***I always like to schedule a meet and greet with pets and pet parents before booking. This makes it very difficult to book the same day that you'd like your walk or visit if we haven't met before. There is no charge for the meet and greet. It gives me an opportunity to answer any questions and make sure its a good fit for all of us. It's important to make that everyone is comfortable working together. For this reason, I request not to book the same day that you want the walk or visit unless we have worked together before.
A typical day
Is there anywhere special you'd like me to walk your dog in the neighborhood? Does your dog or cat have any special toys or treats? Some dogs love to play with balls or be brushed on their visits. I will be a great companion to your pets when you need one.

I have many years of experience as a dog walker and pet sitter. I have worked with all breeds and kinds of dogs and cats, from energetic and playful to senior, rescues and pets with special needs. Every dog and cat has a unique personality and I enjoy meeting and working with new dogs and cats all the time. I will be a loving and reliable companion to your pets when you aren't available. I am very responsible and reliable. I have sought out several certifications to test my skills and experience, and to make sure I am providing the highest level of care. I am a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider (CPACP) with PACCC (Professional Animal Care Certification Council), and I am a Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) with Pet Sitters International (PSI). I have a Certificate of Completion of Cat and Dog First Aid including CPR. I also am a Fear Free Certified Professional (Fear Free Elite), and I have a Certificate of Completion from the Fear Free Shelters Program. Their mission is to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress (FAS) in pets (both dogs and cats) by inspiring and educating the people who care for them. I am also certified by IBPSA as a Canine Care Specialist and a Feline Care Specialist. For almost two years, I volunteered walking dogs at the San Diego Humane Society for several hours each week. This gave me hands on experience with hundreds of wonderful dogs that I wouldn't have been able to work with otherwise. I also volunteered walking dogs and socializing puppies, cats, and kittens for over a year at Helen Woodward. I was a Red level dog handler-requiring the highest level of skills on their yellow, orange and red scale. I treat all animals with love and respect as if they were my own. I have gone through dog training with many dogs and am actively training my dog, Roxy, for American Kennel Club Good Canine Citizenship certification through positive reinforcement.
