“From the moment I met Robin I could tell she would be so caring with my dogs. She was super thorough and you can tell she cares for your dogs like her own. Thankful to have found someone to trust with our doodles when we need it!”

“Teresa was amazing. She was so sweet to our Wrigley and gave him lots of love and attention. She sent several pictures and updates throughout the weekend and it was comforting to see how he was doing. Her communication was great. We will definitely be booking her again!!”

About: I’ve gained experience the last few years in taking care of our German Shepherd, Luna and sweet kitty, Cookie! I always dog sit for friends when they’re out of town and I’ve learned how to give pills to dogs. One of my friend’s dogs has allergy problems and has to take pills for it, so she had to teach me how to do that. I love playing fetch and taking dogs on walks! I also wouldn’t mind giving your dog a bath (or taking him/her to the pet store to bathe them there!). Feel free to message me with any questions you might have! I am available every day after 4:00 and every weekend as needed. I have a flexible schedule and have a good amount of free time. I will make sure your animal or animals get the care they need and make sure they are well taken care of no matter what!

“We love hiring Jenny for our petting sitting needs!! Another great stay. Thank you for taking care of our animals while we are out of town. I never have to worry that they are well looked after.”

“Aubrey was so sweet with my rabbit Dusty! I had only needed her to pop in and feed him but she also spent time with him and gave him pets which I know he appreciated :) she was reliable and trustworthy and clean.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child, and have had over seven dogs growing up. I have a loving dog of my own. I absolutely love dogs and I always have! About: I just moved to Charleston, but have been a pet sitter for many families in Georgia, Florida, and Colorado. I was a live in nanny for 2 years, and during that time, the family got a puppy that I helped take care of. I also have a senior cat who I rescued as a kitten. I absolutely love animals and have had many different pets throughout my life (bearded dragon, dog, cats, fish, bunnies, geckos, snake, turtle, etc.). I am a part time wedding planner and substitute teacher, so I make my own schedule. I have a 5 year old daughter that I drop off at school at 7:15am and pick up at 2:30pm, so I have the whole day to do whatever I need to do without her. She also loves pets, so if your pet likes children, she may join after school! I have a screened in patio and am on the first level in my apartment building. We have lots of trees/greenery in the complex and there are many parks nearby. If I am in your home, I will treat it just like mine. I do ask that my 5 year old daughter is welcome in your home for overnights, and she can stay in the same bed as me.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Johns Island
Haley was GREAT with our two black labs (10yrs and 18 weeks) She came over for a meet and greet and the pups (and the cats too) warmed up to her immediately. She always showed up on time and stayed at least a half an hour. She took lots of pictures and communicated everything that happened on her visit well. We would definitely recommend Haley and will book her again!

Taylor was fantastic and agreed to a last-minute booking when we needed someone quickly! She came and did a meet & greet, and had a very calm trustworthy presence which helped ease my anxiety. She was punctual and communicative and I would definitely book with her again.

Erin was so great with our pups and so attentive to them. She made sure they were well taken care of, and made sure they had plenty of interactive play time during her drop in! Love that she keeps me updated throughout the drop in and shares tons of photos! Very flexible and easy to work with my difficult schedule and last minute needs!

Amber was great and would I’d gladly recommend her to anyone who is in need. She took the time to come and meet my dog and write down all of the details. She didn’t just drop in and let my boy out for a bathroom break, she also took him on walks around the neighborhood, played fetch, and cleaned up after his excited pees - what more can you ask for? If you want peace of mind and good communication, Amber is just that.

Isabella was amazing with my pup, Penny! My dog doesn't always get on with new people, but Penny warmed up right away, which says a lot. She was super communicative with photos of their walks and their day. She brought in all our holiday packages and left the house even cleaner than when I left! Highly highly recommend!

I had a great first experience with Amber. She took excellent care of my two dogs, including one with special needs, and handled everything with care and reliability. Communication was good-and I was out of touch in meetings most of the day. I felt confident they were in good hands and would gladly have her sit for us again.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
