“Smoke had a great time with Shelia and her pups! We got pictures and videos multiple times a day with updates. Shelia and her family took great care of him and treated him like family! Thank you!”

“As expected, Large Henry has returned from vacationing with White Henry (and Richard) and he’s happy, healthy, the right kind of exhausted, and all too eager to silently shame us for not providing him with the luxuries and indulgences that have been his norm for the past week. No more multiple meandering walks and exploratory trips to the dog park, no more constant companionship provided by buddy-dogs 24-7… he’s quite disappointed to be stuck with us in his day-to-day spoiled events… apparently he’s had a taste of how the elite dogs live, and now he’s having a hard time going back. Thanks a lot, Richard. (Seriously though- thanks for flexibility and patience, more useful in dealing with Henry’s owners than managing dozens of dogs, I would imagine).”

“Sasha is the absolute best! She takes such amazing care of my dog, does all sorts of things he loves like taking long walks and couch cuddles, and sends the cutest photo and video updates. This is my third time booking with her and honestly I would rearrange my travel around her schedule if she was busy when I needed a sitter!! Highly recommend!”

“Our dogs reaction when they saw Jennifer for their second visit said more than any actual words could. They yelped with delight and their tails wagged and they ran pulling on their leashes to get to her faster. We are so thankful for her loving care💛”

About: I’m a registered nurse with a lifelong love for dogs, which means safety, reliability, and attention to detail are always my top priorities. I had my own dog for 14 years, so I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior or health, and providing extra patience and comfort. Having moved here from Philly, I truly miss having a dog of my own, so I treat every pet I care for like family. I’m calm, observant, and dependable, and I’m especially comfortable with routines, special instructions, and pets who need a little extra care or reassurance. Whether it’s walks, overnight stays, or drop-ins, your dog will be safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. As a nurse, I work three 12-hour shifts per week, which gives me several full days off where I’m completely available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care.I plan my schedule carefully and only accept bookings I can fully commit to, so your pet will always get consistent attention, exercise, and care. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and communicate clearly so you always know your pet is in good hands. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or yours. As a nurse, I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and trained to notice subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. I carefully follow all routines and instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications, leash preferences, and house rules. In a client’s home, I respect your space and keep your pet’s environment clean, calm, and familiar. In my home, pets are supervised, never left unattended for long periods, and kept in a secure, comfortable setting. I use leashes at all times outdoors unless otherwise instructed and avoid dog parks unless explicitly approved. I prioritize clear communication and will provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.
“Thank you Diane for taking such great care of my dog. Charlie is a skittish miniature poodle mix that does not connect with everyone. Diane made her feel at home and sent pictures. I would definitely recommend Diane and we will be using her again.”

“Always lovely to have our Charlotte to stay with Lea & Luna + Copper!!! She always get the best care and best friends!!!! So much love & so much fun, we will definitely come back!!!”

“Alyssa was phenomenal! My dog can be a bit energetic (understatement…) upon meeting new people, but Alyssa stayed super calm while my dog ran in circles around her house until she finally wore herself out. Alyssa was kind and gracious and sent lots of pictures and loved on my crazy pup like she was her own! I truly cannot recommend her enough!”

“Kathy, her husband Gabe and pup Jasper were so great! Our pup Lou can be shy and they made him feel comfortable and loved. Kathy was super communicative and was wonderful to work with.”

“Connie was amazing with sassy she kept us informed of how sassy was settling in and she sent pictures daily. She took her own walks, gave medication if needed and sassy felt immediately safe with her. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Had everything packed up when it was time for us to pick her up.”

“Leigh Ann and her family took great care of my pup! I was nervous, as it was my first time leaving him with someone other than family, but she treated him like her own! I will definitely rebook with her.”
“Natalie was very responsive and easy to work with. She and Diesel kept Zeus entertained and he came home ready to pass out from all the fun. Zeus can be needy and Natalie did a great job helping him adjust to his new environment. I'll definitely be using her again in the future.”

“Fran was so awesome. She babysat my little gremlin Grub while I went overseas. I don’t live in Charleston; it was just the city I happened to be flying out of and I was so worried about who could look after my dog in a place where I didn’t have any friends or family. I found Fran on rover and couldn’t be happier! Her home is so sweet and comfy, with beautiful, well-maintained grounds for safe dog walks all around it. Fran was a joy to talk to and work with; she did an excellent job of keeping up communication throughout my travels, despite some technical issues on my end. I could tell my pup was treated like Fran’s own baby during her stay and I am so grateful 🥰”

“Lunas stay at Caitlin’s was great! She had a blast with Chloe and was so cared for while we were out of town! Caitlin sent updates and pictures every day and I know Luna was in good hands!! Thanks for taking such good care of my girl.”

“Daphne has been amazing each time booking her! She goes out of her way to sweep and take care of the plants without me even asking. She even went to get my sweet kitty more of her favorite treats when I didn’t buy enough! She is great!”

