“Kathy was a great host to my pup. She was very professional and took great care of Ollie. She sent updates / photos regularly which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, and would be glad to have her watch Ollie again!”

“Brayden was awesome with my babies. When I picked them up they were so happy, I could tell they had a greak time with him. He was also able to take them running for some real exercise and not just a romp at the dog park. I know my Roxie is a little lightning rod, so he's more appropriated for her dealing with her non stop energy. If you're considering someone who's considerate and will care for your dogs as his own, look no further!”

“Dominic was great! He was able to watch Penny at the last minute since my other sitter had to cancel. He sent updates and pictures every day. My pup loved Dominic and didn't want to leave! Will definitely come back when I'm away!”

“Alyssa was amazing!! I was very happy with her great communication and how well she took care of our senior german shepherd pup ! She was super caring and attentive to make sure our dog had the best possible care. I recommend her highly and can’t wait to continue to use her for our future stays.”

“Sasha is the best of the best! She took such great care of my pup while I was on a trip. She sent me photos and updates, and was so attentive to him even though he was anxious. I highly recommend her and will definitely be asking her to watch Puck again!”

“Nadra was AMAZING! I was worried about leaving my Gunther with someone new, but Nadra kept us in the loop with updates and pics and it was super easy to work out schedules. Gunther was a happy pup when I picked him up. No stressing out and he seems to want more playtime now that he’s home. He must have really loved the doggy company at Nadra’s. Thank you, Nadra!”
“Connie was absolutely wonderful! This was the first time leaving Dixie other than with family! She was well taken care of. Connie provided a safe and happy environment. Connie is our new family member and we will leave Dixie with her from now on! Highly recommend Connie for all your doggy needs.”

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 5 years old! My neighbors often ask me to walk/dogsit. I have experience keeping care of dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages! I am a MUSC student off for the summer, so my schedule is open almost every day of the week! I will be available from morning to night almost all days! I live in a condominium that has a nearby dog park. I also already have an extra dog bed and some toys. However, I personally don’t have any dogs living with me now.
About: I’m a registered nurse with a lifelong love for dogs, which means safety, reliability, and attention to detail are always my top priorities. I had my own dog for 14 years, so I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior or health, and providing extra patience and comfort. Having moved here from Philly, I truly miss having a dog of my own, so I treat every pet I care for like family. I’m calm, observant, and dependable, and I’m especially comfortable with routines, special instructions, and pets who need a little extra care or reassurance. Whether it’s walks, overnight stays, or drop-ins, your dog will be safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. As a nurse, I work three 12-hour shifts per week, which gives me several full days off where I’m completely available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care.I plan my schedule carefully and only accept bookings I can fully commit to, so your pet will always get consistent attention, exercise, and care. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and communicate clearly so you always know your pet is in good hands. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or yours. As a nurse, I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and trained to notice subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. I carefully follow all routines and instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications, leash preferences, and house rules. In a client’s home, I respect your space and keep your pet’s environment clean, calm, and familiar. In my home, pets are supervised, never left unattended for long periods, and kept in a secure, comfortable setting. I use leashes at all times outdoors unless otherwise instructed and avoid dog parks unless explicitly approved. I prioritize clear communication and will provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.
“Kathryn was amazing! I have a ton of anxiety leaving my dog but she immediately put me at ease. She sent pictures and updates which really helped knowing he was safe and happy. Definitely recommend!”

“Lea always takes the best care of Charlotte, and Charlotte always have so much fun with Luna and Cooper. We love here so much and will be returning! Always 100% recommend!”

“So happy we found Fran on Rover! She was super flexible with our drop-off/pick-up times and gave our dog lots of love. Good communication and it was nice to do a meet and greet before booking!”

“Mike was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and asking very good questions to learn about Remi and her normal routines. He also kept me well informed and sent pictures throughout her stay. Remi had a great time and came home happy and tired. Would definitely recommend Mike and will be sure to use him again anytime I need someone to look after Remi.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals of all kinds for over a decade. I have cared for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, parrots, bunnies, and fish. I love animals and have a very open schedule, so I am looking to spend my time doing something i love- caring for animals! I have cared for animals of all personalities and types, and have experience handling medications and fixing invisible fences as well! Im currently a fresh grad and job searching so I can very flexible. I want to keep working while i search for my next move in life! I live in an apartment downtown, so I do not have a yard. That being said, it is better for me to house-sit than board, but I am open to boarding as i live near several parks like Marion square!
“Carla took very good care of Luna. She bathed and groomed her and seemed to make a real connection with her. She went above and beyond with correspondence and pictures, which made us feel no worry whatsoever while we were apart from her. Perfect 5 stars.”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
