“This is our second time using David and he did a great job watching after our 2 cats for a week over the holidays. We would definitely recommend him and use him again.”

“Whitney is awesome! My cat was super comfortable, and was super happy to have the company. Whitney sent a ton of pictures, always checked in, and we feel lucky to have connected. Will definitely book again!”

“I would definitely recommend Katya to other pet parents. She took great care of my cats while I was away and even helped to clean up after them. Communication was also great and I received pictures of my babies each day. Would definitely book with her again :)”

“Jovian is seriously the best! She is so sweet with our cats and does very well with our grumpy cat, we’re always impressed! She sends great pics so we can see our girls while we’re away, and she always leaves the house clean and secure. We can’t recommend her enough, 10/10!”

“Sarah was very communicative, helpful and took great care of our elder cats. We appreciate her being available last minute when another sitter fell through. Would certainly recommend to others! Thanks!”

“Taryn has been a tremendous help for us and our dog, Tyrion. We rescued him at 8 months after he had some pretty rough upbringing before that, leaving him pretty traumatized and very untrustworthy of people. Even now with him at almost 7 years old, you basically need to be around him multiple times over quite a long period of time to even begin to gain his trust. We let Taryn know that this would be a slow process and we would need her to come over and just hang out with us and him a few times before she would be able to watch him without us there. She was very flexible and considerate and after several of these drop-in sessions, the barking began to wane and he went from avoiding her completely to taking pieces of chicken from her hand. We knew we were going to have to rip off the BandAid at some point and when we had to go away for a wedding, Taryn was ready.. and everything went GREAT! She is officially in the Circle of Trust and this brings us so much joy! Thank you thank you thank you!!!”

“Beau was really great with the dogs! My dogs are super high energy and can be kind of overwhelming at times. Beau was able to play with them and walk them while even working on their behavior. Beau was also very communicative about everything and sent pictures. I would definitely book with Beau again.”

“I am glad she finally let you pet her! A little goodbye nudge. Thank you so much! You have kept me worry -free about my sweet babies! I appreciate you so much and I know they do. I will happily use you again in the future!”

“Teagan came by for a drop-in for our elderly dog. When he met our dog at the meet and greet, she let him pick her up even though she is normally very particular about who can pick her up. He must have a natural way with dogs! The drop-in went well (on time, communicative, sent a pic), so we definitely want him to keep coming by for these drop-in visits!”

“Arielle was amazing with my fearful rescue puppy! She was patient, punctual, and sent lots of photos and updates. So nice especially as my puppy is still adjusting to her new life out of the shelter! Much appreciated!!”

About: I’ve been around dogs all my life—I truly like them more than people 😂. I’ve taken care of dogs of all shapes and sizes, from tiny to huge! I also have experience with young dogs and seniors. Nothing makes me happier than a dog who likes me—seriously, it’s my goal to make friends with all the dogs! I have experience in giving medications, though I’m not as confident as id like to be when it comes to syringes—though I’m happy to keep trying and leaning! I work remote from home and I create my own schedule, so my days and nights are pretty wide open. I find that taking care of pets helps to break up the monotony of sitting at a laptop with the tv on in the background. Playing, walking, and snuggling with a pet is the perfect cure for boredom, that’s for sure! I can’t bring pets into my home, but while I’m taking care of your pets in your home, I like to make sure I leave it exactly as it was when I arrived. I have a deep respect for other people’s space and will always do my best to not disrupt your comfort and privacy. I’m also very happy to check for mail and bring package in from outside, if that’s something you also need help with.

“Adonna is simply awesome. She’s taken such amazing care of our boy Charlie, and acted swiftly and calmly when he was showing signs of not feeling well. We’re truly so appreciative!! Thank you Adonna!!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life but recently had to move and cannot afford a dog on my own. I have experience volunteering in a dog shelter so I’m familiar with all types of dogs and their challenges. Whether anxious, shy, or wanting lots of attention, I can be there! I’m familiar with big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, and puppies. I am a teacher on summer vacation so I’m free almost every day all day long until mid August. My schedule will change once the school year begins but I’ll be free again during holiday breaks! In the past when I’ve helped with dogs, I ask the owner their routines to best support the dogs with familiarity. I’ve noticed they are less anxious when their schedule is systematic. The routine can be as simple as giving an ice cube after a walk or sitting on the couch to give them pets, but it makes a big difference in their comfort! If there is a route you take or a special place to stand, I am willing to learn and support your pet with these routines! I do not do overnight sittings anymore and I do not allow pets where I live due to rules.

“Piper has a gentle approach with our pets which we particularly appreciated with our 12yo pup. She was communicative and thorough in her questions regarding care. Thank you, Piper!!”

She also went above and beyond this time, helping us with a a surprise delivery of work equipment we didn’t know was coming while we were out of town! Can’t recommend Rose highly enough, and neither can Pixel. 😁”

“As a professional dog trainer/behavior specialist, I have high standards when it comes to trusting people with my animals - and Anja exceeds them all. She has a remarkable gift with animals. Her calm, compassionate nature puts animals at ease, and her genuine love for them is evident in every interaction. Anja is patient, attentive, and deeply respectful of each animals's individual needs. It’s rare to find someone with both the heart and the intuition to truly connect with animals the way she does. I trust her completely and recommend her without hesitation.”
Lake Forest Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ashley was our dog walker for the summer and she was great! She was extremely punctual and incredibly reliable. I think she was only late once (just by a few minutes) and she let me know ahead of time. Very good communication. My dog is a reactive to other dogs on leash and she did a great job managing his reactivity and listening to his needs. She also took out our pit Lexi, who’s a big funny little crazy lug, and did a great job managing her energy. If I was staying in the Seattle area, I would def hire her services again!

Haley took great care of our pets for an extended period of time, and also took care of small things at home such as bringing in packages. She sent regular updates, and kept us informed of what was going on at home. She is always very reliable, and I highly recommend her services.

Natalia was amazing. She was wonderful at handling my dog (a very strong Doberman) and worked to accommodate a last-minute several-day request due to an emergency. She provided lots of pictures during walks and feedings, checked in frequently, and was very communicative about the schedule. She’s also just a kind-hearted person. Thank you, Natalia!

I felt very lucky to find Madeline on short notice. She provided me and my cats with terrific service (including rolling my garbage can out to the street the night before pick-up and volunteering to trim nails on one), and my both seemed to get along with her quite well. I hope to utilize her a few times in the next couple of months!!! Highly recommended!

We had a great experience with Shandel! She took wonderful care of our elder cat, Arthur, and our two new kittens, Dunkin and Churro, while we were out of town. From the very start, she was prompt, reliable, and communicative. It was clear from the updates that she treated all three cats with patience and affection, which was especially comforting given the mix of ages and personalities. She also kept an eye on the house, which gave us even more peace of mind during our trip. We came home to happy cats and everything in great shape—can’t ask for more than that. Highly recommend!

Katya was amazing taking care of our dog and cat while we were out of town for a few days. She made sure they were fed and got their meds and gave them some pets and attention in addition. I’d highly recommend her and will absolutely be reaching out again next time I fly anywhere.
