I am a student at MUSC so I will have classes Tuesday-Thursday but can work around my schedule. I also am not available Sunday mornings. Please reach out and we can figure out a time that works for both of us! I am offering dog walks and will play with and feed your pet during our time together while making sure you stay updated! I will make sure to send updates of your dog during our time together and ensure they are well taken care of the whole time
About: I have had boxers my whole entire life and have recently moved away from home. I miss them dearly and would love to share the care and attention I have with your dog. I have had experience training, walking, feeding, and taking care of elderly dogs to puppies & and all the ages in between. I currently only work at night so I have plenty of time during the day to add hanging out with your dog to my routine! I currently live in a safe walkable area with plenty of paths- perfect for dog walking. I have reliable transportation to all over the Charleston area to take care of your dog!
“Daphne was amazing with my cat! This was my first time being away from him, so I was definitely a little nervous, but she made the whole experience so easy. She was timely, caring, communicative, and I could tell Remy was in great hands. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was being well taken care of while I was gone. I couldn’t recommend Daphne more and will absolutely be using her again!”

“Kelsy was great! Good communication and she is wonderful with my cat. I felt very comfortable and confident leaving home and having her check in on Courtney. I highly recommend Kelsey ans will definitely ask her to help again when i need to go out of town.”

About: I am a law student who misses her pup at home and loves watching animals, giving them lots of love, and taking them on walks! I have classes until about 3pm Monday through Thursday but free all weekends! Have lots of free time in the evenings to spend with your pups! Always make sure every pet feels at home and safe. I have experience with lots of foster dogs so know each dog is unique and has their own special needs. My first priority is making your pup feel at peace with a home away from home!
“Margie did a great job caring for my elderly beagle. She followed directions, sent me numerous photos, all at the last minute as my scheduled caregiver cancelled. I would use her again and highly recommend her!”

About: I have had the responsibility of taking care of dogs since I was 6. Always had a dog in the house growing up. I have been asked to take care of dogs of family and friends. Whether it be housing their dogs, checking in and walking, or staying at their place to care for their pets. I do work M-F locally full time. I am able to go home at lunch time during the weekdays to walk and take care of your pet. Weekends I am off and available any time. I live in an apartment complex that has a completely fenced in dog park. I own a medium size dog who is relaxed, but playful and good with every dog he has ever met. On weekend I take my dog to the larger fenced in dog parks in the area for him to run around. I usually walk my dog 4 times a day. Once in the morning, once at lunch, and 2-3 times in the afternoon/night.

About: I've had a dog my entire life up until now. I can take care of puppies, seniors, large dogs, small dogs, dogs without a tail and puppies in diapers. Med administration and vitals checks are ready to go too. I just became a student and somehow have found myself pet free for the first time. I'm pretty available all the time and would love to love on your fur babies. I have a half fenced in yard they can run around in. They can get on the couch or the bed of they want to. Pet friendly house with nothing edible in dog's/cat's reach. Plenty of great places to walk around Mount Pleasant.
“I feel blessed to have found Kristelyn to take care of my dogs. They are my spoiled babies and love her. She gives them love and takes them on walks while I'm out of town. I can tell from pics she sends they are having fun and are being treated with care.”

“Richard as a life savior for me! We had a trip planned for a year. Our house was a total disaster because remodeling was underway. I have a large group of cats and the care is above average. Because Richard sent me photos and maintained the cleaning , i was able to enjoy my vacation despite the chaos of the remodeling and leaving my cats. THANK YOU RICHARD!!!”

“Kaitlin is the best! Our doggo loves his visits from her and he always looks so happy in the pics she sends in his report card. Very reliable and we appreciate her last minute accommodations! Highly recommend!”

“Kilee did a great job with my dog Oreo! She spent more than 30 minutes each time she dropped in to spend time with him and make sure all of his needs were met. Kelsey is a fantastic pet sitter! She came over within a day of me reaching out to her for a meet and greet, my 16 year old Bichon warmed up to her right away and she is very experienced with older dogs as well. Kelsey is very responsible, prompt, responsive to questions, and I felt very safe leaving my pets in her care. I highly recommend Kelsey!!
Daphne was amazing with my cat! This was my first time being away from him, so I was definitely a little nervous, but she made the whole experience so easy. I couldn’t recommend Daphne more and will absolutely be using her again!

Carson is absolutely phenomenal. There was an issue with the apartment key and getting in and she stayed and worked with me and my apartment complex to let my dog out. She is super quick to respond, dependable, and cares about making sure your pet is well taken care of. She did a great job!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
