Your pets, my top priority!
I grew up with dogs my whole life — from small breeds to big, energetic ones — and I’ve taken care of all kinds along the way. Small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, I’ve handled the different needs each size brings, whether that’s extra exercise for a high-energy breed or gentler handling for a smaller one. That hands-on experience means I know how to adjust my approach depending on your dog’s size, temperament, and needs. Your pet will get the same attention and care I’ve given my own dogs for years.

Safety, trust & environment
Whether I’m in your home or mine, safety and routine come first. I currently live in an apartment right next to three dog parks, all within easy walking distance, so dogs get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and socialization if that’s something they enjoy. In your home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine, feeding schedule, and any specific instructions you give me, so there’s as little disruption to their day as possible. I treat every home I’m in with the same care and respect as my own, and I’m always reachable if you need an update.

Garrett has watched my 5 year old Australian Shepard many times! He is very attentive and caring. My dog loves him so much and gets excited to see him every time! He will also update you with pictures if you ask which I enjoyed because I am a crazy dog mom. Definitely recommend Garrett!

Schedule
I work fully remote, which means I’m home most days and can step away anytime to let dogs out, feed them, or just check in. If needed, I’m happy to bring my laptop and work from your home so your pets have company throughout the day instead of being alone for long stretches. After 5pm and on weekends, I’m completely flexible and can give your pets as much attention and playtime as they need.

- Before I watch any pet, I like to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any allergies or medications they’re on. It also helps to know their personality, whether they’re anxious around strangers, reactive to other dogs, or totally easygoing, so I can make them as comfortable as possible. For dogs, I like knowing their leash manners and energy level ahead of time. For cats, I like knowing if they’re more independent or need extra attention while their owner’s away. Any specific commands, quirks, or things that stress them out are always good to know too, so I can give the best care possible.
