“This was the first time I had anyone else watch Hank and I was scared because I didn’t know how it would react to someone new. Ella was amazing-she played with him and made sure he took ample bathroom breaks. Really eased my anxiety of leaving Hank. Will definitely use her again if our schedules align!”

“Stacey was awesome and took great care of my cat while I was away! She sent me pics regularly to let me know he was good and taken care of so I didn't have to worry while out of town!”

“Chelsea did a great job with our cats. Arrived home to a clean and tidy kitchen and litter boxes. She is a good communicator and we enjoyed the pictures she sent. We recommend her as a terrific sitter!”

“Jennifer always provides excellent care for our kitty. We appreciate the time she spends with him—playing, giving pets and of course Bilbo’s favorite—treats and canned food. Highly recommend Jennifer!”

About: Hi! I’m an avid animal lover with a lifetime of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, along with birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, chipmunks, and even goldfish. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s truly who I am. I understand that our fur babies are special souls and cherished members of the family. When your beloved pet is in my care, they’ll be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. It would be an absolute honor to provide a safe, happy, and comforting experience for your baby while you’re away. My days start early — which means I have plenty of availability during the day, evenings, and on weekends. I love having that balance in my day, especially when it comes to spending time with animals. At home, life revolves around my two dogs — a standard poodle and a terrier mix — along with my two rescue cats, all adopted from different rescues. Caring for them is part of my daily routine, from morning feedings and walks to evening playtime and snuggles. My home is calm, loving, and pet-centered, and I truly enjoy creating a safe, happy environment where animals feel comfortable and cared for. 🐾 When caring for your pet in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I know how important consistency is, so I will follow your instructions closely — from feeding schedules and walk times to medications, play preferences, and bedtime routines. I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of love, attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. Whether that means long walks, backyard playtime, enrichment activities, or quiet cuddle time, I adjust to your pet’s personality and energy level. I’m also respectful of your home. I’ll keep things tidy, provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind, and ensure your pet feels safe, secure, and cared for in their own familiar environment. Your baby will be treated like family every step of the way.
“Alicia was absolutely amazing, and I will definitely be using her again in the future! She provided drop-in visits for my dog throughout the day and exceeded my expectations in every way. Her communication was excellent from start to finish. She kept me updated during each visit and sent plenty of photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Most importantly, she took the time to make my dog feel comfortable and cared for, and it was clear from the photos and updates that my dog was happy and well looked after. You can truly tell that Alicia is passionate about what she does and genuinely cares about the pets in her care. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and professional pet sitter.”

“Danielle was great and our dogs loved her! She was very responsive, logged ever in the river app for us to see about our dogs, and sent us lots of pictures. Highly recommend her and will definitely use her again!”

About: I'm patient and loving towards fun, furry, creatures. Growing up, I had dogs all my life, and I'm currently a dog Mom to a Cocker Spaniel puppy named Phoebe. I currently live in Avondale within 5 minutes to downtown. Our home is very neat and tidy because we want to make sure our dog doesn't eat anything she shouldn't, so it is a complete safe zone for your dog. I've grown up with a large range of dogs, my first being a Labrador, as well as Boston Terriers and then later on, a 120 lb German Shepherd. I've also had many cats throughout my life and just adore them. * Dog-walking - please let me know of any parks in your area you usually walk your pup and for how long you'd prefer. * Please inform me of any medications needed for your pet. I have plenty of experience with medications due to my previous cat who was asthmatic.
“Ying was awesome! Not only did she take the cutest pictures of our cats to keep us in the loop, but they were accompanied by very thoughtful and entertaining summaries of her visits! Always stressful leaving your pets with a stranger, but by her last visit, there is no doubt we will be booking with Ying again in the future :)”

“ZaNayah has been awesome! Our two cats have some quirks and she's been taking amazing care of them. The pictures she sends are the best, they make our day while we can't be there to see the cats' shenanigans ourselves. There was never any doubt in my mind that our babies are in great hands.”

About: I treat every pet like my own, like family. I’m very patient and loving. I enjoy spending quality time with them. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy and loved while you’re away. I have a full time job but in my days off or free evenings I would love to spend all of my time with pets, as new in the city they bring joy to my life. I care about every dog as if it was mine, I have a mini Goldendoodle that I love with my life and he loves being with other dogs as well. I love seeing them happy and enjoying their day.
“What a wonderful girl! Our Teddy took right to her and was very happy to be with her. She arrived on time and kept us informed with pictures of Teddy as we relaxed at the beach and pool! We could never have done that without her. It was so comforting to know that our sweet boy was in such good and caring hands. We really liked Katelyn and will definitely use her when we visit Kiswahili!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life! I’ve had cats and dogs in my home since a very early age. I started pet sitting for neighbors and friends, and i’ve loved watching and playing with other dogs ever since! I currently do pet sitting full time, so my schedule is very flexible! I’m normally there with the pets most of the day that way they are fully comfortable, and are still following their schedule! I make sure to follow all the instructions, so the pet isn’t off of its schedule. I really try to spend the first few days getting close with the pets, that way they feel totally comfortable with me!
“Dyana did a great job taking care of our animals. She followed instructions and asked questions for ambiguous situations. She also sent pictures as well which was a nice little touch. I would rebook again.”

Alyssa was great - as always. She comes about every two months for 4-5 days - and my new (growing) kittens really love her. I appreciate that she sits with them for some time after she takes care of their food, water and litter box. They totally love her - and waller all over her! 🥰

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Ladson with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
