“Becca did a wonderful job taking care of my girl, Athena! She sent plenty of updates and was very responsive. Becca has a great yard and porch setup where she and Athena got to hang out, and I know Athena had a good time!”

“Hannah was great with Deku. She sent many pictures of Deku daily, she was professional and asked good questions to make sure Deku felt comfortable during his stay. Her dog Levi and Deku got along very well. She was very welcoming and I could tell Deku was very well taken care of when I picked him up.”

“Alyssa was amazing!! I was very happy with her great communication and how well she took care of our senior german shepherd pup ! She was super caring and attentive to make sure our dog had the best possible care. I recommend her highly and can’t wait to continue to use her for our future stays.”

“Mary Anne was so sweet and my dog was well taken care of. Daily updates and I could tell that Kimmy was calm and stress free when I picked her up. Would definitely trust Mary Anne to take care of my dog again. Also her home is in close proximity to the airport so it was quick and easy to pick up my doggie after my flight home. You can tell that Mary Anne loves dogs and will treat yours well.”

“Abi is such a great sitter! Even if she has 3 golden retrievers at the same time she makes sure they all got the attention, walks, potty breaks and treats they all need. She made sure they all had a golden time and she deserves a golden review!”

“Our dog Pepper appeared to have enjoyed him self with Bijayata . He was happy when we dropped him off and he was the same way when we picked him up. That is how we can tell if he was happy there or not. I would use her again if we are on her area again!!”

“Asia was great boarding our golden retriever and shared regular photo updates while we were away for the weekend. Our pup loved their backyard and made instant friends with their golden retriever as well. Highly recommend!”

“Alison kept our 2.5yo dog for 6 days and we have nothing but great things to say about the experience. She was very accommodating to our schedules, communicative throughout the stay - including daily updates with photos and videos, and had all the right instincts about how to make sure our dog would have a fun and safe time with her dog and other dogs that she watches. We will absolutely be back. Thank you, Alison!”

“Lea is so wonderful!!!! We had a last minute booking for the weekend and Lea took care of our Charlotte so well! Copper and Luna are wonderful friends, I feel so lucky to find Lea, Luna and Copper. Charlotte had such a wonderful time here, I would 100% recommend and would return for sure!!”

“Michelle took excellent care of our energetic puppy Harper. We are so relieved to have found such a reliable person that we can trust to take care of our pet(s) so that we do not need to worry when we are away. Bonus, Harper had the best time following Michelle's dog Pheobe around and was able to learn so much about being with another dog. We look forward to having Michelle take care of Harper again.”

“Sasha always does a great job taking care of our little dog Ginger!... She's always sending pics and keeps us updated with how everything's going!.. Thanks Sasha... we appreciate you!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Charleston
Bijayata was amazing! She kept me updated daily and sent adorable pictures multiple times throughout each day. Prue was clearly happy during her stay and had the best time. It eased my nerves knowing she was being well taken care of and was comfortable while I was away. I will definitely book Bijayata every time I’m out of town, no question.
This is the 2nd time Meg has boarded our puppy. We had a last minute change to our itinerary and she was willing and able to accommodate the extra day. My puppy absolutely loves hanging out with Meg and her puppy. They get along extremely well!!! I will absolutely choose Meg 1st for sitting our puppy. He is well taken care of with her and she follows all of our house rules with our puppy so he is not confused by the difference when he comes home. Meg is an excellent Sitter for our puppy.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
