“We have leaned on Katrina for a few years now and we STILL cannot imagine leaving town without her being in charge of our cats and home. She genuinely cares about our fur babies well-being and comfort while we are away. She is thorough, consistent, patient, and always exceeds our expectations while we are away from our babies. Her communication is unmatched as we LOVE receiving her visit pictures of our fur babies safe and sound. We know our babies are in the safest of hands with Katrina; we cannot thank her enough for everything that she does for our family. We will ALWAYS highly recommend Katrina for all pet sits — there is just no one better.”

“Daniel is a very responsible and reliable young man! We were very impressed with him and have already booked him for another weekend! We cannot say enough about his professionalism and communication! 5 star rating!”
“Sage responded quickly and was able to help us out with a last minute booking, came when scheduled and sent photos and updates! Would definitely book again and grateful for taking good care of our pup!”

About: I’ve taken care of just about every kind of pet. I have plenty of experience caring for and loving animals. From puppies/kittens to senior dogs/cats I just graduated so my schedule is very flexible! I’m open to morning, midday, and nighttime care. Any day of the week works for me. I have a fenced in yard but prefer clients’ home visits! My golden retriever loves other dogs if home care is necessary. I am comfortable with giving animals medication if that fits your pet’s needs.
“Gaby handled our 3 cats exceptionally well. Was understanding of their needs and made sure any post meal issues were handled. She was communicative throughout and helped me to learn the system. Would certainly recommend Gaby to anyone whose pets need looking after.”

“Kierstin was awesome watching my cats! She sent lots of pics while I was gone which I greatly appreciated and was always very timely with her responses. Highly recommended and would use her again as a sitter!”

“Delaney was awesome and easy to work with. She met me and my 2 dogs beforehand for a quick introduction and then was timely in checking in on them throughout the week. Good care and great communication. Will book again!”

