“We were so happy with the care that was given to our pup by Lila. He is an elderly dog and she was so kind and thoughtful to his needs. Added bonus…our guy made a new friend with her pup. We would highly recommend Lila and hope to use her services in the future!”
About: I’m a registered nurse with a lifelong love for dogs, which means safety, reliability, and attention to detail are always my top priorities. I had my own dog for 14 years, so I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior or health, and providing extra patience and comfort. Having moved here from Philly, I truly miss having a dog of my own, so I treat every pet I care for like family. I’m calm, observant, and dependable, and I’m especially comfortable with routines, special instructions, and pets who need a little extra care or reassurance. Whether it’s walks, overnight stays, or drop-ins, your dog will be safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. As a nurse, I work three 12-hour shifts per week, which gives me several full days off where I’m completely available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care.I plan my schedule carefully and only accept bookings I can fully commit to, so your pet will always get consistent attention, exercise, and care. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and communicate clearly so you always know your pet is in good hands. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or yours. As a nurse, I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and trained to notice subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. I carefully follow all routines and instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications, leash preferences, and house rules. In a client’s home, I respect your space and keep your pet’s environment clean, calm, and familiar. In my home, pets are supervised, never left unattended for long periods, and kept in a secure, comfortable setting. I use leashes at all times outdoors unless otherwise instructed and avoid dog parks unless explicitly approved. I prioritize clear communication and will provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.
“Our pup had such a good time with Sasha! We took the kids to the beach and he had a vacation with her, went on lots of walks and felt at home. She was super responsive and sent great pictures and videos. Definitely would send our fur baby back to her when we come down!”
“Rachel was wonderful! Took great care of Trooper, he seemed to love her and her dog Sadie who is an absolute angel. She sent picture updates every day and made me feel very comfortable. Will definitely be booking again!”
“Josie had a wonderful stay with Kyler. Josie is a very social dog and really enjoys being around other dogs. Henry was a great companion. Kyler sent us daily pictures. And we will def use Kyler again when we need to leave Jo at home.”
“Leigh Ann and her family took great care of my pup! I was nervous, as it was my first time leaving him with someone other than family, but she treated him like her own! I will definitely rebook with her.”
“This was the 2nd time we’ve boarded our golden with Lauren and again we were extremely happy with the care she and her family provided to our pup! As we saw with Lauren’s regular updates, our pup loved playing with their kids and yellow lab. Their fenced in backyard was a huge plus as well!”
“Dominic is amazing! He sent pictures daily and kept me updated on my sweet kittens stay. He made sure he was comfortable and I felt he was in the best hands. I will be using him again and again!!”
“Natalie was very responsive and easy to work with. She and Diesel kept Zeus entertained and he came home ready to pass out from all the fun. Zeus can be needy and Natalie did a great job helping him adjust to his new environment. I'll definitely be using her again in the future.”
“My dog stayed with Kathy over an extended period (10 days) and did really well. As a rescue with a rough early start, my dog can be skittish and slow to warm up to new people and situations, but Kathy and her husband were patient and my dog not only seemed to relax, but also enjoy having a yard to play in and (dog) buddies to play with. Kathy’s willingness to pick up and drop off my dog was also really convenient and helpful. Highly recommend!”
“Incredible experience. Michael incredibly communicative and Dennis had a blast. I think he’s even sad to come home and not get all the attention and play with the new friends he made. I highly recommend Michael in every way.”
“Natasha did a great job watching our dog Harley. She sent updates and pictures throughout her stay that made us feel better about leaving her for the weekend. I would definitely recommend booking with her!”
“Who was going to watch our pup fell through at the very last minute before we had to go out of town. Paul was so quick to respond and confirm caring for Peter. Another added detail is he was in recovery from an eye issue and needed extra love and care as he had medication and a cone. Once we got there, he showed the spaces that Peter was going to hang out in, made sure to fully understand any special instructions that were needed and while we were gone, took such good care of him. He would go out of his way every day to send an update with multiple photos. I never had to ask. Everything was so clean and nice and we were put at ease the whole trip knowing that he was in good hands. 100/10 would recommend, your pet will be taken such good care of!”
“Thank you Diane for taking such great care of my dog. Charlie is a skittish miniature poodle mix that does not connect with everyone. Diane made her feel at home and sent pictures. I would definitely recommend Diane and we will be using her again.”
“Parish and his wife were awesome. Very kind and caring people who communicated regularly and took exceptional care of our senior dog Mollie, including her meds. Parish works remotely so Mollie was able to hang out with him every day and snuggle, which is an absolute must for a spoiled, only dog Shih-Tzu. Parish and his wife have a beautiful, spotless home and they sent pictures of Mollie parked in front of their huge glass window, watching the squirrels outdoors, which is the thing she loves to do the most. I can always tell when I pick Molly up if she was well cared for by how she reacts to me. When I picked her up from Parish and his wife, Mollie could have cared less if I was there or not. That only happens when she has had such a good time and was so well cared for by the sitter. I plan to ask Parish to care for Mollie every time we leave town without her from now on and I can recommend him without any reservations. I feel very fortunate to have discovered Parish on Rover.”

