I am home most of the time or taking care of my own pets. I am available pretty much anytime during the day and any day of the week. If you are working late I am available to take your pup out or feed your cat. I have a car and assure you I will be on time for any task.

I give both of my pets lots of love and attention, I love spending time with my pets and making sure they are taking care of. I am able to walk, visit, or feed any pet. Giving my pets love means giving other peoples pets love because it can be difficult not being around your pet/owner and I am here to alleviate some of that stress. I take care of my pets with diligence and will do the same for you!

I am very flexible however I would like to be informed if your dog has behavioral issues, his daily habits, and what he enjoys. It’s important that I know a few things about your puppy before diving in. I want to be able to reassure any owner that their dog or cat is in the best hands!
A typical day
With my dog I love to take him on walks around the neighborhood, bring him to dog parks. I even take him to restaurants so that he learns to be social. With your dog I can do any of the above especially long walks. It is important that a dog knows his surroundings and can smell all the different things in our beautiful city!

I am a reliable and passionate animal lover who has had pets my whole life. I currently care for my black cat, Bagheera, and my golden retriever, Duke, and I also lease a horse named French, which has strengthened my responsibility and consistency in animal care. I am highly organized, dependable with time, and committed to following all instructions carefully to ensure every animal is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

I really appreciated Dakota taking my last minute request for care for my very large dog Freya. She was not intimidated by her size and welcomed her into her apartment with her own cat and dog. Freya was very willing to go with her the following day which is the highest compliment, as she does not like leaving me and jumped right into Dakota's car. As you may expect there was a bit of last minute shuffling of schedules to make it work but Dakota made herself available to pick up and drop off Freya to make it easier for all. All and all it was a good experience for all and I'd happily use Dakota for care in the future....
Dakota took great care of our 3 cats while we were gone. She followed house rules and communicated throughout our time away. She sent us pictures of each cat which made us happy! Thanks so much!
Dakota did a great job watching our kitties for the weekend. She followed all instructions and was respectful of our home. One of our kitties is a scaredy cat but actually came out to greet Dakota on the second visit! Would love to work with her again (:
Dakota is a wonderful and responsible caregiver. My cats love her and that’s says a lot because our ine cat, Cat Stevens, never comes out of hiding when a stranger is in the house and he couldn’t get enough petting and love from her. She showed up when she said she would, took care of the cats, the litter, the food and water and gave them both tons of love and attention. I highly recommend Dakota if you’re looking for quality pet care!
