“Nadaia is fantastic! She’s great at communicating and goes above and beyond. She sent lots of pictures & very detailed Rover cards. I booked her for several days, and I would definitely choose to book with her again!”

About: I love all animals even the not so loved ones. I currently have a cat and miss caring for other animals. I have experience with large breed dogs, cats, several snake species (even the spicy ones), tarantulas, rats, rabbits, ducks, and ferrets. I’ve rescued some kittens and puppies as well. I love all animals but I do favor the reptiles! I kept all sorts of snakes such ball pythons, boas, carpet pythons, blood pythons, retics, white lipped pythons, and more! I am a hair stylist and know my schedule weeks in advance. I am always available every day after 7pm and sometimes earlier. I offer late night/last minute services so don’t be afraid to ask! My full time job prevents me from offering morning/lunch time services every day. I will guarantee your pet will get my full undivided attention in the comfort of your home, on walks, or just drop in visits. They will be loved.

“Morgan is a cat parent's dream. She is tidy and considerate, takes great pictures of your pet, and is respectful of your home and your time. My cat was happy and relaxed when I got back home and it's clear she was well cared for.”
“Emily was great. My cat can be timid and take awhile to warm up to strangers and Emily was extremely patient with her and ended up getting her to come out to play. We came home to a happy, healthy cat. She kept me updated and was very easy to keep in contact with. Will definitely use her again and would recommend!”

“Madelyn was very punctual for every visit. She weathered the gnarly storm to check up on my sweet Buddy. She also kept me updated on the storm and if it was affecting the area to assure me Buddy was safe. She is very kind and was attentive to mine and my cat’s needs. Thank you Madelyn for an outstanding job! Will definitely book in the future!”

“Josh was amazing with my pets and sent me pictures and videos of them with every check in. They looked so happy with their time with him. I felt so at ease that I knew my pets were in good hands with him taking care of them!”

“Really came through for us with our last minute plans. Very flexible and easy to work with. Good pics of the animals. Everyone seemed happy! Will use her again!”

“Jeremy is always so great with Jewels and I have been using him for almost a year now without any issues. Jewels loves his drop ins and I would recommend him to anyone. Ty Jeremy”

“Averi is fantastic! She helped me out super last minute with my dogs and was flexible fixing our schedule. Reliable and always sent updates on how each visit went. I really appreciated all her help!”

“Rebecca was wonderful! She came to meet our three cats before we were going out of the country for almost two weeks and they took to her right away (even the very shy one sniffed her)! She was very thorough with checking in and out and made sure to send us pictures, which we loved and appreciated! I will absolutely hire her again next time we need a cat sitter!”

“Devon took great care of my cat, Neon, while I was away. She was reliable and communicative that gave me peace of mind. I came home to a happy cat and would definitely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Connor was so helpful taking care of my cats! He payed special attention to all of the instructions, medications, special prescription food, etc. He gave my cats cuddles & sent photos of them together. I definitely recommend!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - North Charleston
Becca did such a good job with Andi! After a bad experience with another sitter, we were super hesitant to book anyone for our trip. Becca went out of her way to make sure we knew when she would be at the apartment and everything that happened while she was there. We came home to a comfortable and happy cat. We can’t wait to book Becca again!

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
