About: I have grown up with and around dogs, am an absolute dog lover, and am familiar with dogs of all ages. Working remote full time allows me to be flexible with the owners schedules and cater to their and their pets needs. I work from home/am fully remote, so I have a very flexible schedule due to this! I am available Monday - Friday throughout the day for drop ins and walks for your pups! I understand that every dog has different needs therefore ensuring I have the owners trust and the dogs trust is something that is super important to me. I would first ask that me and the owner meet prior to services to ensure everyone agrees this is a good and safe match. Exercise is something that is apart of my daily routine, I can make certain that each dog will get a walk that is catered to their needs (i.e. distance vs play time)

About: Growing up we had at least 2 dogs at a time, many times more. We had our own dogs as well as fostered dogs. Whenever my parent's went away, I always watched them. My mother and I would walk the dogs in the park everyday after work. I have had dogs ranging from a 7 pound maltese to a 165 pound great dane. I have also had a blind dog - no matter the size or disability, I can handle them! I have a 12 pound cockapoo that is under a year old and loves all sized dogs! About: Hello :) my name is Melanie! I’m currently living in Jersey City with my partner and our two older kitties; Anastasia and Nico. Looking forward to meeting new furry friends in the Jersey and NYC area this year! We offer cat sitting (in our home), cat and dog house sitting (in your home), cat and dog drop in visits, and dog walking! Growing up, my family had a variety of pets including: rabbits, cats, horses, doves, and a dog. This has given me a broad, well-rounded understanding of animal care. In middle school, neighborhood dog walking was my first business. A few years later, I began my first employed job working for my horse’s vet on weekends. This included a small animal hospital on the premise along with the large animal hospital. There I learned much more about administering meds, bathing dogs, keeping charts and cleaning kennels. Our pets are family members. Their safety will be my number one concern while walking, performing checks or hosting them at my home. I will provide pictures and videos each visit, while being fully available to communicate with the owners and alleviate fears. Please feel free to message and ask any questions :) I currently work from home with full flexibility. The schedule can be whatever works best for my furry clients! Sometimes we take vacations but that should be reflected in the app whenever I’m out of town. Our home is well set up for visiting cats. We have a spacious two story townhome with 2 bedrooms. Depending on the individual cat, they can be confined to a room if it makes them feel safer or they can explore the house if they want more adventure. There is a balcony for bird watching upstairs and windows downstairs with a cat tree! We will be keeping our own cats separate so there won’t be any problems or stress :)
