About: I grew up with upwards of 5 dogs at one time. I took care of my grandmothers chronically sick dogs when she was recovering from surgery. I've stayed in others homes to watch and care for their dogs. I am an early riser, so I have a lot of morning availability. On weekends, I either work the morning or night shift at my shop, so I can either have all morning or all night to watch/walk your dog. Some days I don’t work at all! I know firsthand that dogs are emotional animals, so with that I know that they can be sad throughout the day without interaction. I can help ease your mind that your dog is getting quality interaction and play time. I also am an avid walker, so I would love to bring your dogs on my daily walks. I also can feed and bathe them. In terms of overnight care, I will fully respect your home and rules as well as leaving your home in amazing condition. Overnight care can help ensure your dog is in its home environment while you are away; this can alleviate anxiety in your pets, so you can vacation with your mind at ease.
“Valeri stayed with my 7 year old rescue beagle Suzi for a week at my house on short notice and was simply amazing. She gave multiple updates a day with great pics of Suzi. Suzi can be stubborn but she was super patient with her. We are so thankful to have Valeri as Suzi's sitter and would recommend her to any and all that ask :) thanks Valeri!”

“Kristin was great! She was available quickly for a meet n greet, was on time, and took great care of my 3 senior dogs. I definitely hope to use her services in the future.”

“Christa was fantastic the entire process of sitting for my senior dog in my home. She responds quickly, asks all of the important questions to ensure she is providing the proper care, then communicates effectively while we were away. She even was able to do a nail trim which is something my very senior dog has refused for nearly a year. What a life saver! I'll definitely be rebooking!”
About: Hi, I’m Eliza! I’m a pet sitter with around 8 years of experience hanging out with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve cared for playful puppies who need lots of attention, sweet senior dogs with medical needs, and everything in between. I treat every pet like my own and focus on keeping them happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether that means long walks, playtime, sticking to routines, or just extra cuddles, I will reliably be there to give your pet the best care possible! I work remotely, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day to check in on pets and provide consistent care during the week. I’m available for walks in the early morning, around lunchtime, and in the evening, with lots of opportunities for playtime and attention throughout the day. I’m happy to help on weekdays or weekends and can adapt to your pet’s routine to keep things as normal (and fun!) as possible. When caring for dogs in their own homes, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles while also following any feeding schedules, medication needs, or special instructions you provide. I’m respectful of your home, keep things tidy, and always prioritize your dog’s safety and comfort. My goal is for you to feel totally at ease knowing your pup is happy, cared for, and getting lots of love while you’re away.
“Sara was excellent! She took great care of my home and the girls. She was in constant communication, and went above and beyond for my pets. I will definitely be using her as my go to sitter moving forward! Highly recommend!!!”

“Andrea did a great job watching our house and pets while we were gone. It was obvious the dogs and cat were well taken care of and the house was nice and clean when we got back. We would definitely book Andrea again!”

I have a full day of classes on Mondays, but I am available for pet care after 5:00 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my availability is from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and after 5:00 pm. On Wednesdays and Fridays, I’m free from 10:00 am - 3:30 pm and after 5:00 pm. Please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to meeting and caring for your furry friends! I am available for dog walking and in-home pet care. I will give your pet(s) tons of love and attention. I am happy to share photos and updates throughout my visit. It is imperative for your pet to feel comfortable around somebody new, therefore I am more than happy to set up a meet and greet before any of my services so that you and your fur-baby are at ease. I have administered my dog's medication when needed, and I am open to taking on that responsibility with dogs in my care if need be. I am happy to provide references upon request.

I’m looking to help out some pets and their owners! I’m currently working part-time and typically have a few days off throughout the week where I can spend time watching over pets. I have a lot of free time outside of my job as I am fresh out of college! I care for pets with lots of attention and love! I carefully follow instructions from clients and am respectful of rules and boundaries within a home. About: Hi! I’m Reagan — a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of professional pet care experience. I ran my own pet care business in Tennessee for a decade, taking care of all the neighborhood pets, from energetic puppies to senior cats and dogs needing a little extra attention. Many of my clients stayed with me for all ten years, which I take as a true compliment to the care and trust I built with their families. I treat every animal like my own. With patience, respect, and love. I believe caring for your pet also means respecting your home and routines. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, or calm companionship, I adapt to their personality and needs. I’ll be starting graduate school in January, so I will have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, or longer stays. Until then I have morning and evening availability outside of work along with weekends. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I always do my best to maintain their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I follow your instructions closely. From feeding times and walk schedules to favorite toys or treats because I know consistency helps pets feel at ease when their owners are away. I also make sure to keep your home tidy and treated with the same respect I would give my own.
“Marisa R. was spectacular! We recommend Marisa to any family looking for someone to watch their pet and/or house. She met with us prior to watching our dog to find out all about him. When it came time to watch him, she followed his routine as described and sent us photos of all of the fun they had together. We felt so grateful to Marisa knowing that our dog was so well cared for while we were away. Thank you, Marisa!”

“It was great having Addy house sit for our frenchies! She met them ahead of time and the pups loved her instantly. She kept us updated with photos and was flexible on pick up time on the last day as well. Thanks!”

“Katherine did a great job watching our two dogs! We felt totally comfortable with her all weekend and knew the boys were in good hands. She left the house super tidy - will be booking again. Thanks Katherine!”

“Elise was absolutely fantastic! She cared for my two mini dachshunds, Oscar and George, along with my boyfriend’s chocolate lab, Claire — definitely a full house, but she handled it with ease. She kept me updated throughout the stay, which gave me peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. When we came home, everyone looked happy, healthy, and well-loved. I couldn’t have asked for better care and would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“We cannot be more grateful for the awesome care that G gave to Charlie while we were gone! It was especially important to us since our pup had an amputation recently. Charlie got lots of love, walks and play time with their dog Koda. We had a lot of updates and great communication. Bonus was we found out he was our neighbor!!! Highly recommend having G take care of your pup.”

Charleston pet parents share their Rover experiences
We’ve used Rover for ten years and in that time have used many different sitters. Chloe was easily one of if not the best sitters we’ve had! She communicated clearly, sent updates, left the house clean, and, most importantly, seemed to genuinely care for our dog and took excellent care of him. We will definitely book with Chloe again!

Gabe was fantastic! He stayed with my senior pup over Thanksgiving weekend and went above and beyond to keep her comfortable and happy. His communication was excellent—regular photos and detailed updates made it feel like I was right there. My dog clearly adored him. I felt completely at ease the entire time and would 100% trust Gabe with future stays!
