About: I’m a registered nurse with a lifelong love for dogs, which means safety, reliability, and attention to detail are always my top priorities. I had my own dog for 14 years, so I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior or health, and providing extra patience and comfort. Having moved here from Philly, I truly miss having a dog of my own, so I treat every pet I care for like family. I’m calm, observant, and dependable, and I’m especially comfortable with routines, special instructions, and pets who need a little extra care or reassurance. Whether it’s walks, overnight stays, or drop-ins, your dog will be safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. As a nurse, I work three 12-hour shifts per week, which gives me several full days off where I’m completely available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care.I plan my schedule carefully and only accept bookings I can fully commit to, so your pet will always get consistent attention, exercise, and care. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and communicate clearly so you always know your pet is in good hands. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or yours. As a nurse, I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and trained to notice subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. I carefully follow all routines and instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications, leash preferences, and house rules. In a client’s home, I respect your space and keep your pet’s environment clean, calm, and familiar. In my home, pets are supervised, never left unattended for long periods, and kept in a secure, comfortable setting. I use leashes at all times outdoors unless otherwise instructed and avoid dog parks unless explicitly approved. I prioritize clear communication and will provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.

“Very glad to have found Jonathan and Carla to watch Evie for me! She started playing with their cute little pup when I dropped her off and I got updates with pictures of her while I was away! Evie definitely enjoyed her stay with them and was so happy while she was with them and when I picked her up! I would definitely recommend using them and will use them again!”

“Haley and Alex were fantastic! Welcomed our pup into their home where he immediately started playing, and quickly made himself at home per the many photos they sent during his stay. They were very communicative and clearly enjoyed having him. Highly recommend and have already booked them again!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! Emily kept us updated with plenty of photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Gunner came home happy and clearly well-loved. It was obvious he received lots of attention, playtime, and excellent care. It's such a relief to find someone who treats your pet like family. If you're looking for a loving and reliable Rover sitter, I recommend Emily and Tarek without hesitation. We'll definitely be booking with them again. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Gunner!”

About: I have taken care of cats my entire life, from newborn kittens to elderly cats. I have owned my own dog for 2 and a half years and been taking care of friends’/family members’ dogs for the past 7 years. I currently work part-time, so I have flexibility with my schedule to drop in throughout the day. My weeks can look difference so even if a day is blocked off, send me a message because I might be able to make it work! I have a fenced-in, half acre yard with plenty of space to run and play. My own dog is very friendly and loves having other dogs to play with. I also have plenty of space to separate or crate either dog as needed. My cat tends to steer clear of dogs, but is friendly and can be put upstairs, separate from the dog, if need be.
“Rocky had a wonderful time with Sasha and Kyzua. Sasha was very communicative and sent lots of cute pictures. It was very comforting to know he was being well loved and taken care of while we were gone. Rocky is looking forward to his next stay.”

“Amazing! I can’t say enough great things about Kyler. Scout is conflicted whether to come back home with me or stay at camp Kyler. Lol 😂 Thank you again for a fun stay! See you again in July!”

“We’re so glad to have found Shannon to keep Bean while we were away. I’m not entirely sure Bean wanted to come home, he had such a great time. Shannon communicated each day to give us assurance that Bean was doing well. Highly recommend working with Shannon!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
