About: I've taken care of many dogs and cats over the past 10 years. This includes several special needs animals and even cows and horses! If your pet needs a little extra help, I am happy and willing to adapt my care services! I love and have a passion for all animals. Please send me a booking request if you are looking for pet care in the greater Charleston area for Summer 2026! I am a graduate student and work part-time this summer. In my free time, I love hanging out with your pets when you are away! I love neighborhood walks and am happy to spend time with your animals. Please take a look at my reviews! I will make sure your pets receive the best care, it’s important to me that animals feel loved and nurtured while their primary caregivers are away.
“Christina was so good about responding quickly to a last minute need for help. She took great care of our dog and also sent us lots of pictures and a short update each time she dropped in. We really appreciated the pictures and notes as they gave us piece of mind to see him looking happy! We will certainly be reaching out to Christina again!”

About: I have been around animals of all kinds since a young age and love interacting with pets. Many of my friends and family members have relied on me to stay overnight, drop in during the day, and play with their dogs and cats to ensure they are enriched with play time and are well taken care of. I love fur babies of all sizes and breeds! I grew up with 2 large Rottweilers Bear Puppy and Katie. 3 Shih Tzu’s Molly, Alley and Cash and 1 miniature schnauzer Nicholas. I’m currently working part time in Downtown Charleston. Mondays and Wednesday I have more flexibility before 1:00 pm because I work remotely. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I am available for any lunchtime walks, play dates, and all the fur baby love! While I wish I could bring your pets to my home, I do not have the proper safety precautions for doggies and my kitties are timid of visiting pets, so I want to respect their home. When it comes to going into the pets homes I will ensure that all dogs remain on their leash while on walks away from the home and in the yards of their homes unless there is proper fencing to keep them safe. And same goes for inside/ outside kitties. I want all pets I interact with to feel safe in their environment and comfortable with me caring and interacting with them!

“Emma watched Ava for two weeks while we were out of the country. I am so happy we had her as our sitter!! She was extremely reliable and timely and I could tell truly has a passion for animals. She is so sweet and took great care of our girl - and I would rebook her again in a heartbeat!”

About: Hi my new friend! I have taken care of pets since I was a teenager. From having multiple cats of my own, to caring for loved ones dogs, cats, and rabbits, I can easily and enjoy walking, playing, and taking care of animals. I run my own business, and am a Pilates instructor on the side. I have plenty of flexibility in my week to care for my pets when said pets need me most! I can easily ensure your pet is safe both in home home and on the go! I am comfortable crating, gearing up, and ensuring the fence stays shut 🤪
“Amy did a great job taking care of our extremely shy cat while we were away, even coaxing her out of her hiding spots for treats/petting. We received updates from Amy daily and notes about how our cat was doing, and felt very comfortable that she was in good hands.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs on and off since I was 15. I grew up in a house that always had a dog, so animal lover at a young age(: What sets me apart is the flexibility and attention I can offer. I run my own business and work from home most of the time, so I’m not squeezing in pet care between a 9-to-5 — I’m genuinely available and present throughout the day. Dogs in my care get consistent attention. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages and stages, from puppies who need patient training and routine, to seniors who need a little extra gentleness and attention to their comfort. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual personality and needs rather than treating every pet the same way. I love taking pictures of your pet while you’re gone to show that they’re well taken care of and having fun. Feel free to reach me on my cell, email, or text anytime. I own my own business, so I set my own hours and work from home the majority of the time. I can build dog care right into my day rather than rushing it before or after work. Mornings usually start with a walk, then I’m home and available for check-ins, play breaks, and potty breaks throughout the day, with another walk or beach trip in the afternoon or evening. I’m flexible to host or pet sitting from your home-I will need to bring my dog along with me. In my own home, your dog becomes part of our daily routine — walks, regular potty breaks, playtime with Copper (my calm, friendly Lab mix), and plenty of company since I work from home most of the time. They’re never left alone for long stretches, and I keep a consistent schedule for feeding, walks, and rest. When I’m caring for pets in your home, I follow your routine as closely as possible — same feeding times, walk schedule, and any house rules you have. I make sure your pet has familiar comforts (their own bed, toys, food) and stick to whatever keeps them most comfortable in their own space. Either way, I send photo updates so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and having fun.

“5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dakota was absolutely amazing! She took care of my home, two cats, and even a fish while I was away, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She gave my pets so much love and attention, sent regular updates and photos, and left my home spotless. I came back to happy animals and everything just as I left it. I felt completely at ease knowing Dakota was there. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, caring, and communicative sitter!”

Whether your dog needs walks, playtime, feeding, or just extra love while you’re away, I’d be so happy to care for them like they’re my own! I’m currently working part-time, so my schedule is pretty flexible for walks and drop-ins. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and help with walks, potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, and playtime during the week or weekends! I’ll make sure your dog gets lots of love, attention, and playtime while you’re away. I’m happy to do walks, backyard play, potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, and plenty of snuggles. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and always be careful with leashes, doors, and gates so your dog stays safe and happy!

“Reagan did a great job. She helped care for my very geriatric cat and her particular needs. She kept her thriving for the 1.5 weeks I was away. Would re-hire and would recommend.”

I have experience sitting for elderly dogs with medication needs, and puppies as young as 4 week. I had to book super last minute for someone to come by and let my dog out, and Rehanna was so quick to respond!! She kept me updated before she went over, while she was there, and after she left, and let me know that she was free for future visits too. I really appreciated how quick and responsive she was, and how excited she seemed to help me and my pup out!! Thank you so much Rehannah!

Brynn did an absolutely amazing job taking care of my dog, Stevie, while I was on vacation. She made sure Stevie got outside on time, took her on plenty of walks, and gave her lots of love and attention while I was away. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Stevie was in such caring and capable hands. Brynn was always punctual, incredibly dependable, and communicated with me throughout the entire trip. She kept me updated, responded quickly to messages, and made it easy to relax knowing everything was going well at home. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after, and Stevie absolutely adored her. I couldn’t recommend Brynn more highly. If you’re looking for someone who is trustworthy, reliable, communicative, and truly treats your pet like family, Brynn is the person to call!

Emma did an amazing job caring for our dog, Fable, while we were away. She followed every instruction, sent updates after each visit, and included lots of photos so we always knew how Fable was doing. We came home to a very happy girl, and we’d happily book with Emma again and recommend her to others!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
