About: I have been taking care of animals since I can remember. When I was in elementary school, my mom and I created our own business cards for pet sitting and distributed them to our neighbors. Ever since then, I have been walking, boarding, and caring for animals regularly. Additionally, I have volunteered at local animal shelters and worked as a pet care technician at a dog daycare. I also take care of my lovely dog Rosie every day :) My schedule is very flexible, and I am currently available any day of the week. I can accommodate most pet care plans, including holiday and nighttime visits. I treat all animals with respect and love. I make sure to be very attentive to an animal's needs and emotions, meaning I give them their space if they appear nervous or unsure, but also give them lots of love and attention if they are comfortable. When going on walks, the temperature outside and on the pavement is always taken into consideration, as well as the dog's comfort level with walking and being outside. My own dog gets very nervous being outside, so I understand how overwhelming even the smallest things can be for an animal. Overall, I can assure you that your pet will be treated like family, and I will make sure they are well taken care of while you are away.

About: I've had a dog my entire life up until now. I can take care of puppies, seniors, large dogs, small dogs, dogs without a tail and puppies in diapers. Med administration and vitals checks are ready to go too. I just became a student and somehow have found myself pet free for the first time. I'm pretty available all the time and would love to love on your fur babies. I have a half fenced in yard they can run around in. They can get on the couch or the bed of they want to. Pet friendly house with nothing edible in dog's/cat's reach. Plenty of great places to walk around Mount Pleasant.
“Daphne is amazing! I was looking for someone who would care for my dog the same as they would care for their own… Daphne was that and more! It was as if I had a member of my family watching and caring for my dog. Truly made my week long trip stress free knowing my dog was in great hands. Thank you again Daphne and you will be the only person I request to watch Jack from now on!”
“Kaitlyn, was once again, exceptional with Cosmo! I am so appreciative of her and making time to take care of my fur baby. She communicates well and offers top notch care! I’ll continue booking with her!”

“I was very happy with Kelsey’s care. Spice connected with Kelsey instantly. She was accommodating to all of Spice’s needs and I felt very relaxed while away. I would definitely recommend her for your pet’s needs!”

“Kierstin was awesome watching my cats! She sent lots of pics while I was gone which I greatly appreciated and was always very timely with her responses. Highly recommended and would use her again as a sitter!”

“Margie was great. I booked last minute and she responded so promptly. Came for a meet and great too. I felt so comfortable having her come over to walk and love on my pup while I was at work. Margie made my first Rover experience awesome!”

“Erika dropped in to take care of our two cats and did a wonderful job! We got plenty of photos to keep us updated about them and we could tell they enjoyed having Erika come in to see & play with them. Highly recommend her for cat visits!”