“Katrina cared for my senior cat for the first time recently while we were away for a long weekend. Meeting her before our trip was such a joy! She was thorough, attentive to detail, and so easy to communicate with. My cat is shy with others and can be difficult at times to eat meals/take her medicine while we are away, however I could tell that Katrina truly cared and would put in extra effort to ensure Nona was taken care of. We would love to utilize Katrina's services again if the need arises and I would recommend her if you are considering her. Thank you, Katrina!”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I can remember. When I was in elementary school, my mom and I created our own business cards for pet sitting and distributed them to our neighbors. Ever since then, I have been walking, boarding, and caring for animals regularly. Additionally, I have volunteered at local animal shelters and worked as a pet care technician at a dog daycare. I also take care of my lovely dog Rosie every day :) My schedule is very flexible, and I am currently available any day of the week. I can accommodate most pet care plans, including holiday and nighttime visits. I treat all animals with respect and love. I make sure to be very attentive to an animal's needs and emotions, meaning I give them their space if they appear nervous or unsure, but also give them lots of love and attention if they are comfortable. When going on walks, the temperature outside and on the pavement is always taken into consideration, as well as the dog's comfort level with walking and being outside. My own dog gets very nervous being outside, so I understand how overwhelming even the smallest things can be for an animal. Overall, I can assure you that your pet will be treated like family, and I will make sure they are well taken care of while you are away.
“Kelsey took care of our 2 cats while we were gone. She went above and beyond tidying up their mess and sweeping the floors around the litter boxes. One of our cats is elderly and has digestive issues so there was a lot to clean up and she did an amazing job checking in on them. She sent detailed reports and pictures every day and was communicative, responsive, and prompt. Both of our cats seemed very well taken care of and happy when we got home. Thank you Kelsey!”

“Robin is awesome!!! I could tell from the first time meeting her that she loves pets. She's so friendly, easy to work with and dependable. My cat warmed up to her quickly. I highly recommend her services!”

“Kristelyn did a great job with Smores. Smores was happy when we returned, and she didn't seem upset that we we away since Kristelyn provided great companionship in our absence. Thank you, Kristelyn.”

About: I also have experience caring for cats of all ages and personalities, having grown up around them as well as fostering kittens with my family when I was younger. I understand how important it is to respect their space and routines, and I take a calm, gentle approach to help them feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s feeding, litter box care, playtime, or just quiet company, I adjust to each cat’s individual needs and personality!
“Margie went above and beyond during her twice a day home visits that I needed for my elderly cat. Margie sent many pictures, spent times him, and cleaned his especially not fun litter box, due to his age. Highly recommend!”

“Adare is fantastic! She takes great care of our cat, and it’s clear how much she genuinely cares. He loves her and we always feel completely at ease knowing he’s in such good hands.”

“Richard as a life savior for me! We had a trip planned for a year. Our house was a total disaster because remodeling was underway. I have a large group of cats and the care is above average. Because Richard sent me photos and maintained the cleaning , i was able to enjoy my vacation despite the chaos of the remodeling and leaving my cats. THANK YOU RICHARD!!!”

“This was Caroline’s second time taking care of Percy. She is great! Very communicative and sends pictures and videos after each visit. We know she will take great care of Percy.”

“We had a great experience with Sarah checking in on our cat while we were out of town! She was very communicative and clearly a good caregiver! We would recommend her to anyone”

“Lydia did a great job housesitting and caring for my elderly cat. She sent me pictures. It was apparent my cat was receiving some wonderful attention and was very comfortable with Lydia. She also left my home in wonderful condition. I definitely will seek Lydia’s care, again!”

“Kilee did a great job with my dog Oreo! She spent more than 30 minutes each time she dropped in to spend time with him and make sure all of his needs were met. She was very communicative and shared pictures with me. I look forward to reaching out to Kilee in the future any time I need help with Oreo!”

“Jenn was an amazing sitter. She was always there on time and provided the care and love for our cat when we were out of town. She communicated and shared photos which allowed us to not worry about our kitty when we were away. It was the first time we used a cat sitter and it worked out perfectly. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Maura was a wonderful sitter for my kitty. She’s caring, knowledgeable and reliable. Maura did everything I asked for and more! She took the time to help my shy cat out of her shell and gave her the attention she needed. Maura absolutely gave me peace of mind while away. Glad I found I found her!”

“Here’s a polished review you can use: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Dog Sitter! I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received. From the very beginning, she was professional, reliable, and genuinely caring. My dog was comfortable, happy, and well cared for while we were at dinner, which gave me complete peace of mind. I appreciated the regular updates, photos, and communication throughout the stay. It was clear that my dog received plenty of attention and affection. I returned home to a relaxed and happy dog. I highly recommend Carla to anyone looking for trustworthy, loving care for their furry family member. I will definitely book with her again! 🐾💙”

“Lucy had a nice visit and great play time with Maverick. Morgan is very flexible with drop off and pick up time when we visit Charleston and need some doggie daycare while we visit downtown. I highly recommend her for your pup.”

