“Melanie was absolutely awesome. She was so helpful with all of my needs, and she had no problem at all helping me out with extra issues that came up! She was very responsive and asked great questions, and she did an amazing job engaging with my cats and playing with / taking care of them. I felt at ease knowing she was there to take care of them, and I can’t recommend her enough!”

“We were delighted with the care our cats received from Paige! Although they can be a bit shy (both rescues) they clearly warmed up to her quickly (nuzzling and petting in the first days photos). Communication with her was very quick and easy, and she is very pleasant in person also. We will definitely ask her to sit for our fluffs again!”

“Katie was FANTASTIC with taking care of my high maintenance indoor and outdoor crew - the kitties were all so happy and she kept in great contact with me the whole time to let me know how they were. I have never had a better pet sitter!”

“"The only complaint that I have about Jess is that my dogs just may love her more than they love me! Upon meeting Jess, her sweet and calm demeanor put us all at ease and I felt an instant connection with her. She took EXCELLENT care of my three Yorkies. She provided each of them with love & individualized care. I would not hesitate to hire her again and I would highly recommend her to anybody for pet sitting! We have used Jess multiple times through Rover since this initial review. My Yorkies are always happy to welcome her back into their pack when they see her. She offers thorough updates with photos….and, I never have to worry about my babies or Jess being inside of our home. She is so clean!!!! I lover her!!!! XOXOXO 🐾 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻”

About: I have grown up with pets my whole life and have a big passion for the safety and well being of all animals. About: I am a foster puppy mom on my 88th in 4yrs. I have learned about caring for dogs the hard way. 🤣 I work remote and am flexible with my schedule. I have many references all over the Charleston area, around the country and even Ireland. On my 30th sit on TrustedHousesitters app and can provide those reviews as well. I am constantly fostering puppies, so it is my 24/7 existence. I am used to walks every two hours and extra attention to avoid the teething stage becoming destructive. So I'm very good at following a schedule. I prefer to care for dogs in their own home, so they feel safe and comfortable and their routine is consistent. I follow the directions from the family as every dog and their needs are different. I have watched all aged dogs, as well as dogs in recovery from sickness and surgeries. Aside from the basic needs of food, walks and love, I’m happy to do anything needed.
About: Hi! I’m a big animal lover and have been around dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up helping train service dogs for my mom, so I learned early on about patience, consistency, and understanding how dogs think and communicate. My family also had cats and fostered kittens when I was younger, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and personalities. I also spent years pet sitting for neighbors growing up, which gave me even more experience caring for different animals and routines. In college, I volunteered with 4 Paws for Ability, where I helped work with service dogs in training and took part in hands-on trainings and education sessions. It was such a rewarding experience and deepened my love for working with animals. I’m currently finishing up grad school and will have a very flexible schedule while I study for my board exam, which means I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I haven’t been able to have a pet of my own while in school, so I’ve really missed being around animals, which is a big part of why I’m excited to be on Rover and spend time caring for yours! Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your pets like my own. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet with someone, and I’d love to help make that an easy, stress-free experience for you. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! “Kilee did a great job with my dog Oreo! She spent more than 30 minutes each time she dropped in to spend time with him and make sure all of his needs were met. She was very communicative and shared pictures with me. I look forward to reaching out to Kilee in the future any time I need help with Oreo!”
