About: I have had dogs and cats since I was little allowing me to care for different pets at all ages. I have had Dachshunds and a Mini Australian Shepherd giving me the chance to learn how to best care for dogs of different temperaments. I love and am able to cater to pets of all ages and their needs!! I am attending MUSC for SLP school so I am only able to help pet parents Downtown unless able to drop off at my house. I am available around my class and work schedule during the week. I do not have an exact schedule yet but will try my best to be flexible! I will give your pets lots of attention and love. I know it’s hard for pets when they anre away from home so I will try to stick to their usual schedule as much as possible. I will treat them like they are my own pets!!

As a rescue with a rough early start, my dog can be skittish and slow to warm up to new people and situations, but Kathy and her husband were patient and my dog not only seemed to relax, but also enjoy having a yard to play in and (dog) buddies to play with. About: I was raised by a cat mom, so I grew up in a house full of cats, so naturally they were my first love. Then one day I met a Great Dane, and became completely obsessed with dogs! I’ve had two rescue Dobermans, a Rottweiler, and now my almost 9-year-old retired racing Greyhound, Frank. Along the way, I’ve also cared for all kinds of dogs, including other Greyhounds, Labs, Poodles, Mini Schnauzers, and Shih Tzus. Basically, I love them all—the big ones, the little ones, the quirky ones and everything in between! Frank has taught me just how different each dog can be. He is the most confident scaredy-cat I’ve ever met, believes the floor is lava, thinks stairs are an absolute no, loves long walks on the beach and a good breeze through his hair, and believes any time is treat time. 😂 He has definitely taught me patience, understanding, and how to pay attention to the little things that make each dog feel comfortable and safe. My goal is for your pet to feel loved, understood, and completely at home while they’re with me. ❤️ I work as an independent hair stylist in the West Ashley area so I have control over my schedule, so for things planned with time I am pretty flexible for what you need. Some of my work days vary from 4-9 hours, if anything is booked last minute but I am happy to schedule out time for your pet instead of taking an extra hair client! My boi sleeps about 20 hours a day and stays in his bed all day long with a few stretches here and there. We walk for 20 minutes, twice a day and get treated before long naps. And any other waking moment includes just hanging out on the floor while we chill. Maybe a 45 second play time after dinner. If your dog needs a chill dog, Frank is the chillest. I'd request that any boarding in my home must be crate trained for any day time work hours, otherwise they can be out as much as they want! They can even sleep in the bed with me and my partner if they prefer! Frank does not walk up the stairs, so he stays in bed downstairs. We do not have a fenced-in backyard, but we do have a beautiful safe-for-dogs neighborhood with tons of grass paths as well as paved paths. We can go for a walk and watch the deer in the woods and the egrets in the canals. It's a great place here! There is a small, always empty fenced-in dog park within walking distance from us if your baby needs its freedom for bathroom time! 😂

About: I work from home, and I am able to provide constant supervision, homemade treats, daily exercise, dog park adventures, and a friendly playmate in Alvin my Boston Terrier. I work from home Monday through Friday 7 AM to 5 PM which means your dog will have plenty of attention, supervision and companionship through the day with my Boston terrier Alvin who loves making new friends and enjoys having a playmate during the day. We typically take (3) 15 minute walk through the neighborhood each day and visit the Charleston County Dog park for about 45 minutes most afternoons, giving the dogs extra time to socialize, explore and exercise. Alvin is my first dog and I’ve dedicated a lot of time to learning and caring about his canine needs I have gone online and taking dog training courses and Alvin has learned lots of fun tricks Alvin and I are also learning to paddleboard. My house feature a fenced in backyard (fence is new) and a doggie door leading into a sunroom, giving dogs the freedom to move between indoor and outdoors. I also have a 12-year-old cat, who prefers to stay in the master bedroom but does have some interaction with the visiting dogs. Your pet safety and comfort are my top priorities. Freshwater is always available in large bowls that are clean daily and refilled multiple times throughout the day. I also keep basic pet care on hand. Alvin is friendly playful and enjoy spending time with other dogs. We take regular neighborhood walks and visit the Dog park several times each week allowing additional exercise, and socialization. While I’m comfortable on routine care instruction I’m not able to administrate medicines that require special handling or medical procedures. Please discuss any care needs before booking to ensure I can provide the best experience for your pet.

Jeremiah was WONDERFUL!!! He was so kind and loving towards Tundra. He sent us lots of pictures and updates throughout the weekend. He loved Tundra like his own and took him on multiple trips to the beach as well as plenty of walks throughout the day. Tundra had the best time playing with his dogs, we thought he might not want to come home! Would absolutely recommend!

Amanda and her husband were absolutely amazing with our high energy golden retriever puppy! Our first interaction with Ananda was warm, and full of thoughtful questions to make sure they were the best fit for our dog. During our trip, Amanda was communicative, sending morning and evening updates with photos and made us feel so comfortable, knowing he was getting the best possible care while we were away! A special shout out; our puppy is apparently a bit of a diva and absolutely refused to walk UP the stairs to their home, so they carried him every time he needed to go outside, which is just so above and beyond! We’re so thankful for their flexibility (and athleticism!!) and can’t think of anyone we’d rather leave our pup with during future trips!
