“Gretchen is one of the best dog sitters/walkers I’ve ever had! She has a dog of her own that she loves more than anything and she spreads that love to my own. I have two German Shepherds who are fiercely loyal and loving but also have anxiety around new people and new situations. When we moved to our new home their anxiety intensified. Gretchen came over and spent extra time with them until they warmed up to her and made them comfortable. She’s extremely patient and kind toward my boys and they quickly loved her! She always goes above and beyond (my dogs wouldn’t eat very much during the transition to our new home and she made them eggs which they loved! And it helped me get them to start eating again). She has been such a blessing to us and we have become great friends! I trust her completely with my dogs (whom I love more than most people ;) Gretchen is reliable, responsible and goes above and beyond. She will take excellent care of your pet!”

About: I had so many kinds of dogs . Love playing with them. They are my everything. They get all my attention. Look forward to meeting all doggies. Love them. I think Zeus loved Alexa as much as we loved her each time she took care of him. Never anything to worry about while we are gone because Alexa was always dependable and communicated with us if she had any concerns or issues. We highly recommend her to be a caretaker for anyone's pet.”

About: Taking care of my own three dogs, with one who had seizures and CHF. It’s a lot to manage, but I love them so much! I am available from Monday-Saturday 9am-11am, 12pm-2pm, and from 5pm-8:00pm. I have kids in school to take and pick up. More availability during the summer. I first have to build trust between the dog(s) and I. Having them feel comfortable with me will hopefully grow into a loving bond between us.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life, as a child I loved animals (still do) so I read every book I could get my hands on about animal behavior, dog training, etc. I spent all my free time training my 2 rescue beagles, whom I had from puppies through their full lives including senior years. I have also had many rescue cats throughout my life, I currently have two! Mochi a gray, cuddly, seat thief, and Violet a brown and white, rambunctious, parkour pro. They are the reason I'm not currently offering services in my home, as they're very shy. Having had many animals I have administered prescribed medications, and cared for elderly dogs. I told everyone as a child I wanted to be a veterinarian, and as i’ve always loved working with dogs it’s still a dream of mine to train service dogs. I'm currently working part time with a fixed schedule so I will almost always be available the same days and times each week. I am typically available Tuesday-Thursday all day, and Friday-Sunday after 2pm. Open for recurring drop ins/walks. AVAILABLE HOLIDAYS! Walks & Drop ins: I prefer a short visit in the pet's home before drop ins or walks, so your pets have time and space to feel comfortable around me. This way we will both be and feel safe. I love caring for animals whether they need a little more patience, ear scritches, belly rubs, medication, or a couple hours of fetch, (I never tire from fetch not unlike my cousin's dog Bailey and maybe yours too?) Walks: I am open to long and short walks, as well as feeding them, making sure they stay hydrated and giving them any treats you provide/approve of! Hope to meet you and your pet(s) soon!
