“Nadaia gave A++++ service. I am so glad that she was able to help out. This was our first time working with her and she was excellent! She played with Rica and walked her just as asked. We could not be more happy with her service. 10/10 would recommend!!”

“Carolynn was great with Goldie! I have trouble finding a walker that can handle both her strength and energy. Carolynn helped me out with feeding her as well! I will be using Carolynn again in the future!”
“This was our second time having Shiran sit for our dog, and we were again really impressed with her excellent care and communication. She was even very flexible when we needed to switch the timing of her visits on two different days.”
“Jennifer was excellent! She came through when I needed help with my dog on very short notice. She arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and stayed a little over to finish my dog's walk. She had read my pup's profile ahead of time and was fully prepared to handle her special needs, which I appreciated. My Remi returned from her walk happy and tired, which is exactly what she (and I) needed. I won't hesitate to use Jennifer again.”

“Kristina was quick to respond and gave us a thorough update after walking Vegas. We knew she was in good hands and highly recommend Kristina! We’ll use her again for sure.”

“Morgan has been so amazing with our girl. We’ve used her for the last few years and she is always so dependable and very communicative. She is the best person we’ve ever had take care of our dog. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Samantha is a gem! We are so happy we found her. Samantha was very careful to get all the information she needed to take the best care of our pups. We appreciate her being flexible, dependable and great communicator!”

“Rachel did great walking my older husky and pit bull twice daily for weeks. I highly recommend her for her kindness, responsiveness, reliability, and adaptability.”

About: Life long dog lover who looks forward to befriending your furry loved one. We live in a townhome with a 2 year old golden retriever, Cheddar. I work a full time job 100% remote from my home so I have the flexibility to tailor my days to whatever your dog needs. I like for my dog to feel like this is her home too. She has her own spaces throughout the house and knows which areas are hers.
About: I've taken care of my dog for 8 years, walking, feeding, and many more activities that we did together. Dogs have always been something I care a lot for and wish to be able to to the same with your dog/dogs. I am currently working part-time and I am working in the morning, getting off of work around 1, therefore I am free in the afternoon to take care of your pet. I am not available on Tuesday afternoon, Friday afternoon, and Saturday, Sunday is a bit hectic but I can possibly make space for emergencies. Drop in, I can provide your pet with food, take them out to use the restroom, clean up after them, clean their bowls, whatever the pet needs for the drop in I could do. The walking service, I can give them and hour to two hour walk, of course clean up after them, I can give them their water when they need it, and of course in this summer heat give a nice cold treat at the end of the walk. I am open to giving the pet the medications it needs, if you as the owner would teach and allow me to do so.
“Very grateful to Molly for her care of my sweet boy! She was very responsive to my messages and came early for a meet and great. She made sure to send pictures and give me updates. Thank you Molly!”

About: I would foster and adopt all the fur babies if I could! I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats of different ages since childhood. Friends, families, neighbors, and acquaintances have trusted me to care for their pets as if they were my own. I rescued my own cat from a shelter and moved across the country with her, then later was a foster fail for a 3 week old rescue puppy, he’s now a 60lb lab-Pitt mix and he and my cat are the best of friends I am currently working Friday-Monday downtown Charleston and have a flexible schedule Tuesday-Thursday when I am not teaching yoga classes in downtown Charleston. I have flexibility earlier on Monday mornings as well. I have 2 friendly dogs and cat (who thinks she is a dog) who get along very well with any dog I’ve introduced them to, a large fenced-in dog park in the neighborhood I live in, can crate dogs if needed as well
“Madelyn was great! She took great care of Bodi and sent me Rover cards with pictures everyday. She was very quick to respond to my texts and I felt at ease knowing my dog was in good hands.”
About: Growing up we always had a family dog(s) and when I wasn't caring for my own pups, I was helping watch pups of friends and neighbors! I work from home, so your pups will always be attended to! Because of my work from home schedule, I am open to same day appointments. I believe in always having safety precautions to ensure the pups don't get into trouble such as putting away hazards including things on the floor/counters.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Charleston
Connor was great with Ellie and Tripp, he was always on time, polite, and easy to communicate with. He took them on happy lunch walks and both dogs clearly enjoyed their time with him. We appreciated the updates and photos he sent. I’ll definitely book him again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