About: I am an animal lover with 3 golden retrievers of my own! I have been known to win over people-selective dogs and have even been compared to a young pup with my playful energy. Sure to provide your animals with the enrichment they crave (and wear me out too which my wife will appreciate)! I love to wake up with the sunrise and get early morning walks in as well as sunset walks! I am used to handling 3 rambunctious dogs so I have the energy and passion to care for animals all times of my week! Since I'm not boarding, every visit happens in your home, on your pet's turf so my top priority is keeping their routine as normal as possible while being a careful guest in your space. I follow feeding, medication, and walk schedules exactly as instructed, and I always double-check doors, gates, and locks before leaving so pets stay safe and secure. I treat your home the way I'd want mine treated which means lights off when I leave, mail/packages brought in, and everything left exactly as I found it. I have three golden retrievers of my own, so I'm comfortable reading a pet's body language and know how to keep things calm if a pet seems anxious without their owner around. You'll get photo or text updates from each visit so you always know your pet (and home) are in good hands.
About: Pets are family. I know that is true for myself, and I know that is true for you! I have been around cats and dogs my entire life, as a child I loved animals (still do!) so I read every book I could get my hands on about cat and dog behavior, dog training, etc. Animals are still one of the biggest things of my life! As a child I spent all of my free time training my 2 rescue beagles, whom we had from puppies through their full lives including their late senior years. I currently have a perfect 2 year old Great Pyrenees mix and she is the light of my life. I have also had many cats throughout my life, I grew up with 3, and I currently have three! Mochi a gray, cuddly, seat thief, Violet a brown tabby and white, rambunctious, parkour pro, and Jasper a mischievous orange gentleman. They are the reason I'm not currently offering services in my home, as it takes time for them to get comfortable around other animals, but they are learning with fosters in the house! I started fostering in January of 2025, so far I have fostered 2 dogs and 10+ cats (including two different 3 legged cats, and a mama and her 4 kittens!) Fostering and rehabilitating animals has become a big passion of mine. Seeing them heal, come out of their shell, and gain confidence is so rewarding and beautiful to see. I never see myself stopping! Having had many animals in my care throughout my life, I have administered prescribed medications, cared for elderly dogs, small kittens, and special cases. I told everyone as a child that I wanted to be a veterinarian, and am currently working as a receptionist in vet med. I have also worked at a boarding facility, and feel that at home care is best for most pets! I have always loved working with dogs, and cats. It’s a goal of mine to train service dogs, and own a rescue cat cafe in the future! AVAILABLE HOLIDAYS! I'm currently working full time with a semi irregular schedule. I will always be available Sundays and Thursdays all day, as well as after 6:30pm, and depending on distance from work to your home before 6:30am all other days. Open for recurring drop ins/walks. Walks & Drop ins: I prefer a short first meet in the pet's home before drop ins or walks, so your pets have time and space to feel comfortable around me. This way we will both be and feel safe! I love caring for animals whether they need a little more patience, ear scritches, belly rubs, medication, or a couple hours of fetch, (I never tire from fetch not unlike my cousin's dog Bailey and maybe yours too?) Walks: I am open to long and short walks, as well as feeding them, making sure they stay hydrated and giving them any treats you provide/approve of! Hope to meet you and your pet(s) soon! I am available holidays!
About: I always took care of dogs for family and friends while they travel. We don’t have pets of our own currently, so know that your pet will get a lot of love from us. I am currently working from home and usually just leave the house to take my son to daycare and pick him up. I can take your dog out as many times needed for walks and bathroom breaks during the day. We live in a townhouse, with no fence. So we will always need to go out on a leash. I do have a 2 year son, so your pet needs to be good and/or used with kids. We don’t own any pets so you can rest assured they won’t have any problems with that.
About: Im Maggie! I have always had a special place in my heart for animals. Pets are a part of the family, and so I know how important it is to know they’re being well taken care of while you’re away. My family has never owned less than 5 animals at a time, and i’ve always had responsibilities taking care of them. I myself have a husky Dakota. He LOVES other animals. He’s great with both dogs and cats! We are very active and love to visit dog parks, and go on walks! I’m a recent graduate of nursing school, with an open and flexible schedule while I secure a job. Both Dakota and I would love to have the privilege to watch/walk/care for your pet! If we can answer any questions or make anything more convenient just let us know! :) I have a wide open schedule while I am studying for my boards to help with any pet needs! I myself have a 7 year old husky and a 14 year old chihuahua that I take care of everyday🫶🏼 I currently live in Dunes West with an unfenced yard, and am open to short term boarding. House sitting I can drop in as much as needed/stay for extended periods of time- however I prefer to spend the night at my own place due to my personal dog’s preferences haha
About: I have my own rescue doggy who is about 11 years old. She is the BEST girl! She had a hard life before me so she has some special needs. I LOVE animals and caring for others. I am terrified to leave my baby with someone so I GET IT. I will go the extra mile to relieve your fears so you can have peace of mind! I have been a FT nanny for the past 10 years and love to care for others but would like a change! I am an as needed nanny and dog walker for a bunch of families. It varies. I can set an on going schedule if you would like! I cannot care for dogs in my home because my baby has a hard time with other doggies. I will baby your four legged baby just as I do my own. Nice long walks, belly rubs, treats, can send pics/FaceTime with update, make then run so they are tired & whatever else you need! 😎
About: I've loved animals since I was young, and any day I get to spend with an animal, especially a dog, is a good day. I currently have a Shiba Inu puppy of my own, and have had a border collie mix in the past. I've worked for doggy daycares, and in a dog grooming salon. I've dog sat for "difficult" and anxious dogs and always won them over! I'm working part time right now, and the schedule varies, but most days and times work for me! I'm very flexible and can help make things easy for you! I have a friendly Shiba Inu, a puppy playpen, an extra crate, and a dog safe space! Just let me know of any special requests and I can make it happen!
About: I’ve been an animal lover ever since I got my first pup at 10 years old, and I can’t imagine life without dogs! Over the years I’ve cared for my own dog through every stage of life, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member. I’m active, dependable, and happy to match your pet’s energy, whether that’s an adventure outside or cuddles on the couch I work part-time, so pet care fits naturally into my routine! I enjoy staying active, so daily walks and spending time outdoors are already part of my day. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable walks, drop-in visits, and quality one-on-one attention. Whether it’s an energetic walk, playtime, or simply keeping your pet company, I genuinely enjoy making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. I know every pet has their own routine, so I take the time to follow your care instructions closely to help them feel comfortable and at ease. Whether I’m walking your dog, stopping by for a visit, or caring for them in your home, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, fresh water, meals, potty breaks, and, of course, lots of love.
“Happy to have Jenny back to check in our cats. She’s everything we look for in a sitter and more. The boys are comfortable with her and she sends great pics of how they’re doing. I can’t thank her enough for taking such high quality care of them.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. When I was nine, my Yorkie was hit by a car and my parents wanted to put him down. I promised I would take care of him and give him the medicine and care he needed. Because of this love and care I had for Toto, we got to spend another four years together. I treat my dogs and all dogs like they are family because they are! Pet care is my passion! I am available on the weekends, week nights and lunch time to care for our fur babies. One call that’s call ❤️ I’m very respectful of the space in which your babies already occupy. Part of my mantra includes treating ones home as your own so I’ll be more than respectful inside your house.
About: I’ve taken care of pets and was raised with animals my whole life. I enjoy the company and have raised a dog of my own for a while now. My schedule differs every week, but my schedule gets posted on Saturday’s for the week. My shifts only last about 6 hours long. I have a fenced in yard and have a dog of my own that is really good with others dogs. In others’ homes I can make sure they always have water, food and hugs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Wando with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
