedi was over the top great! She went above and beyond to give my dog Archie a great first daycare experience. She went to lengths to make sure he was comfortable with her dog, and vice versa. He came home totally happy, relaxed and tired. He can't wait to see Hiedi and Kenzi again!!”

“Cannot say enough good things about Jennifer! Needed last minute doggy daycare for my boy. Text her the morning of. She was quick to respond. I felt at ease as soon as I pulled in. I knew he would have a good time and he did! Picking up was also flexible. So thankful for Jennifer today!”

“Kyle took excellent care of my elderly Maltese, Sammy. It was a relief that he was able to take care of Sammy on short notice and give my skittish dog a calm place to stay. He always responded quickly to messages and sent me a picture of Sammy each day. I would happily let him watch Sammy again if we come back to Ithaca.”

“My dog had a fabulous time at daycare with Mikia, her daughter and her dog Zara. I received some great photos (including some funny ones of the dogs wrestling) and felt comfortable knowing the dog was having a good time, socializing and burning off her adolescent energy while I was at work. Highly recommend!”

“Alex was amazing! Initially, I was a bit nervous about dropping off my 8 month old pup, Blue, just because I wasn't entirely sure how he would do in a new environment without me and other dogs present. Blue settled in super fast and had the best day! Alex was reassuring and sent updates throughout the day with pictures and videos that were so appreciated. Blue was in awesome hands and I'm so grateful he had fun with new friends, lots of space to run around, and an awesome caregiver in Alex and his family. Blue can't wait to return and I feel so grateful to have a trusted and safe home for my pup when we need to be apart. Thank you, Alex!”

“We were passing through town and needed daycare for our chihuahua. Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. Wish we could bring Peanut to Shihong every day! Highly recommend.”

“Bianca was absolutely amazing! We really couldn’t have asked for more. She was so flexible and kind to our dog, Mocha. She played with our dog and did training sessions with her. She also has a fun, playful dog, Bear! Bianca also sent us updates about Mocha as well as super cute videos and pictures. We would definitely go with Bianca in the future, and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fun and safe place for their dog to stay!!”

About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.
“I am working out of town and Caterina has been a god send for letting me take my puppy with me during the week. She is tucked away in the country with lots of walks and interactions with other doggy friends, which my girl loves. Highly recommend!”

“Jill was just great! Flexible and friendly, quick with all communication. She was very attentive to Marshall’s needs and made sure that all the dogs integrated well. Marshall had fun playing with her dogs and going on walks. We received videos of him having a good time. Will definitely bring Marshall here again whenever we are in the area.”

Although we live in a townhome there lots of grass and a lovely trail where I can take your furry friend!

“Randi was amazing with Lucky! She went above and beyond to keep him happy and comfortable, and her communication was great both before and during the booking. She sent regular photo updates that gave me total peace of mind, and it was clear Lucky was having the best time. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We’ll definitely book with Randi again the next time we’re in the area!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

