“Vivian was wonderful with our dog Pepper when we needed someone to watch her for a few hours during a short visit to NYC. She immediately made Pepper feel at ease and was kind and patient when Pepper showed anxiety and whined.”

About: Trained Walker and Your Pet's Favorite Auntie! 🐶🐱❤️ I know leaving your pet with someone else can be worrisome, so my main priority is to reassure you and guarantee that your pet receives high quality care. I am grateful to be able to connect with and provide service to all animals; it’s my calling! With 10+ years of experience, I specialize in senior pet care, anxious animals, special-needs pets, and animals with past trauma who require gentle handling. I've completed training through an accredited dog walking business which included intensive hands on instruction, focused on dog behavior, safe handling, and structured walks. I offer professional dog walking services that combine exercise and exploration. My understanding of canine behavior ensures each dog enjoys a walk that’s both stimulating and comforting. Walking dogs is a passion of mine, and I take pride in keeping them active, happy, and well-behaved during every outing. I am comfortable administering oral and topical medications as directed, monitoring eating and drinking habits, assisting with vet visits, and providing calm care for pets experiencing pain, anxiety, or age-related challenges. I build trusting relationships with pets by following established routines, paying close attention to body language, and adapting care to each animal’s needs. I value clear, consistent communication with pet parents and always provide thoughtful updates to ensure peace of mind while they’re away. Working with Rover allows me to continue doing what I love most, caring for animals and supporting pet parents. I currently work from home, which allows me ample time and flexibility to give pets focused, attentive care. I live directly across the street from a large park (1 minute walk) and I am a 10 minute walk from a park with hiking trails for extended walks and exercise. Holiday and last-minute bookings are accepted based on availability. I recommend reaching out as early as possible for holidays to ensure availability, but I’m happy to accommodate short-notice requests whenever possible. I live in a clean and quiet ground level apartment with easy access to a nearby park and dog park. I have a crate, bed, food / water bowl, training pads, and toys in my home to ensure your pup's stay is comfortable, clean, and safe. My home is designed to be a peaceful “home away from home." When caring for pets in my home, I follow each pet’s established routines, including feeding schedules, walks and any needed medication. I prioritize safety, comfort, and close supervision. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely. I focus on maintaining familiar routines, keeping the environment clean and secure, and offering clear updates to pet parents.
“Imari is a great communicator and clearly cares about the pups in her care. She took good care of Yoda and took him out for two long outings while he was at daycare. He seemed happy and tired from a fun day. Would definitely book again.”

“Thank you Tiffany for hanging out with Biscuit! I appreciate the updates and quick communication. Also really appreciated doing a meet and greet before we booked daycare. Biscuit is excited to see you again soon!”

“Kiky was absolutely fantastic with my 5-year-old Yorkie! She is incredibly patient and caring, which is so important for a smaller dog. I really appreciated how responsive she was throughout the booking, and the photos she sent were amazing—it was so nice to see my pup looking happy and settled. It’s clear she has a genuine love for dogs and takes great care of them. I felt totally at ease leaving him in her hands and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Liliana was great! She made Turtle very comfortable in her home. Even shares her couch! She gave me updates periodically throughout the day. She’s a very caring individual and I trust her completely with my “puppy” (he’s 12 but still acts like a puppy). I’d definitely engage her service again. Thanks, Liliana! You’re the greatest!”

“Lucia was great, she sent us pictures during the dog sitting and she allowed us an extra hour to come and pick up the dog on Xmas Eve day! thanks again and will book with you again”

“While a few hours may not provide a comprehensive experience, Samantha was very attentive, demonstrated good communicating skills and puntual My dog seemed comfortable.”

About: I’ve been able to take care, and watch over the pets in my family since I was a little girl. I love dogs, cats, and I’d feed strays because all animals deserve to be treated with love and care! I’m currently unemployed due to COVID-19 . I have a free schedule and I’m able to watch over, and take care of animals like they are my own. I have a pet hamster which is very well taken care of. If he needs a trip to the vet it is taken care of because he’s s not “ just a hamster”, no matter the size of the pet, i will love them equally.
“Essence is a lifesaver. She watched my 3 year old dog who has separation anxiety for several days while I had long days of work. Every day my dog would refuse to walk home and was so excited to go back! She sent so many pictures of him taking many adventures, even taking him to the beach! She's very responsive and it was a huge relief to me to know my dog was safe and having a great time. I could not recommend her more.”

I don’t provide crates, if I see my dog is very anxious with the dog I’m boarding to keep both dogs safe I will leave my dog with my mom. Other than that I usually don’t have any problems with dogs being on the bed etc.. My dog doesn’t isn’t aggressive, he’s just anxious when meeting new dogs. But he likes to have company since he’s by myself. I have my living room free with plenty of space for them play around, I recently moved into a new apartment so I dont have any furniture in the living room.

Stephanie and Corey are the best! They've saved my life with watching my 1 year old pup with separation anxiety...he loves them so much and can't wait to spend the day with them and his new best friends Luna and Izzy! I can't begin to explain how much they've helped me with their care and accommodation. I know that my puppy is safe and happy when he's at their house! 💞

Kaitlin has been doing a great job with my senior dog Jackson. Jackson warmed up to Kaitlin very quickly. Jackson is pretty much blind and deaf and Kaitlin has been providing him with support to make him feel comfortable, such as letting him explore her apartment, pick him up to take him up and down stairs, use doggie stairs in her home, etc. Upon short notice she has agreed to adjust the drop off/pick up schedule, feed him meals, and board him overnight. Further Kaitlin gives me updates to let me know what’s going on with my dog, such as pictures, notifying me if he’s sleeping a lot. I’m greatful that Kaitlin is in the neighborhood and plan to use her services regularly.

We are new in the neighborhood and reached out to Lili about boarding and day care for our senior pups. Since our dog has become more finicky about things we wanted to take the process a bit slowly before boarding for multiple days. Lili was completely open to a meet and greet and dry run right away, and the first meeting went great. For our first day care day, our dog was being stubborn about walking down the street to her building. I was able to text Lili and she met us outside to help get our dog inside. This patience and flexibility, along with her warmth and ease in interactions with our dog, immediately impressed us. Lilis reassuring updates and pics from the session, and our dog's content demeanor after pickup, has been so great to see. How fantastic to have a good sitter as a neighbor. Thank you Lili!

Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my dog for the day. You were extremely professional, attentive, and reliable, and it was clear from the start that my dog was in excellent hands. I truly appreciated the care, patience, and kindness you showed, and you did an outstanding job. It gave me great peace of mind knowing everything was handled so well. I would gladly recommend you to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring with animals.

For me to have found someone under such short notice, who not only accepted with less than 12 hours notice, but to also have truly been a pet person was a blessing. Nellysa and her husband were super kind. They treated Charlie with such great care. Truly feel thankful to have found them!! Thank you so much Nellysa! You guys are amazing and I’m truly so so thankful!

Tiffany was absolutely amazing with my puppy, Cosmo! As a new dog owner, I was nervous about going back to work, but she completely eased my anxiety. She took such great care of Cosmo and made me feel confident he was in good hands. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking with her again moving forward. Thank you again Tiffany!
