About: I've had dogs in my life since I was a a child. I cared for my own dog when I turned 19. I had kida since she was a puppy and introduced her to pepper, my next dog, who is a rescue, 8 years later. Kida has now passed so its just me, pepper and her friend/ my roommates dog who I help care for when needed. I take them on walks frequently and pick up after them. I looked after and aided kida in potty training and basic training commands all they way to in her elder years. Always avaliable when you need me, even last minute and will always put all me effort in caring for your pet as if they were my own I am happy to accommodate for you pet any way I can, with adequate walks and feeding times when necessary, can provide basic medical treatment as need with either mixing it in food or oral syringe. Unfortunately my house is off limits to additional pets due to overcrowding. Happy to provide enrichment to you pet with plenty of walks and play time. Love tug of war and fetch, I can easily play for an hour straight with them, can be patient with more timid breeds and always try to make them as comfortable as possible. Will respect any and all boundaries set by the pet parent

About: Hi, I'm Kristin. I'm a corporate burnout empty nester new to the Charleston area. For the past several years I took care of dogs in my home and eventually opened "Casa Chihuahua," an in home boarding experience dedicated to the needs of old and special needs dogs. I have a special fondness for small, old and wonky dogs and currently travel with two rescue chihuas of my own. I have experience with geriatric and special needs dogs and I am committed to finding a routine that works for each dog’s unique needs. Larger dogs or those who require a lot of exercise might be a better fit with a more active provider. What I can’t provide in long hikes and fetch sessions I make up for with stroller rides, short beach walks, drive thru treats and snuggles under an electric blanket. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. My daily routine already incorporates meals, walks, car rides and and cuddles for my crew so I am used to daily care. My two chihuahuas come with me where I go - I'm essentially looking for dogs who might like to ride along with us. I have access to a fenced yard, a stroller, a sling, a dog-friendly car, pee pads, playpens, gates etc. Having cared for special needs dogs of my own (including one blind, one lame and one brain damaged) I am unfazed by accidents. My two chihuahuas are friendly and accustomed to meeting new dogs but we can adapt to boundaries and comfort levels as appropriate.

About: I have been looking after other’s pets since I began watching my neighbors’ dogs at eight years old. I take seriously the responsibility of watching another’s furry best friend, and find joy in meeting and caring for animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I work a 9 to 5 job with regular hours and am happy to help your pup with an early morning, mid day, or evening walk! I approach all pets with respect and follow the cues they give me about how much love and attention they want to give and receive. I try to make them as comfortable as possible while they are missing their human, and create a space where they can relax and have fun while they wait.