About: Animals have been central to my life from an early age, and few things bring me more peace and joy than caring for the beloved pets of others—domestic and exotic alike. For over a decade I’ve provided quality care for cats and dogs of all sizes and ages in both my home and those of my clients’. Ten years ago, I helped launch the STAY WILD Rehabilitation Center in Trumansburg, NY, where I gained extensive hands-on experience rescuing and rehabilitating sick or injured domestic and farm animals—including dogs, cats, horses, and sheep—as well as local wildlife. Through this work, I developed advanced skills in administering medications of all kinds, wound care and maintenance, and specialized feeding procedures for high-needs animals. I’m confident in situations that require extra patience and care at any stage of your pet’s life — from potty training and housebreaking, to teething and the “terrible twos,” all the way through the gentle, attentive support senior pets deserve. ❤️ I am currently finishing the final credits of my college degree, which gives me a flexible and dependable daytime schedule. Because my coursework is remote, I’m able to prioritize consistent, timely drop-ins and structure my days around my Rover clients. I’m available Monday–Wednesday from 9am–6pm, and Thursday-Sunday from 2pm–6pm. I strive to maintain consistent visit windows for every household. I specialize in dependable drop-in visits and attentive walks in your pet’s familiar environments. My car is set up with a dog hammock and pet safety seatbelt to transport your pupper to a nearby park or trail if desired! I prioritize safe and secure leash handling, stay aware of surroundings by avoiding headphone use, and tailor the pace and distance to your dog’s comfort level and energy. I understand how important consistency and routine are, and I carefully follow all feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions exactly as provided. With a background in banking and childcare, I bring responsibility, discretion, and respect into every home I enter. You can expect punctual visits, clear communication, and photo updates so you feel assured and at ease while I’m with your furry family member ❤️. I will treat every pet with the same patience and love I give my own senior pup.
“My dog spent very good time with Rachel. Rachel is the best dog walker I have ever met. She visited us before we leave and try to learn as much as possible about our dog. She kept us updated about Brownie’s status and always kept an eye on Brownie’s water bowl after every walk. I definitely will come back to Rachel again next time.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. Since I was young, I’ve had a genuine love for all kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to more exotic pets. I truly believe every animal deserves to be treated with patience, kindness, and proper care. I currently have two dogs of my own, one rescue and one I’ve raised since a puppy. They are a huge part of my life, and caring for them has taught me the importance of trust, consistency, and understanding each animal’s unique needs and personality. As a pet caregiver, my goal is to provide the same level of love, attention, and quality care that I would want for my own pets. I always strive to create a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for every animal I interact with, while giving pet parents peace of mind knowing their pets are in caring and reliable hands. I currently work nights as a registered nurse, which gives me daytime availability throughout the week to provide attentive and reliable pet care. I am available daily during daytime hours for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pets to ensure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Due to my work schedule and commute, I am generally unavailable after 5 PM and overnight, but I work 3 days per week which allows me 4 days to provide care. The days that I work each week do vary, so feel free to contact me for specifics. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and fully present during the time I spend caring for each pet. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is to trust someone caring for your pets and being in your home, so I strive to provide dependable, respectful, and attentive care at all times. Because I have a dog at home who is not comfortable around other dogs, I currently focus on dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting in clients’ homes rather than boarding. I believe many pets are most comfortable in their own familiar environment, where they can maintain their normal routine and feel secure while their owners are away. I always take the time to learn each pet’s individual needs, personality, routines, and any safety concerns to ensure they receive personalized care. Whether it’s keeping dogs safely leashed on walks, monitoring behavior and comfort levels, or maintaining a clean and calm environment during visits, I aim to provide loving care and peace of mind for both pets and their owners.
“Kait is awesome!! I am a teacher and she is always available when I have to stay after for work to walk Rue. She noticed she had goopy eyes and gave her a warm compress as well as took awesome photos! I don’t trust many with my fur baby; but I highly recommend Kait!! Thank you!!”

About: I have cat/dog-sitted for a couple of friends on multiple occasions. They were extremely satisfied with my service. Additionally, I have four cats at home!

“Mikia was super friendly and flexible throughout our pup's stay with her. She sent us videos and regular updates, so we were confident our pup was in good hands. I would happily use Mikia's services again!”

About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for 10 yrs and have owned a cattle dog mix for 6! I’ve fostered and pet sat dogs, cats, and kittens throughout that time. I have experience giving medication, basic training, and am detail oriented when it comes to any special instructions. My priority is following your lead when it comes to what's best for your pet's safety, nurturance, and play! Right now, my care schedule is flexible! I'm available for boarding in my home or pet sitting in yours. I work part-time, two days a week as a direct service provider from my home and 1-2 events per week at Cornell. I'm intentionally staying open so I can spend time at home with my dog and am never away for long! I love taking long walks around my quiet, rural neighborhood or spending time exploring the area. I live in a quiet, rural cottage with a screened in porch, backyard and tie out. My cattle dog mix is super playful and loves other dogs! Happy to also provide care in your home, especially for cats and other animals.
“Chantal was amazing with my pets! She kept me updated the entire time and made me feel at ease while they were in her care. They came back happy and well taken care of. I would absolutely book with her again!”
