About: My name is Josh! I have a little over five years of professional dog sitting experience, on and off Rover. I've mostly dealt with smaller dogs like Dachshunds, Frenchies, Bulldogs, and Terriers, but I've worked a few larger breeds like Catahoula Leopards, Whippets, Basset Hounds, Sheep Dogs, Pitbulls, Huskies, Great Danes, and Labs. I’m available any day of the week for overnight stays. I’ve never had a poor experience with a dog. Well, almost. I was rather unceremoniously attacked by an Australian Shepherd when I was 8. One might think I would have developed a fear of dogs, but quite the opposite happened: they’re my favorite animal. No matter how high maintenance or aggressive, dogs always seem to calm down around me. So if you’re looking for a reliable pet sitter who has an inexplicable knack for handling dogs, I’m your guy. I only work weekend evenings so I am free during the week, so I am readily available for any service needed. If you do need service on weekend evenings, my girlfriend is willing and able to assist. I have a relatively spacious apartment, with lots of safe dog toys. If a client requests toys for their dog I can provide it. I don’t have a fenced yard but I always take care to make sure all dogs are leashed. I work weekends, usually night shifts. I always make sure that my client’s dogs are fed and let outside prior to leaving for work and promptly upon returning. Most week days are open for me, so I will be around all the majority of the day if not the whole day to care for them. About: I was pre-veterinary throughout college and spent several years working as a veterinary assistant. I have owned dogs & cats since I was a little girl, and now own a 3 year old chocolate lab named Boone whom I trained to retrieve and do game recovery myself! Growing up I often pet sat for family friends and neighbors, and have always loved animals. I was the little girl who brought any animal home (sorry mom and dad) and just love to see all of their little (or big) personalities! I’ve always been drawn to working with animals, and I’d love to love on your fur baby! Currently available Monday through Friday 7 am - 7 pm. Limited availability on Saturdays. Currently, sundays are unavailable unless I’m watching your pet in your home while you are away. While I don’t have an appropriate setting to care for your pet in my home (currently have one dog living in my home), I would love to drop in and care for your pet in your home. I’ll always make sure they have water before I leave (unless given special instructions), give them plenty of time to potty and stretch their legs, of course give some scratches and play time, and follow any special instructions left for me. I’m also able to administer medications and have experience caring for animals in a veterinary setting.

About: I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I wish I could have a dog of my own, but due to where I'm currently living my landlord doesn't allow dogs. I have grown up with a dog and it is hard not having one around. My childhood dog was Bruno who was a Boston Terrier. When he passed away it was devastating, but we had the opportunity to adopt Gizmo who was Pug and lived with me up until the middle of high school. After Gizmo passed away, we adopted Odie who was another Boston Terrier. We rescued him from California, and he brought so much love and joy. Years later due to his health issues and age, he eventually went to doggy heaven. I love having the opportunity through Rover to be around dogs. All instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your fur buddy happy! My schedule is flexible when it comes to fitting pet care into my daily/weekly routine. I can accommodate to make sure the pets routines are consistent with having a similar schedule in place. During the meet and greet is when I like to find more about the pet, when they are to be fed, bathroom breaks, playtime, exercise, and sleep. It is important to have a schedule in place, so nothing is forgotten about and helps to keep everything structured. Whether the service being drop-in visits, or dog walking. I will be transparent, always verifying with the client's first, and asking for all necessary information. For example, care instructions, owner contact information, and emergency contact information for every stay.

I would love to get to know your furry friend and watch them when you can't. I have four of my own all chiweenies. Abbie is the oldest at 11 years old. Flint is 5 years old. Then Freya is the “baby” at 4 years old. They are little spitfires for their small size but sweet as can be. I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes though big or small.