“Richard as a life savior for me! We had a trip planned for a year. Our house was a total disaster because remodeling was underway. I have a large group of cats and the care is above average. Because Richard sent me photos and maintained the cleaning , i was able to enjoy my vacation despite the chaos of the remodeling and leaving my cats. THANK YOU RICHARD!!!”

“Here’s a polished review you can use: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Dog Sitter! I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received. From the very beginning, she was professional, reliable, and genuinely caring. My dog was comfortable, happy, and well cared for while we were at dinner, which gave me complete peace of mind. I appreciated the regular updates, photos, and communication throughout the stay. It was clear that my dog received plenty of attention and affection. I returned home to a relaxed and happy dog. I highly recommend Carla to anyone looking for trustworthy, loving care for their furry family member. I will definitely book with her again! 🐾💙”
About: I’ve had two English Bulldogs for over 15 years, which gave me firsthand experience with everything from puppy energy to senior care. Back home in Philly, I also babysat family friends’ dogs of all kinds — Golden Retrievers, Labs, Pitbulls, and more — so I’m comfortable with all sizes, temperaments, and activity levels. On top of dogs, I’m also the proud “uncle” to my brother and his fiancée’s two kittens, so I know my way around cats just as well. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each pet’s unique needs: Puppies: potty training, leash training, and safe play. Senior pets: slower walks, medication reminders, and gentle care. Bulldogs / special breeds: I understand breed-specific needs like breathing issues and joint sensitivity. Since I work fully remote, I have the flexibility to give pets plenty of attention, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets like family — because that’s exactly how I’ve treated mine for over 15 years. I work fully remote and have a very flexible daily routine, which gives me plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I take a full hour lunch break every afternoon, which is perfect for walks, drop-ins, or playtime. Since I’m home during the day, I can give lots of attention, snuggles, and regular potty breaks for pets in my care. Evenings and weekends are wide open for longer walks, overnight care, or boarding. Whether you need a midday drop-in, daily walks, or someone to keep your pets company overnight, I can adjust my schedule to fit your needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment where they’ll feel at ease. I’m mindful of keeping doors secured, removing hazards, and making sure pets have access to fresh water, safe play areas, and plenty of attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect I’d want for my own. I follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules and walk routines to medication or special care needs. I send regular updates and photos so you feel connected and reassured while you’re away. With over 15 years of experience around dogs (including Bulldogs, Retrievers, Pitbulls, and Labs) and cats, I understand how to adapt to different temperaments and needs. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or requires a little extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for.

“Michael was so wonderful. He promptly responded to my request for a dogsitter, and he showed such genuine care throughout all of our interactions. Not only was he open to my dog boarding at his home, but he was also welcoming and gentle to my dog child as he adapted to him, his cute puppies, and his home. He cooked dog treats, went on regular walks, gave my dog steady potty breaks, and shared great pictures with me. I really felt that C.Lo was in the safest of hands, and that was much needed. I appreciate Michael and his quality service.”
“Leaving a second review since Kelsey is so great. My pup would rather spend time at her place with her dogs than with me! I've used Kelsey half a dozen times and am happy with the experience.”

About: I love animals! Basically, I have always had a dog or been around them. I had a 100-lb Giant Schnauzer for 5.5 years. She passed away in August 2016 from untreatable T-Cell Lymphoma, and I miss her dearly. She was my sidekick and went virtually everywhere with me. I can't pass a dog without wanting to pet him/her. Most of my friends have dogs or cats, and they all love me. I'm not just saying that. I work from home, and I live close to the Waterfront Park in Mount Pleasant. I'm active, fit, and can handle all types of dogs. I miss taking my dog to the dog park and beach, and would love to give you a hand with your fur baby. I was always a "helicopter parent" when it came to watching over my dog, because I understand the responsibility that caring for a dog requires. Your dog is definitely safe with me!
“Kristen was great with my 4 month old Springer Spaniel! He had so much fun playing with her dachshunds and was wiped out when I picked him up at the end of the day. Her fenced back yard is perfect for him to be able to roam around outside and stay active throughout the day. A+++”

