“Rebecca was totally awesome with my 4 dogs. It was great knowing they were in such good hands while we were out of town. I especially loved getting all the pictures every day to see just how well they were doing. I'd highly recommend Rebecca for any pet sitting you need.”

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life and genuinely love caring for them. I currently have two cats, and I also grew up with many cats and dogs over the years, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, routines, and needs!! I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal like they’re my own; with patience, attention, and lots of love!! Whether your pet is playful, shy, or needs a little extra care, I’m happy to adapt and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m reliable, communicative, and will always keep you updated so you can feel at ease while you’re away. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention and consistent care. I’m currently working toward my flight instructor ratings, so most of my time is spent studying and training, which keeps me local and available. When I’m not flying, I enjoy line dancing and staying active, but I always plan my schedule around the pets I’m caring for. This flexibility allows me to accommodate a variety of routines, whether your pet needs drop-ins, walks, playtime, or just a calm, consistent presence. I always tailor my care to each pet’s specific routine and needs. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean litter boxes or pick up after dogs, and give plenty of attention, playtime, or exercise depending on the pet. I pay close attention to behavior and body language to make sure your pet is comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I’m especially patient with shy or anxious pets and give them time to warm up at their own pace. I also keep your home clean and respected while you’re gone and provide regular updates, including photos, so you always know how your pet is doing. If caring for pets in my own home, I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment, keeping routines consistent and making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for.

About: I have been working in animal rescues since I was little! I have worked with dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and tempers. I have ample knowledge on what is needed for each type of animal and would love to help you out with your pets! I am a full time student at MUSC, but have majority of the afternoons and some mornings free! I also have a cat myself, but she is very low maintenance and does not require too much of my time. I make sure each pet is comfortable and happy in their own environment! I know when an animal needs it’s space or when it wants attention. It is very important to be able to read each animal and gauge what they enjoy, and I can definitely provide this!
“Took special care of our pup and went above and beyond to give medication and help keep the same routine as we battle Westie allergies ! Would absolutely recommend”

About: I’ve dog-sat for families in the past while also caring for my own childhood dogs. We rescued an 18-pound Havapoo named Tigger, who recently passed away from a heart murmur—he was truly my spirit animal. My parents now have a 9-month-old Portuguese Water Dog named Ozzy, and even though I’ve moved out, I still get to dog-sit my “nephew” Ozzy Bear pretty often (not sure my parents knew what they were getting into with a puppy!). Dog-sitting Ozzy inspired me to join Rover. My boyfriend says we “can’t afford a dog” right now, so I figured—why not get paid to love on dogs while slowly winning him over? I’m a teacher with great availability during holidays and summers, and I’d love to help with your dog walking or drop-in needs. It’s a win-win: I get my dog fix, you get reliable help, and maybe I’ll finally convince my boyfriend we’re ready for one of our own! I am a third grade elementary school teacher, who works weekdays 7 AM through 4 PM. I am willing to care for your pets anytime after 4:30 PM as well as weekends anytime! (depending on my schedule that weekend) I care for my clients pets like they are my own. I follow the directions provided to me by the owners and meet all expectations with love and cuddles.
About: With extensive experience in pet care, including both dogs and cats, I specialize in providing top-notch services such as walking and pet sitting. What sets me apart from other sitters is my personalized approach, tailored to meet the unique needs of each furry friend, ensuring they receive the utmost care, attention, and affection while their owners are away. I currently work about 30 hours per week. I am available mornings, nights, and weekends for walking or pet sitting. My schedule is flexible each week! In both my home and my clients' homes, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for pets under my care. Whether it's providing regular walks, engaging playtime, or administering medication, I ensure each pet's specific needs are met with attention to detail and dedication. Additionally, I maintain open communication with pet owners to ensure peace of mind while they're away.
About: I would foster and adopt all the fur babies if I could! I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats of different ages since childhood. Friends, families, neighbors, and acquaintances have trusted me to care for their pets as if they were my own. I rescued my own cat from a shelter and moved across the country with her, then later was a foster fail for a 3 week old rescue puppy, he’s now a 60lb lab-Pitt mix and he and my cat are the best of friends I am currently working Friday-Monday downtown Charleston and have a flexible schedule Tuesday-Thursday when I am not teaching yoga classes in downtown Charleston. I have flexibility earlier on Monday mornings as well. I have 2 friendly dogs and cat (who thinks she is a dog) who get along very well with any dog I’ve introduced them to, a large fenced-in dog park in the neighborhood I live in, can crate dogs if needed as well

About: Some think of their dogs as pets, mine have always been part of the family. I grew up as a child with my late black lab, Ebony, who was one of the most fun-loving family dog their was, even into her old age as I cared for her in her senior years. Then came the spitfires...first Sammy, who is my german shepard with big heart and knack for getting into mischief with the neighborhood squirrels, and then came Jax, the black lab/pit bull mix who is either running in circles or snoozing on a chair. Having grown up with multiple breeds and dog personalities, I've learned how to manage and train dog behaviour as well as recognize how important their routines are, especially when their owners are not around! Outside of my own pups, I'm always the first to volunteer when it comes to dog sitting my friend's pitbull, Taz, when she travels for work, keeping strict routines that help him deal with his mom being away. I also volunteer at the Charleston Animal Society and am a trained dog handler who has come across all sorts of weird dog experiences that I've had to learn and adapt to, all while giving them the most love possible! I work an office job from 6-3, giving plenty of time to take your stir crazy pups for a quick walk/potty break before you get back from work! I also have free weekends where I can board/house sit your dogs while you are away. I have a dog park within my apartment complex, however, I love to take walks in new neighborhoods or keep the dogs in a house they are more comfortable in and drop by/stay over for visits!
“Jai was wonderful with my two pups! They’re a bit older and fussier but Jai bonded with them both well. You can tell she truly bonds with animals quickly and lovingly. Should I need anyone to watch our pups again, she will be my first call!”

“Samantha was great! She came for a meet and greet and kept us informed during the whole stay. She sent pictures at every check in and did a great job caring for my cat! Will definitely book with her again.”

“Madelyn was very punctual for every visit. She weathered the gnarly storm to check up on my sweet Buddy. She also kept me updated on the storm and if it was affecting the area to assure me Buddy was safe. She is very kind and was attentive to mine and my cat’s needs. Thank you Madelyn for an outstanding job! Will definitely book in the future!”

“Mollie was so nice and responsive in the planning process and wonderful with my cat Pippa. This was my first time being away from her, so it was a big relief knowing she was in such good hands with Mollie and that she would be attentive and caring in my absence. I would definitely work with her again!”

“Christine was a new-to-me sitter and accepted a relatively last-minute booking over the winter holidays for my rabbit and cat. Everything went perfectly, and the cat and bunny have no complaints (which is rather unusual when I’ve been gone awhile). I’m so grateful for your help, Christine!”

Caroline was absolutely amazing with my dog, Molly! She took care of her for a full week while I was away, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter.
