About: I’ve had 10 + years of pet experience. From early age I’ve always had small to large dogs. My most recent elderly golden retriever passed, and I now have an adorable 8 month old golden retriever. Neighbors rely on me still to care for their pets when out of town. Your pets are in good hands and I’m knowledgable to assist with any and all pet needs. I’m a pharmacist by day, so my schedule often changes, please message me for availability I’m currently working part time as a pharmacist, please message me for availability! Available most weekends as well as throughout the week. Schedule does often change so message in advance and I can work something out I have a small fenced in yard, as well as 1 golden retriever puppy who is 8 months old that gets along well other dogs. I also am able to crate if needed and assist with any other needs. There are lots of walking paths near me so your pet can get plenty of exercise if needed.

I am a full-time grad student at MUSC with school obligations periodically throughout the week, mainly on Wedneaday! My schedule is most suitable for a long weekend visit, but I am happy to watch your pets throughout the week if they are comfortable being alone while I am in class or if you are comfortable with one of my relatives stopping in to cover for me midday. About: Update: Back at it in September 2026 after a couple years learning to become a vet tech! Now 2 years experience in 2 different clinics (Foxbank and Cainhoy) plus working with a dog trainer/boarder/day camp host (Pete’s Pack Walks). My specialty is anxious/aggressive dogs, but I also have experience with puppies from 24 hour care post-birth to training, kennel dogs (show dogs in need of socialization & volunteer work), senior dogs, and medical issues. Since relocating from Boston, I completed all the dog handling trainings via the Charleston Animal Society and am in the process of becoming first aid/emergency certified for dogs :) I live in an apartment with my service dog: she gets along with all dogs and has been used by my friends to help train their dogs. If your dog likes dogs I’m happy to bring her, if not it is no problem. My routine is 90% pet care between caring for my own and helping friends watch theirs, studying to be a Veterinary Technician, volunteering at the Charleston Animal Society, and helping consult my friend’s dog training/camp business which has 20+ dogs in attendance for morning camp I help with - I’ve learned a lot about dog behavior. About: Pets are family. I know that is true for myself, and I know that is true for you! I have been around cats and dogs my entire life, as a child I loved animals (still do!) so I read every book I could get my hands on about cat and dog behavior, dog training, etc. Animals are still one of the biggest things of my life! As a child I spent all of my free time training my 2 rescue beagles, whom we had from puppies through their full lives including their late senior years. I currently have a perfect 2 year old Great Pyrenees mix and she is the light of my life. I have also had many cats throughout my life, I grew up with 3, and I currently have three! Mochi a gray, cuddly, seat thief, Violet a brown tabby and white, rambunctious, parkour pro, and Jasper a mischievous orange gentleman. They are the reason I'm not currently offering services in my home, as it takes time for them to get comfortable around other animals, but they are learning with fosters in the house! I started fostering in January of 2025, so far I have fostered 2 dogs and 10+ cats (including two different 3 legged cats, and a mama and her 4 kittens!) Fostering and rehabilitating animals has become a big passion of mine. Seeing them heal, come out of their shell, and gain confidence is so rewarding and beautiful to see.
