“Sharon (and her husband Mike) were absolutely wonderful with our cockapoo, Millie, and are an incredibly nice couple who truly enjoy dogs. Millie stayed with them for 5 days/4 nights so that we could visit relatives in MA. They bonded with her immediately at our Meet and Greet and nothing was too much for them during her stay; they made sure she got lots of tummy rubs and couch time combined with frequent games of fetching balls in their great backyard, sending frequent photos. Millie and their Heidi ended up being happy companions - after an early spat when Millie thought her dogfood was in danger - but Shannon and Mike quickly got that sorted out. They are very careful about dog safety which I really appreciate. Millie will definitely be returning!”

As a former vet tech (nurse) with experience in multiple emergency care hospitals and general practices, I have no issues with approaching each animal with a gentle respect and love on their own terms (we all know how particular cats can be!). About: I am a former veterinary technician (nurse) that loves all animals! I have previous experience as a professional dog walker/pet sitter. I worked in the emergency department of multiple well established veterinary hospitals and general practices. I can assist with special needs animals and administering medications as needed. I have a small dog (14 year old spayed female Shetland sheepdog). I live on Folly Beach, so pups can expect beach walks and fun days out at all of the pet friendly establishments here (with permission!). I have had pets for years, so animal care is not only a part of my daily routine but my overall lifestyle revolves around them! Luna loved the really nice fenced in play area as well as being able to interact and play with the family dogs. I couldn't think of a better play for Luna to "vacation" and as always the best recommendation is that we and she will be back for a week in February.”

I was fostering puppies from the Colleton County shelter before I joined Rover, and I can assure you after rehabbing, training and finding those puppies their forever homes; your animals will be a walk in the park! Personally, I have two dogs 9 & 5 and one kitty. My older pup had a back injury when she was 2, so I’ve dealt with all types of special care for pups who need a bit of assistance as well as administering medications, etc. My animals are my children and I would take care of someone else’s babies as my own! 🐾 I work from home and the pups always have access to go outside to the fenced in backyard! I focus on long walks or adventures in the evenings that get my pups worn out leading into the following day while I’m at working. The huge fenced in backyard is a huge bonus for activity throughout the day!! I’ve got a 3 year old corgi named Gus of my own and he loves to play and go on walks with other dogs. I’m a nurse at MUSC and my schedule differs every week, but I can be flexible when able! I walk my dog multiple times a day and we play in the dog park at my apartment as well as on the beach. They can play together or I can keep my dog completely separate from your pup! My apartment is very dog friendly and there is a big dog park in my complex for them to play. There’s also a smaller fenced in park in case they’re not very social.
