About: With years of professional dog walking and sitting experience, I’ve cared for all manner of canines. I can handle puppies as well as senior citizens and love spending time with them giving love and getting exercise. I work from home with a flexible schedule so am able to leave periodically throughout the day to care for pets. Please be aware prior to booking that my daughter (10 months old as of April 2025) comes with me on my walks and drop ins. She rides in a backpack carrier and does not come out of it, but only request a booking with me if you and your pet and comfortable with that. I have been entrusted with clients’ homes for years and am confident and able to abide by your requests and needs. I act with respect when allowed access to a client’s home and take care to honor their wishes regarding their animals and household.

“Sydney did a wonderful job. Kiwi loves her. I will definitely use her again.”

“Jennifer was by far more than a dog walker. She is a member of our ‘pack’. In the short time she was continuously walking our dogs, she taught them (and us) how to be better behaved dogs and how we can continue that behavior. We will be using her services in the future and I wish she was moving with us to our new home! I can’t thank her enough for all she’s done for our pack!!”

“Amaris was a great! She communicated well with me and took the time to provide me with updates. Echo was happy and seemed to enjoy herself around her.”

About: Dedicated Dog Care Expert – With decades of hands-on experience, I offer compassionate, skilled care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve worked as a kennel manager, animal care specialist, and groomer, with vet tech training and medical experience—including administering insulin and meds, senior dog care, and support for brachycephalic breeds. I’m highly active, love long walks (miles, if your pup’s up for it!), and have trained both puppies and reactive dogs. From playful pups to special-needs seniors, your dog will be in experienced, loving hands. I am available all day, every day. During these hot summer days, I will not be providing long walks during the hours of 12-4. Potty breaks only with this heat! This is to protect your animals. I adjust any care to what the client wants/needs. You are the parent, you know what is best for your animal. I’m deeply committed to the physical and mental well-being of all animals in my care. My dog enjoys regular walks, active play, and consistent mental stimulation through engaging activities. My cat, a brachycephalic breed, benefits from safe outdoor enrichment like screen porch time, along with interactive play to keep him mentally sharp. As the owner of a dog with epilepsy, I’m attentive to her specific health needs and know how to monitor for signs and triggers. I also care for several aquariums and a tortoise, maintaining naturalistic environments and daily routines to ensure their health and comfort. Providing attentive, individualized care is at the heart of everything I do.

“Megan was amazing! My pup loved her. She took great pictures and sent them to me daily, which made my kids so happy. I would hire her again for sure.”

“Took amazing care of our baby! And on short notice! Thankyou so much!”

About: Communication hours for new requests are 8am-8pm. If dates are blocked out on our calendar, we are not only unavailable to provide services, but unavailable to review requests as well. We welcome meet and greets anytime even if you're not planning to book for a while. If we have already met you and your pet(s) we are more apt to be available should you have a last minute booking request. If we have not met you and your pet(s), please understand lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on our part :). We now offer leash training (loose leash walking) for a nominal fee! ------------------------------------------- ***𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤*** ------------------------------------------- - We practice active attention to understand the ins and outs of their individual unique personality for a personalized experience - We understand the extra care and attention needed with disabilities and medical conditions requiring medications and prioritize those requirements without a second thought - Breeds are less important than how a dog is raised, as how a dog is raised is a reflection of yourself too :). We like to mesh well with the doggies and the owners in how we run our business. - We do not ask or expect anything we cannot or are not willing to do ourselves and seek that in return, with that, your pets must be updated on vaccinations/ shots/ prevention just as mine is ------------------------------------------- ***Drop-ins/walking*** ------------------------------------------- - We are not the sitter for you if requests are made for more than 2 consecutive days while you're out of town. Our ethics prevent us from allowing doggies to have such limited interaction - If you do not need the full half hour we can work around that pricing as sometimes doggies just need to be let out just to do what they've gotta do and some kitties, or should I say most, definitely do not want to be entertained for a half hour ha - Videos of lock up showing everything is safe and sound are always included ------------------------------------------- ***House-sitting*** ------------------------------------------- - We are not the sitter for you if my dog cannot come with me. It is like doing work for free if i need to board him somewhere else during that time (unless you'd like to pay for that of course) ------------------------------------------- Answer to schedule ------------------------------------------- - We honor the times reserved as our commitment to you - For house sitting we're there full time. Note that full time does not necessarily mean 24/7 just as your full time job is not 24/7 :) (unless you're intending to pay an hourly rate). ------------------------------------------- Answer to safety, trust, environment ------------------------------------------- Doors are always kept locked We take these opportunities seriously having your pets in our care so help us help you as we make sure safety, trust, and environment is mutual. You're our client and we are here to serve so we want to know what would make you feel most at ease for complete satisfaction and what would make your pet (and you) the most happy! We solely do this for a positive experience for all.