“Paul was incredible and we’ll be definitely using him again, the very next time we need a dog sitter needs in CHS. He was very accommodating, took my doodle on the best walks, and hosted him so well with treats! I can immediately tell if my dog feels comfortable and knew he did without question with Paul! Can’t thank him enough for the positive experience 🥰”

About: Hi! I'm Rachel, a recent College of Charleston graduate with a B.A. in psychology. I have spent the last 16 years raising and caring for dogs. Animals have always been a significant part of my life, as my family dog even helped me take my first steps. I started dog sitting in my neighborhood when I was 10 years old and haven't stopped since. One neighbor invited me over every Tuesday to meet her new foster puppy of the week, which is how I adopted my first puppy, Rocky. During my senior year of high school, I got my second dog, Sadie, who has taught me as much as I have taught her. My experience extends beyond my pets, as friends and family come to me for help with training their new puppies and to take care of their pets while they are away. Whether you have a playful puppy or a sweet senior, I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages. If you're looking for a sitter who truly understands dogs and will love your pet as if they were my own, I’d love to help! I am currently looking for job opportunities so my schedule is wide open. Let me know what works best for you and your pet, and I will be happy to accommodate your needs. I live in a two-bedroom condo with my 9y/o dog Sadie, who loves having new friends around. I also have a neighborhood dog park just a short walk away, where I take her to run around and get her energy out. We also have lots of great walking paths and parks around us to explore. Whether your dog stays with me or I care for them in your home, I can follow your routines and will prioritize their safety and comfort above all else.
“Jessica was great! She took on our Rosie last minute and gave her lots of love and attention. She also sent us photos and video updates throughout the day. We knew she would love her when she accepted treats from her right when she met Jessica. She never does that.”

“Tamara and Steven were wonderful with Lucy and took such great care of here!! They kept us updated on how she was doing and treated her like their own, would love to book again with them in the future.”

About: I have a friendly, easy going labradoodle (not high energy) who would love to have a friend around. The yard is fenced in, I work from home, and we typically go on 3-4 walks a day. On a good weather day we’ll drive 5 minutes to IOP and have a beach walk. Your dog would get the exact same care I give mine. They can play all day inside and sleep where they want. Work from home Monday through Friday 9-5 but take plenty of breaks to go outside for walks or play fetch. At night I’m mostly chilling so hopefully your dog likes Netflix! I have a fenced in yard big enough for them to exhaust themselves if they want. If not, the daily walks should cover that. And I’m open to crating them at night or letting them sleep on the couch/bed if they’re comfortable.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my happy and positive attitude: no one wants a grumpy, pessimistic pet sitter. I am adaptable as I am always prepared for unplanned events and last-minute changes. As I am a caretaker by nature, I show genuine concern for the well-being of pets. I am responsible and trustworthy by being reliable and honest. I have a wealth of pet sitting experience. I also have experience working with pets that have medical issues or behavioral challenges. And lastly, I am sensitive and understanding. I understand the needs and concerns of pet owners. I have plenty of time to play and care for your dog/dogs, as I work from home! Plus, I spent all holidays here at my lovely residence on Daniel Island. I treat all dogs that I care for as I treat my own fur baby, as if they were my children. I ensure that they are walked, fed, entertained, given medication as needed, and have restful sleep each evening (whether it is with me in bed, in their pet bed, or in their crate) every day. People have a tendency of saying that my dog Maggie is always smiling! I will ensure that yours will too when in my care!!

“Natasha kept our fur boy, Sully, for a day during a stifling heatwave. She gave him a morning walk before the outdoor temps became elevated then kept him indoors with potty breaks in her yard. All was well when we picked him up. Will consider using her services for future daycare. Thank you Natasha!”

“Cannot say enough good things! Leigh Ann was so prompt with responding and helped me out with dog-sitting when I was in a bind. Her and her family are so sweet and took such great care of my fur baby- I know she had so much fun based on how pooped out she is now! Would 100% recommend and use again!”

“My dog stayed with Jessica for 5 days and although I hated to leave him, Jessica’s daily comments, pictures, and videos reassured me that he was in good hands. I would certainly book with her again and highly recommend her to friends.”

“Great couple with perfect fenced back yard and neighborhood with loads of kids who love dogs! Kimberly and Dylan were wonderful sitters for Ebony. She had so much fun!!”

“They took such good care of our pooch who enjoyed her stay and had comfy places to snuggle. They were also very communicative and flexible and we appreciate the pictures. Thank you!”

“This was our second time having Tyler keep our dog, and she seemed comfortable there. Tyler is great about communicating. He also works from home so he is there most of the time, if not all the time. We will definitely request Tyler again when we go out of town.”

“Kelly is so sweet and caring. Your pets will be in great hands with her. The only thing is that they may just want to live with her because they had such a lovely time! Haha. This is my second time leaving my dog with her and I highly recommend Kelly.”
