“Stefani was wonderful and super helpful for our short weekend trip away. My kitties were well taken care of I appreciate her willingness to clean up after my one kitty who tends to have accidents outside the litter box. Thank you Stefani!!”

“Victoria was so wonderful, I was so worried about my cat who’s prone to accidents causing a big headache. She was very attentive and so willing to accommodate my anxious kitty. I can’t be more grateful!”

“Connor was so helpful taking care of my cats! He payed special attention to all of the instructions, medications, special prescription food, etc. He gave my cats cuddles & sent photos of them together. I definitely recommend!”

“Beth is 1000% amazing. She followed all of our instructions and did little extra things that we super appreciate. She made sure they had food and water, but she also spent time with them on the porch (their favorite spot). She also checked on the litter box for us and cleaned out their dirty wet food bowls so the house wouldn't smell like the stinky fish wet food our cats eat. The best part is the pictures that Beth takes. She made sure to capture them both and give us a quick update. We were thrilled that we could find someone we trust to check on our boys while we were out of town. We look forward to using her again.”

“Nadaia is reliable and flexible with making arrangements. She takes such good care of my cat and always sends photos of him to me while I'm away. I will definitely continue to ask her for help with cat sitting in the future!”

“Lindsey was great with my two cats. I was gone for over a week and was nervous about them being lonely and my apartment was having the roof repaired — she went above and beyond to make sure they were okay. 💗💗💗”

“Christine was a new-to-me sitter and accepted a relatively last-minute booking over the winter holidays for my rabbit and cat. Everything went perfectly, and the cat and bunny have no complaints (which is rather unusual when I’ve been gone awhile). I’m so grateful for your help, Christine!”

“Rayawna was great. She check in our cat, Christian, while we were on vacation for 3 weeks. We felt at ease knowing he was taken care of. She is very responsive and sent photos of Christian while we were away. Will definitely book again”

“Chloe was awesome! She took great care of our cat, always sent us cute pictures and was always on time. I appreciate her strong communication. You can tell she cared about Miss May. We will be booking again in the future! Highly recommend.”

“Jeremy is just so great with my animal. He is always responsive and communicates his time and schedule clearly so there are no surprises while I'm gone. He has even made himself available on short notice (which I hate to do but it sometimes happens) and I knew everything would go perfectly with him and my fur baby.”

“As a repeat customer of Averi's, I always know that my dog will be well taken care of. She is reliable, good at keeping me updated, and genuinely cares about my dog. Your pet will be in good hands with Averi. I will definitely continue to have her be my Rover go-to choice!”

About: I’ve taken care of many kinds of dogs ever since I was 14. My neighbors, friends, and roommates have relied on me to take them on walks, feed them, and play with them. At my previous job I trained border collies and as well as some dogs at home. I’m currently full time, but I have a set morning and night schedule that I can easily work around to be able to care for your pets! I am also free to stay overnight as well. While I cannot offer to care for your pets in my home, I can easily care for them at your home by allowing them to see that I am a safe and friendly person. Each pet is differently and so I like to let them decide if they trust me and to read and determine what their behavior means. You know your pets best and I will make sure to adapt to the training you have set in place!
About: I’ve have had a dog since I was 10 years old, i even got my own dog when I was in college(in the picture). After losing my own dog, I wanted to devote more of my time to other pets. Every pet I've cared for has received the same devotion and compassion as if they were my own. I no longer have any pets since my dog died. I currently work full time varying days. I usually work in the afternoon so that is plenty of free time to get your pet started off right for the day. I only live 8 minutes away from job so it is fairly easy to come home on a break, etc. While in my home or at a different home I respect the routines administered by the owners. Prefer to have detailed instructions to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible.
“Very personable! Went above and beyond to take care of my babies and sent me pics and videos along the way. Great with last minute accommodations. My first experience with a rover sitter wasn’t great and she really turned it around for me. Highly recommended and will definitely use her again!!”

Dorchester cat parents share their Rover experiences
Adele took care of my two cats for two weeks while I was out of the country. She communicated very well with me and sent lots of great pictures! My boys were calm and happy when I got back, which shows she did a great job making them comfortable and playing with them! If I go back out of town I will definitely reach out to Adele again!

Thank you so much for taking great care of Binx and Belle! It’s such a relief to not have to worry about pet care while on vacation, so we were fully able to enjoy ourselves. We loved looking at all the pictures she shared. Emily stopped by daily and took care of our cats by freshening food and water and cleaning up the liter box. We would absolutely book her again and can’t recommend enough!

Abbie was great! Being away would be great if I didn’t worry about Roxie. That worry quickly faded with Abbie. Everyday I received an update and pictures. When we returned home - while Roxie was glad to see us, she was clearly well cared for and comfortable (not overly needy). Abbie had given her all the attention she needed 🩷.