About: Hi! I’m Jocelyn, a pediatric registered nurse who works three 12-hour night shifts each week. Because of my schedule, I have flexibility on my days off and can also provide care before or after my shifts depending on the booking. I always keep my calendar updated and communicate clearly so you’ll know exactly when I’m available. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting with plenty of love, attention, and playtime. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing fetch, belly rubs, or simply having someone keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll also follow any feeding schedules, medication instructions (if you’re comfortable with that), and routines to help your pet feel at home. As a pediatric nurse, I’m dependable, attentive to detail, and calm in unexpected situations. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, and I take the time to earn their trust. My goal is to treat every pet like they’re part of my own family while giving owners peace of mind through regular updates and photos. I work three 12-hour night shifts each week as a pediatric nurse, so my schedule is flexible on my days off and changes from week to week. I keep my Rover calendar updated and communicate my availability clearly. Depending on my work schedule, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting before or after my shifts, as well as throughout my days off. I’ll always make sure your pet receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, potty breaks, and any routines that help your pet feel at ease. I’ll treat your home with the same respect I would my own by keeping it clean, secure, and locking doors and gates before leaving. I understand that every pet has different needs, so I’ll provide patient, individualized care while keeping you updated with messages and photos throughout my visits. My goal is for you to feel completely confident that your pet is safe, loved, and in good hands while you’re away.
“We are very happy to have someone we trust to watch our dog. Kristelyn was responsive and easy to work with. My dog is a rescue and can be shy with new people so it was comforting to have someone who obviously loves animals and is communicative take care of our girl. We recently moved to Florida from Michigan. Since we are new to the area Rover was our best option for a sitter. We will definitely book with Kristelyn again in the future! Highly recommend.”
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level. I provide mindful, intentional care with plenty of walks, potty breaks, playtime, photos, and updates so you can feel confident while you’re away! I’m naturally very attentive and want every dog to feel safe, loved, and understood. Some dogs want constant play and adventure, some need time to warm up, and others just want a calm, cozy space to relax. I adjust my care based on their energy, personality, and routine so they feel comfortable instead of overwhelmed. For boarding and day care, I offer a separate pet friendly playroom where your pet can settle in, decompress, and feel at home. This gives them space to explore at their own pace and ease into a new environment comfortably. I only take on what I can handle well, so your pet gets thoughtful, personalized attention. My clients often mention that I’m responsive, communicative, caring, and responsible, and that their pets feel comfortable with me. That trust means the world to me, and I take it seriously. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, and I always appreciate details about feeding, medications, behavior, leash habits, energy level, and how your dog does around other pets. My goal is simple: safe, loving, premium care that keeps your pet happy and keeps you fully updated for peace of mind. I have a flexible schedule and do my best to build each booking around your pet’s normal routine. I’m available throughout the week and on weekends, and I like to review care details ahead of time so I can make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and settled. For boarding and day care, I plan my day around walks, potty breaks, playtime, rest, and updates based on your pet’s energy level and needs. For house sitting and drop ins, I keep routines as consistent as possible so your pet and home feel cared for while you’re away. I only take on what I can handle well, so every pet gets thoughtful attention instead of feeling like just another booking. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I take the time to understand their personality, behavior, needs, and any special instructions so I can care for them in a way that feels familiar and reassuring. In my home, pets have a calm, clean, pet friendly environment with a separate playroom where they can settle in, decompress, and explore at their own pace. I’m thoughtful about introductions, personal space, potty breaks, walks, rest time, and keeping each pet comfortable without overwhelming them. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect and attention I would want in my own. I’m mindful with doors, locks, routines, feeding instructions, medications, updates, and anything else that helps you feel confident while you’re away. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for with real attention.
About: Hi! I’m a big animal lover and have been around dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up helping train service dogs for my mom, so I learned early on about patience, consistency, and understanding how dogs think and communicate. My family also had cats and fostered kittens when I was younger, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and personalities. I also spent years pet sitting for neighbors growing up, which gave me even more experience caring for different animals and routines. In college, I volunteered with 4 Paws for Ability, where I helped work with service dogs in training and took part in hands-on trainings and education sessions. It was such a rewarding experience and deepened my love for working with animals. I’m currently finishing up grad school and will have a very flexible schedule while I study for my board exam, which means I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I haven’t been able to have a pet of my own while in school, so I’ve really missed being around animals, which is a big part of why I’m excited to be on Rover and spend time caring for yours! Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your pets like my own. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet with someone, and I’d love to help make that an easy, stress-free experience for you. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I currently have a very flexible schedule as I finish up grad school and prepare for my board exam. This gives me plenty of availability during weekdays and weekends to provide consistent care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or extended time with your pets. I’m able to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs and make sure they get reliable, attentive care! When caring for pets in your home, I will focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I will follow instructions closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or any specific needs your pet has. I aim to provide a calm, loving presence so your pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away, and I always treat homes with respect and care!
“Elizabeth was the best! She communicated very well. Bart loved her and he can be picky. Not with Elizabeth! She sent me photos and Bart had a blast. I will definitely use Elizabeth again and recommend her to anyone!”

“Kristin was incredible!!! So so sweet to our kitties and sent such great updates while we were away. So grateful for her and highly recommend to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Richard as a life savior for me! We had a trip planned for a year. Our house was a total disaster because remodeling was underway. I have a large group of cats and the care is above average. Because Richard sent me photos and maintained the cleaning , i was able to enjoy my vacation despite the chaos of the remodeling and leaving my cats. THANK YOU RICHARD!!!”

“Autumn was a complete life savor. She checked-in on my pup Bella and helped out with my requests as Bella wasn’t feeling well which made me feel great, knowing my girl was in good hands!!”

About: I have grown up with pets my whole life and have a big passion for the safety and well being of all animals. I have been dog sitting since I was young and have continued to dog sit for regular clients in my hometown for many years before moving. I am friendly, reliable and understand that all dogs have different needs. I am happy to call and introduce myself prior, I look forward to meeting you and your pup(s)! My job is flexible since I make my own schedule majority of the time. I am happy to come over to walk your dog, play with them, give them cuddles or just check on their food/water. I am also happy to host at my apartment since I can spend lots of time with them. I am flexible to your needs! I am capable of any care needed for your pet and would be excited to do it! I understand that all dogs should be treated and cared for based on their own needs while ensuring safety at all times. “Kilee did a great job with my dog Oreo! She spent more than 30 minutes each time she dropped in to spend time with him and make sure all of his needs were met. She was very communicative and shared pictures with me. I look forward to reaching out to Kilee in the future any time I need help with Oreo!”

“Erika was absolutely amazing! This was our first time using an in-home pet sitter and she made it an absolutely stress free experience. She was also able to accommodate on short notice, which was a life saver! Sent picture updates daily with a little note of how our pup was doing. Definitely will book again! ❤️”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Mount Pleasant
Jessica was absolutely fantastic! My beautiful cat, Daisy, is a little anxious around new people, but Jessica's calm demeanor and experience made the meet-and-greet incredibly easy and stress-free. I will definitely be booking with Jessica again. I feel completely at ease knowing Daisy will be in such caring and capable hands!

Kelsey has now taken great care of my 5 cats for a third time! She has become a favorite care and they greet her at the door. She leaves my house and cat box area neatly tidied and watered the front porch plants while I was away for almost 2 weeks. She terrific!

Erika was wonderful with Poe! Our automated feeder broke during our trip and she made an ”executive decision” to just take care of it so our cat had enough food. Best pet sitter! We plan on using her again and for my friend’s dog. Highly recommend using her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
