About: I’ve grown up rescuing dogs and cats while also consistently volunteering at various animals shelters. I’ve been a pet sitter for a while! I’m currently waiting until the fall to start my job and will be working part time as a personal trainer until then giving me lots of availability and flexibility to take care of your pets! I’m very understanding of different pets needs and rules that you may have for your pet and can be very flexible to make sure that your pet is perfectly cared for!
“Calleigh did a great job walking my two big dogs and even sent a picture. She was really nice about my schedule changes and worked around my schedule. I will definitely book Calleigh's services again!”

“G (Sangram) is great! From the moment we met, it was clear that he had a genuine love for dogs. I highly recommend G to anyone looking for a trustworthy and enthusiastic dog walker! Will definitely book again!”

About: I’m not a professional trainer, but I’ve watched dogs of all sizes and take outside time and potty breaks seriously — your dog won’t be left waiting. I’m good at reading dog body language and careful not to put them in situations that could escalate, whether that’s around other dogs or unfamiliar people. I’m also patient with puppies and comfortable with their extra energy and training needs. Your dog will get consistent care and my full attention. I’m currently pursuing a meal prep hustle, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time at home, perfect for attentive, consistent pet care. I’m not tied to a 9-5, so I can accommodate midday potty breaks, longer visits, or last-minute needs without any scheduling conflicts. Your pet gets someone who’s actually around and available, not squeezing in visits between meetings. I live in a house downtown with an unfenced yard, so for dog walks and potty breaks I’m always right there with them on leash to keep them safe. My own cat is very friendly and comfortable around dogs. If I’m caring for other cats, I prefer to house sit at the client’s home so there’s no risk of conflict or stress for either cat. Whatever the service, your pet gets a safe, calm environment and my full attention.
“Relada was absolutely amazing! We were visiting from out of town and needed someone to walk and watch our pups so we could have a nice dinner out. About: I have been a dog and cat owner and sitter since I was very young. Neighbors and friends have been able to rely on me to walk, feed, and pick up after their pets. I love spending time with animals and hope to provide a bright and loving environment for your fur babies! I work full-time on Daniel Island so drop-in visits or walks outside of work hours might work best! Happy to pop in at lunch time if the commute isn't too far as well! Would love to do what I can to make your pet comfortable with a new person in their space. Happy to meet with you before booking and take your pets' lead!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Charleston
Bryan was exceptionally kind, patient, super caring, and every other positive thing that I could wish for. Maisie & Emmie have trauma histories, with currently differing levels of reactivity. Maisie went right to Bryan for head pats! Bryan patiently waited to go Emmie's pace. Within 1 visit, he was lounging against Bryan while receiving genuinely loving belly rubs, as Bryan used his other arm to throw the ball. It was miraculous to see because E can take a while to warm. I am absolutely overjoyed with Bryan's services, and we are so excited to have him come back!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
