About: What sets me apart from other sitters is how much I truly care about each pet’s comfort and happiness. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have experience caring for both energetic puppies and older dogs who need a little extra patience. I’m really good at reading pets’ moods and making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I’m also very reliable and take my responsibilities seriously, I always make sure pets stick to their routines, get plenty of playtime, and have clean water and food. Whether it’s going on walks, or just spending time cuddling, I treat every pet like my own. I am currently available all day on the weekends and Thursday anytime after 5:00pm. I will have the most time on those days to provide and care for your dog. When I care for pets, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved the whole time. At my home, I have a fenced backyard where dogs can play and get plenty of exercise. There’s also a dog park right in my neighborhood, so with permission, I love taking pets there for walks, playtime, and socializing. My house has lots of open space, so there’s room for pets to relax, stretch out, and feel at home. always keep water and food fresh, stick to each pet’s usual schedule, and make sure they get the attention they’re used to—whether that’s playtime, cuddles, or quiet time. Safety is my top priority, and I always make sure gates are closed, leashes are secure, and pets are never left unsupervised.

About: I have been passionate about taking care of animals since I volunteered at my first animal shelter cleaning cages at 11 years old. I have been fortunate enough to carry that into adulthood, partnering with two local shelters. I have dedicated thousands of hours in my home to fostering and supporting the adoption of local shelter dogs for the last two years. In my personal time, when not volunteering, I am training for an upcoming marathon, so for pups who require more than an afternoon stroll, I am happy to have them tag along on my runs, short or long distance! I have one Persian cat named Sir Alfred who is 12 years bold, and a 2 year old Doberman named Circe, who both have plenty of experience welcoming new faces into our home. I have experience with more aggressive dogs and cats, and I am comfortable with dogs that might be considered difficult on a leash. I work full time, and also serve in the Army reserves one month a year locally, but I am available for lunch, evening, and weekend walks/stop ins. For boarding, I am able to spend time before and after work, as well as hour long lunch breaks with my house guests! When I have guests who aren’t very cat friendly, my cat has his own safe room in the house that he stays. My dog Circe goes for a morning run with me every morning, and is crated during the day while I work. I spend my weekends taking her to local parks or events. I have a fenced in back yard that everyone has access to at their own enjoyment. My live in partner and I work together with our pets to ensure they are always mentally and physically stimulated.

I was new to the process and didn't have any idea of what was going on and I wasn't very keen on the idea of having to leave him with a stranger. Fortunately, Kristin was very responsive and kind about the whole thing, which was very reassuring. I got picture updates daily and even videos. The neighborhood was very nice, her home was clean and organized, she had a fenced in yard, twin boys which I am sure my dog loved to be around, and the a sweet weiner dog. My dog has specific feeding and meds, which she accommodated. I didn't want him to be alone when I was gone and picking Kristin was perfect.”
