About: Hey! I’m Hunter! I’ve always loved animals, and I’ve spent the last 3 years working at a humane society, as well as some time working at a doggy daycare. So I’ve gotten to meet (and clean up after) just about every kind of dog/cat personality. I’m pretty laid-back, reliable, and I genuinely enjoy hanging out with animals. Whether your dog wants to run around and play, go for a walk, or just chill on the couch, I’m happy to do whatever they’re comfortable with. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone, so I’ll treat them like they’re my own and keep you updated while you’re away! 🐶🐱 I have completely open availability. I am able to work with any schedule. Whatever your pet needs, I can provide it. I enjoy making animals my priority! I want every pet to feel comfortable and safe while they’re with me. I’ll take the time to get to know their personality, routine, and any specific needs before I start caring for them. I’m also happy to follow your usual routines as closely as possible, whether that means walks, feeding schedules, medications, playtime, or just giving them some extra attention.

About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 20 years and currently have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who are a huge part of my family. I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’m dependable, attentive, and happy to follow your pet’s routine exactly as requested. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, medication, or simply providing companionship, I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own. I work from home, which gives me flexibility and allows me to provide reliable, consistent care and updates so you can have peace of mind. I work from home full-time, which gives me flexibility to provide dependable pet care throughout the day. I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walks, and pet sitting before work, during lunch, after work, and on most weekends. I’ll always communicate clearly, arrive on time, and send updates with photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands while you’re away. I have two friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who love meeting other dogs. My goal is to provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where every pet feels at home. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, medications, exercise, and routines, and I always prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort. I believe communication is important, so you’ll receive regular updates and photos throughout your pet’s stay. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family.

“Prompt, professional, affable, and really good with dogs! She met with us the day before the first appointment to meet our shy puppy and they got along great. Would not hesitant to work with her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of many kinds of dogs ever since I was 14. My neighbors, friends, and roommates have relied on me to take them on walks, feed them, and play with them. At my previous job I trained border collies and as well as some dogs at home. I’m currently full time, but I have a set morning and night schedule that I can easily work around to be able to care for your pets! I am also free to stay overnight as well. While I cannot offer to care for your pets in my home, I can easily care for them at your home by allowing them to see that I am a safe and friendly person. Each pet is differently and so I like to let them decide if they trust me and to read and determine what their behavior means. You know your pets best and I will make sure to adapt to the training you have set in place!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hanahan
Katrina walks my puppy every week, and she’s been wonderful! She’s always on time, sends thoughtful updates so I know how my girl is doing while I’m at work, and truly goes the extra mile – whether it’s cleaning up little messes, making sure she has fresh water and treats, or spending time playing with her. It gives me peace of mind knowing my puppy is in such good hands.

Connor was great with Ellie and Tripp, he was always on time, polite, and easy to communicate with. He took them on happy lunch walks and both dogs clearly enjoyed their time with him. We appreciated the updates and photos he sent. I’ll definitely book him again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
