About: Hi! Animals have pretty much always been the center of my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, and horses, have been pet sitting since I was 12, earned my degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech, and spent two years working professionally with horses after college. I currently work in veterinary client care and have plenty of experience with everything from daily care and medications to the occasional pet who has very specific opinions about how things should be done. I have my own Australian Shepard, Ripley, so I’m no stranger to zoomies, long walks, and pup cups! I’m comfortable with pets of all different personalities and needs, and I’m happy to stick as closely as possible to whatever routine makes your pet happiest. I also know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so pictures and updates are always part of the deal! My work schedule varies throughout the week, which gives me flexibility for pet care on both weekdays and weekends. I keep my availability updated and am happy to work with you to find care that fits your pet’s normal routine. When I’m home, I spend lots of time walking, playing, and going on adventures with my own dog. I have a friendly dog of my own who loves having company! I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate time, and any other preferences you have. For pets staying with me, I’ll always make sure everyone is comfortable together and has their own space when needed. In your home, I’ll treat your pet, their routine, and your space with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life and have had experience with dogs of all sizes. My family’s dog right now is an Australian Labor-doodle and before him I also had a yellow lab. I welcome all friendly pups and will love them as you do! I work a very flexible schedule so your pup will be well cared for and not left alone for a long amount of time! I will take them for walks, let them run in the fenced in area at my apartment complex, and allow them to be free in the apartment space. There is plenty of room for them to run freely in a fenced in dog park at my complex however I LOVE to go to surrounding neighborhoods, Park Circle, and the Battery to walk around. Always will have a leash and make sure I’m safe around other dogs!
