“Jennifer always takes the best care of our elderly dog, Gary. She is reliable and very responsive to communication. She is also the best about sending daily updates while we are away. It allows us to fully enjoy ourselves while out of town, because we know our boy is in the best of hands. Thank you, Jennifer!”

“Leigh and her family take great care of my little girl! Leigh is always fast with communication and sends pictures and updates often! I highly recommend using this family!!”

“Thank you Diane for taking such great care of my dog. Charlie is a skittish miniature poodle mix that does not connect with everyone. Diane made her feel at home and sent pictures. I would definitely recommend Diane and we will be using her again.”

“Jennifer did a great job of taking care of my boy Sailor. Her communication was off the chain great and she sent lots of pics making sure that I knew he was doing great. I trust Jennifer whole heartedly with my boy and will choose her again the next time I travel and can’t bring my boy with me. Again! I can’t thank you enough. I think Sailor was sad to leave.”

“Andrea was the absolute best sitter for our pup, Ernie. She’s so sweet, attentive, and accommodating. She sent the best photos and updates while Ernie was staying with her, which we really appreciated. Andrea is definitely our go-to sitter now!”

“Very happy with Nicki and the overall experience with Rover. Nicki sent photos and videos during the entire stay. It was great not having to worry about how my pet was doing, she was well taken care of. I would highly recommend Nicki and I will book with her again. Thanks again for taking great care of Sassy.”
“I can’t recommend Richard (Kyler) enough! We’re fairly new to Rover and feel incredibly fortunate that our first overnight sitting experience was with him. Our dog, Tide, is still growing out of his puppy tendencies, and Richard was patient and thoughtful throughout his stay. He kept us updated with pictures and messages, which gave us great peace of mind. We couldn’t be happier to have found him—in fact, we’ve already rebooked Tide’s next stay. Highly recommend Richard without hesitation!”

“Kalea and Tristan were amazing! We got daily updates of our dogs without having to ask & were very responsive! They’re close to our home & right off of 17 which made it so easy for drop off on the way to our trip. Dogs came home happy & will use again!”

“Kathy was fantastic providing exceptional care for our boy Hero. We got regular updates with pictures and they treated him like one of their own. We will definitely use Kathy again in the future.”
“Our two older boys came with us to Charleston for a family vacation. Our accommodations were not pet friendly but I wanted them to be nearby as they can be anxious when alone for extended periods. Anna and her husband were great and kept us updated on our boys all week. I could tell they felt right at home. She made sure they had what they needed and her home was great for my boys and similar to what they were used to at home. She sent me frequent updates and photos throughout the week. We appreciate her loving them like her own and will definitely use her services again if in the area with the pups! I recommend her for any family who wants their pups to be safe and happy while they are vacationing- I had peace of mind the whole time we were away!”

“Stephen & Jessica are the best! We always feel comfortable leaving our fur baby with such responsible & loving people…..at this point, it’s Aunt Jessica and Uncle Stephen🫶🏼”

“Rocky had a wonderful time with Sasha and Kyzua. Sasha was very communicative and sent lots of cute pictures. It was very comforting to know he was being well loved and taken care of while we were gone. Rocky is looking forward to his next stay.”

“Kelly & her family were the very best host for our girl! They cared for her and loved her - also communicated very well the entire stay! Our sweet girl gets firework anxiety and Kelly was so sweet caring for her and also providing updates on how she was doing. Will definitely have her watch Cayenne again!!”

“Absolutely 5 stars for Chelsea! She was a lifesaver, stepping in to watch our dog for a weekend with very little notice. Chelsea went above and beyond by offering to meet early to introduce the dogs, which gave us such peace of mind. Throughout the stay, she kept us updated with plenty of pictures, showing how much care and attention our pup was getting. It was clear our dog was pampered and treated like one of her own. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend Chelsea to anyone needing a caring, reliable sitter!”

Could not have asked for a better sitter! Morgan and Matthew treated Norman like he was their own and spoiled him with so much love and attention. They even had a pup cup ready for him when I dropped him off. It was obvious from the updates and photos that he was feeling right at home. I think he was genuinely sad to leave when I picked him up 😂 I would 100% recommend - they’re the kind of people you hope to find on Rover!

Amareigh was an awesome host for our grand-dog, Ollie! Ollie is a “one-person” dog…well maybe three-person when you count us grands…and we were concerned how she would adapt to a new caregiver and a new environment. Amareigh soothed our concerns with daily photos that clearly showed Ollie’s comfort and peace in the host location. We’ll definitely use Amareigh whenever we need a host?

Janine was absolutely wonderful. She is beyond knowledgeable, thoughtful, kind, and caring. She genuinely loves dogs and gives the most amazing advice and guidance for a novice puppy owner like me. Having never had anyone take care of my sweet puppy I was extremely nervous to leave her with a total stranger but Janine immediately put me at ease. I’m not sure it would be possible to find anyone else as good as she is to care for your dog.

Kayla is a very sweet young woman who took excellent care of our 6 pound, 13 year old dog Mollie. She obviously is very experienced with dogs of all ages and knew just how to care for a senior dog. When we returned to pick up our dog Mollie, she was very calm and happy which was a sure indication that she had been well cared for and felt very safe and secure in Kayla’s care. We plan to call on Kayla again to take care of Mollie whenever we have to travel without her.

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
