About: I have lots of experience helping to care for animals from taking care of horses to bathing dogs. I have pet sat for neighbors before. I’ll be working 25-30 hours per week so I will have plenty of time to fit Rover clients into my daily routine and schedule. I currently have an Aussiedoodle that I walk 2-3 times a week. I also have a fenced in yard that he loves sunbathing in.
“Cassidy did an amazing job at checking in on our two Sphynx cats while we were away. They can be a high maintenance breed but that didn’t not bother Cassidy she followed all the instructions to ensure they were well taken care of (even Minnie) who essentially played hide and seek with her the entire time. She gave us detailed updates and photos of how the visits went which was really appreciated. We would rebook with Cassidy!”

“Delaney was wonderful! She was super responsive, carefully read and followed all of our instructions for the home, and made sure Huckleberry got plenty of lovins while we were away. It’s always such a relief to know you have someone you can trust with both your home and your pets while you’re out of town. We would absolutely recommend Delaney and would happily book with her again!”

“Booked Jennifer last minute for a few walks over the weekend. She truly saved the day! She was super responsive from the first inquiry all the way through taking care of our doodle. She showed our dog amazing care each time, playing with him, going on walks, feeding him. Highly recommend and our pup loves Miss Jennifer!”

“Delia was wonderful! Both our pups were well cared for while we were away for a week. Great communication, followed our instructions to a tee, I would highly recommend Delia and I will be using her sitting services again.”
About: I grew up with dogs my whole life — from small breeds to big, energetic ones — and I’ve taken care of all kinds along the way. Small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, I’ve handled the different needs each size brings, whether that’s extra exercise for a high-energy breed or gentler handling for a smaller one. That hands-on experience means I know how to adjust my approach depending on your dog’s size, temperament, and needs. Your pet will get the same attention and care I’ve given my own dogs for years. I work fully remote, which means I’m home most days and can step away anytime to let dogs out, feed them, or just check in. If needed, I’m happy to bring my laptop and work from your home so your pets have company throughout the day instead of being alone for long stretches. After 5pm and on weekends, I’m completely flexible and can give your pets as much attention and playtime as they need. Whether I’m in your home or mine, safety and routine come first. I currently live in an apartment right next to three dog parks, all within easy walking distance, so dogs get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and socialization if that’s something they enjoy. In your home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine, feeding schedule, and any specific instructions you give me, so there’s as little disruption to their day as possible. I treat every home I’m in with the same care and respect as my own, and I’m always reachable if you need an update.

“Riley was great! She was always on time and was loved dearly by my pets. She followed all of my directions and went above and beyond in taking care of both of my dogs for a week. I’d highly recommend her for pet sitting!”

“Sharon checked in on our cat at our home twice a day when we were out of town. Our cat is very friendly and clingy, and this was the first time he had ever been alone for more than a day, so we were a little nervous how he would react. Sharon took great care with him and sent tons of photos to ease our minds! Our cat loved her. Sharon is great with communicating, always timely, and knows a lot about animals. I will definitely book with Sharon again and highly recommend her!”
“Sage responded quickly and was able to help us out with a last minute booking, came when scheduled and sent photos and updates! Would definitely book again and grateful for taking good care of our pup!”

“Anna was so great taking care of our dog and cat while we were away for the holiday. Very communicative, proactive, and sent lots of pictures to keep us updated. We’d love to have her sit again!”

“Margaret dropped in with my elderly dog for two days this week at the last minute and took great care of her. She was great with communication! Would definitely book with her again!”
“We appreciated Kathryn's consistent engagement with our cats for the 8 days she checked in on our cats. She was always on time, fed them as we asked, and cleaned up things. But the best part was seeing her pics with them on each visit. They seemed very happy and were even waiting at the door when she arrived. We look forward to booking Kathryn again in the future.”

“Cassidy did a great job taking care of our cats while we were out of town recently. Appreciate the engaging time she spent with them and sharing pics daily afterwards. We always felt the cats were cared for and safe. Thank you!”

About: I genuinely care about the wellbeing of your pets and will make sure that they are comfortable with me! My pets are like my children and I know how important it is to trust the person you leave your pets with. I am also comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. One of my dogs struggles with dog reactivity and as a pet parent, I know how stressful it can be to find a sitter that you trust even more. Be ensured that your pets will be taken care of and loved on while I am your home. 😊 Starting in August, I will be working M-TH so I am looking for anytime on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays mostly! Happy to discuss days and times with clients! I will only be watching animals in others homes as I have three pets of my own in my house! Happy to talk dogs on walks, play to get energy out, as well as feedings. Comfortable with administering medications as well!
“Paige was so easy to work with and took really good care of my two dogs. There was even an accident that she cleaned up. She kept me updated throughout my trip and followed my instructions as I asked.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Wando
We had a great experience with Alexandra. I felt at ease and comfortable with her caring for our cat while we were away. When she came for a meet and greet she took her time and let Ari come to her. Ari can be finicky and sensitive to changes. We dealt with behavior issues around traveling before and this time we didn't have any issues. Very satisfied and will reach out to Alexandra again in the future!

So happy with Delia’s care! I scheduled a last minute trip for the weekend and my mother usually takes the dogs out for me if need be. She was out of town too, and so I gave Rover a try! Was very hesitant at first having not used a service like this for them, but Delia made it so easy. She was so kind, attentive and the girls loved her. Thanks again, Delia! Will certainly book again!

I needed a last minute dog visit. Reached out to Bailey and she was quick to do a meet and greet that day. Bailey was great! She arrived on time and didn’t rush the visit. She communicated with me well and really treated my dog like she was family. She followed my instructions and even stayed longer to visit with my dog. I received two cute photos of the time she spent with my dog. I really enjoyed using Bailey.

Jennifer is amazing! She took great care of my dog and cat, and genuinely cares about their wellbeing, comfort, and happiness. She is reliable and attentive, making it much easier to be away. I love the updates and adorable pictures she sent with each visit. I will definitely ask for her help again. I highly recommend Jennifer!

Megan is so great! She usually comes to check on our dog during long work days and recently she’s been checking on our cat while we’ve been traveling abroad. Her flexible schedule was super helpful and it gave us peace of mind knowing she was coming by. We loved getting her photos and updates.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