About: A veterinary technician since 2017, I will take care of your pet with compassion and competence. I currently work three days a week at a veterinary urgent care, and I previously worked at a 24-hour emergency hospital. I can give medications - including insulin - and perform CPR. I am trained to know if there's a problem with your pet before a larger issue arises. I am a licensed veterinary technician with a veterinary technology degree from Trident Technical College. My husband also works at an animal hospital, and he takes very good care of dogs who are boarding with us. Boarding: On occasion and with your permission, your pet may come to work with me. For this reason, I only board dogs that are comfortable in a crate. If your dog is fearful of the vet, this could be a perfect opportunity to have some happy vet visits, so that they are more comfortable for future vet visits. :) Your pet must also be up to date on vaccines and flea & tick prevention. Drop-in Visits: This is a visit to your home ranging from 30-60 minutes. This visit can include feedings, playtime, and outside time. I also offer subcutaneous fluid/medication administration*, glucose sensor placement*, and anal gland expressions for an extra fee. Pick-up/Drop-off: I will pick up or drop off your pet while boarding for an extra fee. (This service is for the Summerville, Moncks Corner, North Charleston areas only). I also foster with a local rescue when I am not boarding. My yard and house are fully sanitized between all animals. Find me on Facebook: The Pet Nanny in Summerville, SC & Let me know if you have any questions!! I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you! *These services require a veterinarian's approval. Monday & Tuesday: I work these days in the afternoon/evening, so I am only available for drop-ins and walks in the morning. Saturday: Boarding Only My calendar is updated regularly. If there is a special request let me know and I may be able to accommodate. Boarding: I have a fenced in yard and screened-in patio. I live in a small house so I can only accommodate up to three small dogs or two medium sized dogs from one client at a time. My two dogs are very laid-back senior couch potatoes. They keep to themselves and on occasion will be playful but overall are very lazy. :) I have two small crates that fit up to a 30lb dog. Any larger dogs will need their own crate. The dogs usually sleep either on dog beds, human beds, or are kept in a crate at night. There are four steps to climb up to go into the house from outside. There are no stairs inside the house. Feedings for adult dogs are at 9am and 9pm unless otherwise requested from you.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats all my life so caring for them comes to me naturally. I am very patient, even when it comes to very eager dogs. Friends and family have trusted me for years to take good care of their fur babies and I have always delivered! I am currently an all online university student, so I’ve acquired a lot more free time! I am available all day everyday and am a very flexible! I currently have two dogs, a young golden doodle and an old shelter dog, so I’m well aware of how to care for a wide range of dogs. I would say I’m very intuitive with animals and quickly learn what they like and don’t like. Also when I am given a list for care I follow it to a tee!

About: I want to take care your fur babies as if they were my own! I just left my little cockapoo in New York and I’m already missing her bunches. I just moved here and i love our neighborhood. i have already explored the area. I love playing with dogs! I am unemployed and I can be home with the pups! I will care for them like my own dog. Keep them safe and take them on walks. I live in a safe neighborhood to walk dogs and have a fenced in yard with pest control taking care of anything dangerous to the pets.

About: I’ve always had a love of animals. I wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I could remember; however, life had other plans. Caring for animals is still a passion of mine but in a different field. I’ve been caring for and watching over pets for about 12 years privately. My experience ranges from puppies to our beloved senior pets as well as exotics. I am very flexible with scheduling! I will always do my best to fit you and your pets into my busy and ever growing booming calendar! I love spending time playing, walking and cuddling with all fur babies. I have experience in caring for working/retired K-9s as well as aggressive/bite prone breeds! I also have experience in administering medicine in pill and liquid forms, not shots. So have no fear! Your pets and I are always safe in each others company! I’m looking to expand and receive my dog training license.

Our dog had a great time on walkies with Maggie! We are already looking to book again when we need it!

I recently had the pleasure of using Brittney as a dog sitter, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment I met her it was clear that she genuinely love animals and is extremely responsible. She took the time to get to know my dog’s personality and routine, ensuring that everything would be familiar and comfortable while I was away. Throughout the time I was gone, Brittney provided regular updates with photos and messages, which gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in such good hands. I must admit I was a little hesitant after Susan’s review but after the amazing service I received i believe that is simply just a Karen trying to ruin this wonderful woman’s reputation. I’ll definitely be using Brittney’s service again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch sitter.
