About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I now have two of my own. My dogs are my family, and I make sure they are well cared for always! I will care for your dogs like my own. I am in between jobs, so I have lots of time to spend with your pet. I will make sure they always have lots of attention and love, providing them with plenty of walks and play time. Your dog will have access to lay on my couch and roam freely through the common areas. While I don't have a yard, we do lots of walking!
About: I was raised by a cat mom, so I grew up in a house full of cats, so naturally they were my first love. Then one day I met a Great Dane, and became completely obsessed with dogs! I’ve had two rescue Dobermans, a Rottweiler, and now my almost 9-year-old retired racing Greyhound, Frank. Along the way, I’ve also cared for all kinds of dogs, including other Greyhounds, Labs, Poodles, Mini Schnauzers, and Shih Tzus. Basically, I love them all—the big ones, the little ones, the quirky ones and everything in between! Frank has taught me just how different each dog can be. He is the most confident scaredy-cat I’ve ever met, believes the floor is lava, thinks stairs are an absolute no, loves long walks on the beach and a good breeze through his hair, and believes any time is treat time. 😂 He has definitely taught me patience, understanding, and how to pay attention to the little things that make each dog feel comfortable and safe. My goal is for your pet to feel loved, understood, and completely at home while they’re with me. ❤️ I work as an independent hair stylist in the West Ashley area so I have control over my schedule, so for things planned with time I am pretty flexible for what you need. Some of my work days vary from 4-9 hours, if anything is booked last minute but I am happy to schedule out time for your pet instead of taking an extra hair client! My boi sleeps about 20 hours a day and stays in his bed all day long with a few stretches here and there. We walk for 20 minutes, twice a day and get treated before long naps. And any other waking moment includes just hanging out on the floor while we chill. Maybe a 45 second play time after dinner. If your dog needs a chill dog, Frank is the chillest. I'd request that any boarding in my home must be crate trained for any day time work hours, otherwise they can be out as much as they want! They can even sleep in the bed with me and my partner if they prefer! Frank does not walk up the stairs, so he stays in bed downstairs. We do not have a fenced-in backyard, but we do have a beautiful safe-for-dogs neighborhood with tons of grass paths as well as paved paths. We can go for a walk and watch the deer in the woods and the egrets in the canals. It's a great place here! There is a small, always empty fenced-in dog park within walking distance from us if your baby needs its freedom for bathroom time! 😂

About: I’ve dog-sat for families in the past while also caring for my own childhood dogs. We rescued an 18-pound Havapoo named Tigger, who recently passed away from a heart murmur—he was truly my spirit animal. My parents now have a 9-month-old Portuguese Water Dog named Ozzy, and even though I’ve moved out, I still get to dog-sit my “nephew” Ozzy Bear pretty often (not sure my parents knew what they were getting into with a puppy!). What meant the most to me is that Layla is recovering from a leg injury, and Natalie was so gentle, patient, and attentive with her — she took such good care of her. I can't recommend Natalie enough!
William was amazing! He took my dog in last minute when she got sick right before a vacation. Parish and his wife were awesome. Very kind and caring people who communicated regularly and took exceptional care of our senior dog Mollie, including her meds. Parish works remotely so Mollie was able to hang out with him every day and snuggle, which is an absolute must for a spoiled, only dog Shih-Tzu. Parish and his wife have a beautiful, spotless home and they sent pictures of Mollie parked in front of their huge glass window, watching the squirrels outdoors, which is the thing she loves to do the most. I can always tell when I pick Molly up if she was well cared for by how she reacts to me. When I picked her up from Parish and his wife, Mollie could have cared less if I was there or not. That only happens when she has had such a good time and was so well cared for by the sitter. I plan to ask Parish to care for Mollie every time we leave town without her from now on and I can recommend him without any reservations. I feel very fortunate to have discovered Parish on Rover.