About: Hi! I’m Rachel, a lifelong dog lover who hasn’t gone a single day without a dog by my side. Over the last 16 years, I’ve cherished every moment of raising my own dogs and sharing that same love and care with every animal I meet. My pets have helped shape who I am, and my childhood dog even helped me take my first steps. I started dog sitting in my neighborhood when I was 10 years old and haven’t stopped since. One neighbor invited me over every Tuesday to meet her new foster puppy of the week, which is how I found my first puppy, Rocky. And since having one dog wasn’t enough, I adopted Sadie during my senior year of high school. Over the years, friends and family have come to me for help with training their new puppies and caring for their pets while they’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and love getting to know each dog’s unique personality. After losing Rocky in March and graduating from the College of Charleston in May with a B.A. in psychology, I joined Rover so Sadie and I could spend more time with other dogs and make new friends along the way. I’m currently doing Rover full-time while I look for the right career opportunity, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to spend with the dogs in my care. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands dogs and will love your dog as if they were my own, I’d love to help! I’m currently doing Rover full-time, so my schedule is very flexible. Let me know what works best for you and your pet, and I’m happy to accommodate your schedule whenever possible. I live in a two-bedroom condo with my 9-year-old dog Sadie, who loves making new friends. I also have a neighborhood dog park just a short walk away, where I take her to run around and get her energy out. We also have lots of great walking paths and parks around us to explore. Whether your dog stays with me or I care for them in your home, I will keep them in a comfortable routine while prioritizing their needs and safety.

“My dog stayed with Jessica for 5 days and although I hated to leave him, Jessica’s daily comments, pictures, and videos reassured me that he was in good hands. I would certainly book with her again and highly recommend her to friends.”
“She was an amazing dog sitter! She took Chunky on walks to the beach and the coffee shop, he loved hanging out with her. There wasn’t one photo where he didn’t look happy, it put me at ease knowing I picked her to look after him. She did great with his meal times, giving him his daily meds and she even bathed him without me having to ask which I appreciated so much, it saved me from having to do it at home! 10/10 would recommend her, and I will be using her regularly now for vacations.”
“Kelsey is absolutely amazing and Remmy just loved her and Gizmo!!! I would highly recommend and will definitely be using her services again. She went above and beyond with Remmy and I just love that he’s so well taken care of when I needed someone to watch over him.”
“Fantastic! When staying with Jeremiah my dog was living his best life! He cruised the town in a convertible, hit the sand at Sullivans, sunbathed on the back porch & snoozed on the sofa (using Jeremiah's feet for a pillow!). Communication was perfect & the photos were awesome.”
About: I’m a huge dog lover and have fostered 14 pups from rural South Carolina shelters over the past two years. They’ve all been different ages, sizes, and personalities, so I’m comfortable with just about any type of dog. A few of them still come back to hang with me for dog-sitting now that they’re adopted, which I love. I’m reliable, punctual, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. Your pup will get plenty of love and attention with me! I work remote and have a flexible schedule. I have fostered puppies before who need to be brought out every few hours, so I am comfortable with any schedule. I live in an apartment complex with access to a dog park if your dog is dog-friendly. If not, I love to take dogs to local trails.
“Alyssa was great! Very responsive and friendly, sent plenty of updates and pictures, and my dog looked very happy and at home while under her care. Highly recommend!”
About: I've been caring for dogs for over 20 years, and my own dogs have taught me that every pup has its own personality and needs. I'm comfortable with every life stage, from house training and teaching basic commands to puppies, to giving senior and special-needs dogs the patience, medication routines, and gentle care they deserve. Big, high-energy breeds are no problem either. I love long walks, active play, and keeping busy dogs happy and tired. Most importantly, I'll stick to your routine, send updates and photos, and make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and right at home while you're away! I work from home, so I'm around throughout the day to give your pet regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention. My weekends are open too, which makes me a great fit for weekend boarding, drop-ins, and longer stays. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and your pet will be part of my day rather than an afterthought. At my home, your dog will have a secure fenced yard to play in and my own friendly dog for company. I have a crate available if your pup is crate trained or you prefer it. When I care for pets in your home, I follow your routine closely: feeding, walks, medications, and house rules. I always start with a meet & greet so we can get to know each other and make sure it's a good fit, and I send photo and text updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
