About: I’ve taken care of furry friends of all types since I was around 10 years old. I’ve also been a long time dog owner and trusted pet sitter for many years. “Melanie was absolutely awesome. She was so helpful with all of my needs, and she had no problem at all helping me out with extra issues that came up! She was very responsive and asked great questions, and she did an amazing job engaging with my cats and playing with / taking care of them. I felt at ease knowing she was there to take care of them, and I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: Feeling , thinking , and caring for animals is how I dedicate my time with them and that’s all that makes sense because they can’t talk 🙂 Unemployment from paid jobs has found me , unfortunately , so I have a lot of time to truly give animals the imaginative ideals that they deserve ! I have an extra room with a caged bird and extra lively arrangements like TV , radio , paint water out of reach , an old couch , and places for water and food bowls

About: I've had a dog my entire life up until now. I can take care of puppies, seniors, large dogs, small dogs, dogs without a tail and puppies in diapers. Med administration and vitals checks are ready to go too. I just became a student and somehow have found myself pet free for the first time. I'm pretty available all the time and would love to love on your fur babies. I have a half fenced in yard they can run around in. They can get on the couch or the bed of they want to. Pet friendly house with nothing edible in dog's/cat's reach. Plenty of great places to walk around Mount Pleasant.
About: I have had the responsibility of taking care of dogs since I was 6. Always had a dog in the house growing up. I have been asked to take care of dogs of family and friends. Whether it be housing their dogs, checking in and walking, or staying at their place to care for their pets. I do work M-F locally full time. I am able to go home at lunch time during the weekdays to walk and take care of your pet. Weekends I am off and available any time. I live in an apartment complex that has a completely fenced in dog park. I own a medium size dog who is relaxed, but playful and good with every dog he has ever met. On weekend I take my dog to the larger fenced in dog parks in the area for him to run around. I usually walk my dog 4 times a day. Once in the morning, once at lunch, and 2-3 times in the afternoon/night.
“Here’s a suggestion for your review: Jennifer was absolutely amazing in taking care of my cat while I was away! She was incredibly responsive and kept me updated with regular communication, which made me feel at ease. It was clear that she truly cares about animals, and my cat was well looked after. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: I’ve had dogs of my own and have cared for friends’ and family’s pets for years. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I treat every pup like my own. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I recently launched my own business, so my schedule is very flexible and allows me to prioritize walks and visits throughout the day. I love having pet care as part of my week and make sure each visit gets my full attention. During walks and drop-in visits, I care for pets the same way I would my own. I follow each pet’s routine, make sure they get exercise, fresh water, and attention, and keep safety top of mind at all times. I’m respectful of my clients’ homes and always communicate updates so pet parents feel at ease.
About: Hi, I'm Emerson! I have had dogs in the family since I was 2. I’ve been pet sitting for neighbors and friends since I can remember. I have experience with very laid-back dogs, as well as more high-maintenance dogs. I just lost my dog of over 15 years, Scout, and am not ready for another dog yet. So caring for yours would be so fulfilling in this time without a dog at home! I work from home, so my flexibility is pretty wide open. I understand the trust you put in someone when allowing them to care for your pet, and I take that very seriously. I will care for your dog as if they are my own. I love all animals, but have a heart for dogs, and hope that you will allow me to care for yours! I work full time from home, so I have a very flexible schedule! Weekday jobs preferred over weekends. I have a work obligation every Saturday morning through early afternoon, so am unavailable or would have to be away from your home (if the service is house sitting) during that time. I am in a condo in a great, active location. The neighborhood is close to shops and has lots of safe walking trails that are off the beaten path and away from traffic. I live 5 minutes from the beach, so if your dog loves the beach, we'll be there a lot!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
