About: Hi! I’m an experienced dog lover with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Growing up in a family full of dogs, I’ve been around them my entire life and understand how to meet each pup’s unique needs. I’m dependable, patient, and focused on making every walk safe, enjoyable, and tailored to your dog’s personality. I’ll treat your dog like part of my own family! Dog walking fits naturally into my day. I enjoy being active and make time in my schedule to give each dog a safe, fun, and consistent walk. I’m available for walks Mon-Fri after 6pm & all day Sat-Sun! During walks, I treat every dog like my own. I follow your routine and preferences, make sure your dog feels comfortable on their leash, and tailor the walk to their energy level. Whether it’s a slower stroll or a more active walk, I focus on keeping them safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: Hi! I’m a big animal lover and have been around dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up helping train service dogs for my mom, so I learned early on about patience, consistency, and understanding how dogs think and communicate. My family also had cats and fostered kittens when I was younger, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and personalities. I also spent years pet sitting for neighbors growing up, which gave me even more experience caring for different animals and routines. In college, I volunteered with 4 Paws for Ability, where I helped work with service dogs in training and took part in hands-on trainings and education sessions. It was such a rewarding experience and deepened my love for working with animals. I’m currently finishing up grad school and will have a very flexible schedule while I study for my board exam, which means I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I haven’t been able to have a pet of my own while in school, so I’ve really missed being around animals, which is a big part of why I’m excited to be on Rover and spend time caring for yours! Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your pets like my own. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet with someone, and I’d love to help make that an easy, stress-free experience for you. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I currently have a very flexible schedule as I finish up grad school and prepare for my board exam. This gives me plenty of availability during weekdays and weekends to provide consistent care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or extended time with your pets. I’m able to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs and make sure they get reliable, attentive care! When caring for pets in your home, I will focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I will follow instructions closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or any specific needs your pet has. I aim to provide a calm, loving presence so your pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away, and I always treat homes with respect and care!
“We were lucky enough to secure Mary once again to take care of our fur baby while we took a quick weekend away. She’s always so accommodating to any request we might have and the communication is always top tier. She’s been our go to for pet care for extended vacations ever since we moved to Long Beach.”

About: Since childhood, I’ve always had a dog. I am very familiar with and LOVE senior pets. I love dogs of all ages and breeds. Because I have a flexible job, I have much more time to be with your animal, walk him/her and be outside in the fenced porch relaxing! Your dog will be just like me own, taken care of and loved. Time is all we have with our precious ones and I’m excited to meet yours! I am a personal fitness coach and studio owner so I start and end early. I have breaks between clients so my schedule allows me to be around much more than others. I work from home on camera or at the studio 2 miles away so I am always close. Most afternoons I am done at 1p and have the rest of the day with your pup. I do not work weekends at all and spend most weekends dedicated to my dog and the outdoors. Pets are loved on in my home. I allow them on the bed and couch if the owner is okay with that. I follow whatever parameters the pet parent gives me and apply tons of love. I have an inviting home and a lovely back fenced in patio. I also have a peaceful and safe neighborhood to walk dogs in. Your dog won’t be left alone on the weekends for more than an hour.
“Kierstin was awesome watching my cats! She sent lots of pics while I was gone which I greatly appreciated and was always very timely with her responses. Highly recommended and would use her again as a sitter!”

About: I have grown up with pets my whole life and have a big passion for the safety and well being of all animals. I am friendly, reliable and understand that all dogs have different needs. I am happy to call and introduce myself prior, I look forward to meeting you and your pup(s)! My job is flexible since I make my own schedule majority of the time. I am happy to come over to walk your dog, play with them, give them cuddles or just check on their food/water. About: I’ve taken care of furry friends of all types since I was around 10 years old. I’ve also been a long time dog owner and trusted pet sitter for many years. I’m earning my bachelors degree in biology and love caring for the animals who make our lives so much better. I am pretty flexible with my schedule. Dog walking can be at any time of day between 6am and 8pm. Pet sitting visits that do not require me to stay over can be between 6am and 10pm. I am happy to comply with any of the guidelines or accommodations you and your pets have. Our pets deserve the best and I wouldn’t expect anything less from their sitter/walker.
About: I have had the responsibility of taking care of dogs since I was 6. Always had a dog in the house growing up. I have been asked to take care of dogs of family and friends. Whether it be housing their dogs, checking in and walking, or staying at their place to care for their pets. I do work M-F locally full time. I am able to go home at lunch time during the weekdays to walk and take care of your pet. Weekends I am off and available any time. I live in an apartment complex that has a completely fenced in dog park. I own a medium size dog who is relaxed, but playful and good with every dog he has ever met. On weekend I take my dog to the larger fenced in dog parks in the area for him to run around. I usually walk my dog 4 times a day. Once in the morning, once at lunch, and 2-3 times in the afternoon/night.

“"The only complaint that I have about Jess is that my dogs just may love her more than they love me! Upon meeting Jess, her sweet and calm demeanor put us all at ease and I felt an instant connection with her. She took EXCELLENT care of my three Yorkies. She provided each of them with love & individualized care. I would not hesitate to hire her again and I would highly recommend her to anybody for pet sitting! We have used Jess multiple times through Rover since this initial review. My Yorkies are always happy to welcome her back into their pack when they see her. She offers thorough updates with photos….and, I never have to worry about my babies or Jess being inside of our home. She is so clean!!!! I lover her!!!! XOXOXO 🐾 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Sullivans Island with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
