About: Hi there! I’m Liz. I was an active walker/sitter on Rover for about 4 years in Chicago, IL. I semi-recently relocated to Washington Heights, NYC, and am back on the app now that I’m settled. I live nearby Ft. Tryon Park and Bennet Park, so I’ll always have a spot to play with your pet if needed, and am a huge fan of long walks (if/when your pet is up for it). I have full-day availability for your pets on Saturdays and Sundays. I am available in the mornings Monday - Friday, until about 8:30am and in the afternoons after 5:30pm. I have WFH flexibility as well, so my schedule is fairly flexible around Rover needs. I am able to pet/house sit, dog walk, or anything else you might need. I have experience administering oral medicine to cats and dogs, can assist with elderly dogs, and have references to back up my personalized level of care. About: Hi! I'm a college student working toward vet school, so caring for animals isn't just a job for me, it’s what I genuinely love doing. I've had my own cat for 5 years, so I know what it's like to be a pet parent. I've also spent plenty of time watching other people’s dogs and cats, from very high energy puppies to older dogs who just want a quiet environment. I'm comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. If something’s wrong I will reach out immediately. Since I'm on summer break, I have a pretty open schedule, but I do like to be upfront about my specific availability. I'm available Monday through Friday all day. On Saturdays, I'm available after 4:00 PM. I can also do evening visits, but I wrap things up by 10:00 PM. My schedule is pretty open until I start class the 28th of August. I will have class on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11am to 1:45pm and Fridays from 10am to 1:45pm. I know routines are really important to pets, so I'll work around whatever schedule your pet is used to, like midday walks, afternoon play sessions, or evening check-ins before bed. Consistency is very important! I only provide care in your home because I believe that pets are more comfortable in their own environment, with their own things and smells. I'm really careful with doors or any gates and will always make sure to double check every exit to make sure your pet stays safely inside. I will treat your home the way I'd want mine treated, I will clean up after myself, wash any bowls I use, and leave things tidy. I'll also send any updates/photos at every visit so you can see how things are going. I will also save your vet's contact info, just in case of any emergency. I always like to be prepared for anything.
About: I’ve grown up with/cared for all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and more. I have professionally cared for both senior dogs and puppies, including basic training. These were dogs of all breeds, sizes and backgrounds. I currently have two rescue cats and would love to care for some doggies in my free time, as I can’t have them in my apartment!
