“Gracen and her husband did a fantastic job watching our dog for the weekend. He must have been very active all weekend because he slept for an entire day after we got home! Gracen was very responsive and extremely kind and helpful. We absolutely will be booking with them again!”

“Kathy was a great host to my pup. She was very professional and took great care of Ollie. She sent updates / photos regularly which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, and would be glad to have her watch Ollie again!”

“Chloe was a wonderful sitter! She was able to watch my dog, Kona, on short notice after my original pet sitter canceled, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She sent plenty of updates, photos, and videos throughout Kona’s stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. She even took Kona and her own dog to the county park one morning! I would definitely recommend Chloe to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter :)”

“Great couple with perfect fenced back yard and neighborhood with loads of kids who love dogs! Kimberly and Dylan were wonderful sitters for Ebony. She had so much fun!!”

“We had a wonderful experience!! Our first time using Rover, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Yvette and her family were so sweet and cared for our pup like their own! He had SO much fun and loved playing with her family and other pups! We loved receiving daily updates and photos, and had such a peace of mind knowing he was well taken care of! Will definitely be coming back :)”

“Kathryn was fantastic! My dog Sully made himself at home as soon as he got to her house. Kathryn is super nice, has great communication, and kept me updated about Sully throughout my travels. She was also open to keeping him an extra night last minute so is flexible and accommodating.”

“Leaving Stanley with Laura is always great! I can enjoy vacation knowing Stanley is in good hands. This visit happened to fall during the air show so there were loud jets overhead which scares Stanley. Laura made sure to stay close to him so that he felt safe and protected.”

“Alyssa was amazing!! I was very happy with her great communication and how well she took care of our senior german shepherd pup ! She was super caring and attentive to make sure our dog had the best possible care. I recommend her highly and can’t wait to continue to use her for our future stays.”

“I can only really know how things went for my cat Teacup when she is boarded by how she behaves once she’s back home. After her 2 night stay with Natasha she seemed happy to be home, but otherwise very calm. Unlike other times when she meowed non-stop for 2 days as if she were trying to tell me all was not as it should have been. This time she hardly meowed at all. Natasha and her 2 daughters seem comfortable with both cats and dogs which of course reassures their guests that they are safe and loved. For Teacup that is everything. I think Teacup wouldn’t mind a return visit in the future. I can recommend Natasha for cat boarding.”

“Could not have found a warmer, more welcoming and attentive home than what John provided for our little dog, Ozzie, for 3 nights in May. It was our 1st time leaving him somewhere-it was hard, but they sent us regular updates with photos and messages showing Ozzie making himself quite at home! It was such a blessing to know that he was in the best of care. Will absolutely use again-can’t recommend enough!!!”

“Lea is so wonderful!!!! We had a last minute booking for the weekend and Lea took care of our Charlotte so well! Copper and Luna are wonderful friends, I feel so lucky to find Lea, Luna and Copper. Charlotte had such a wonderful time here, I would 100% recommend and would return for sure!!”

“I have used Rover a lot over the years and I am not exaggerating when I say that Taylor is the best Rover we have ever used! She took incredible care of our two dogs while we were out of town. She sent so many thoughtful updates with pictures and took them on long walks. I could tell they were happy and relaxed by how much they loved snuggling with her on the couch! Taylor is a true dog lover and so kind, I can’t recommend her more!”

“Janessy was wonderful with my senior Chihuahua. She kept him in her home for me while I was out of town and sent me picture updates of how he was doing. I would definitely recommend her. She is a true animal lover, and I would use her services again in the future.”

“Sharon (and her husband Mike) were absolutely wonderful with our cockapoo, Millie, and are an incredibly nice couple who truly enjoy dogs. Millie stayed with them for 5 days/4 nights so that we could visit relatives in MA. They bonded with her immediately at our Meet and Greet and nothing was too much for them during her stay; they made sure she got lots of tummy rubs and couch time combined with frequent games of fetching balls in their great backyard, sending frequent photos. Millie and their Heidi ended up being happy companions - after an early spat when Millie thought her dogfood was in danger - but Shannon and Mike quickly got that sorted out. They are very careful about dog safety which I really appreciate. Millie will definitely be returning!”

“Rachel was so great! She came over the Friday before we left to meet our kitten Rumble McPurrface and took her time and was very patient with Rum until she came out from under the bed. By the end of the visit Rum was rubbing on her legs and playing fetch. Rachel gave us twice daily updates which set my mind at ease because we hate the thought of our little girl being lonely at home. Thank you Rachel! We will definitely have you watch Rum again!”

“Sarah did a great job of checking on my cat while we were out of town for a few days. My car recently lost her brother, so isn’t used to being totally alone; it made me feel much better knowing Sarah would be checking on her and making sure she was happy and safe!”

“Audrey took a major stress point off of my shoulders by checking on my cat Tyrion. Her service was top notch and from her first text, I knew she was very engaged with his needs. She went above and beyond to communicate the status of his visit which was important to me. I recommend her highly and I plan on booking her again the next time Tyrion needs some TLC.”

“Dawn was absolutely amazing with my cats while I was out of town. Not only did she make sure they were well cared for, but she went above and beyond. One of my cats starting getting sick before I left, and she made sure to keep a close eye on him and give me updates twice a day on how he was doing. I was very nervous leaving him, but she relieved my fears. She even introduced a new prescription diet to him for me! Dawn made sure that I returned home to a clean house- it looked even better than I had left it. I truly can’t say enough good things.”

“Jenna did an amazing job taking care of my two doggos while we took an out of town day trip! I really wanted someone we can trust to ensure my 16 year old shitzu is calm and comfortable while we’re away … he’s developed separation anxiety on top of having dementia and is half blind and deaf now and can work himself up into a tizzy when we’re away from the house for more than an hour! I am so thankful that Chewy was well taken care of and it was such a relief not to worry about him! We will definitely work with Jenna again!!”

“My son and I were in Charleston for our spring break and Kathryn did a fantastic job of watching him while we went to Ft Sumter. It was a super simple drop-off and pickup and he had a great time!”

“If I could leave 1000 stars I would she was absolutely amazing. Sent me pictures updated me throughout the day. I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving my dog with somebody before and every time I come to Charleston, I will be booking with her overall the best experience I’ve had.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: Hiii! Whether it’s your pups dream staycation, drop-in visits with extra loves, or puppy training needs- you’ve found your girl! I am an avid animal lover and have won over every doggie heart and have a special touch with even the craziest of kitties. I was fostering puppies from the Colleton County shelter before I joined Rover, and I can assure you after rehabbing, training and finding those puppies their forever homes; your animals will be a walk in the park! Personally, I have two dogs 9 & 5 and one kitty. My older pup had a back injury when she was 2, so I’ve dealt with all types of special care for pups who need a bit of assistance as well as administering medications, etc. My animals are my children and I would take care of someone else’s babies as my own! 🐾 I work from home and the pups always have access to go outside to the fenced in backyard! I focus on long walks or adventures in the evenings that get my pups worn out leading into the following day while I’m at working. The huge fenced in backyard is a huge bonus for activity throughout the day!! Bare minimum one walk a day, feeding morning and night, my dogs roam the house while I’m gone but they are trained and older- I can follow instructions easily with preferred schedules(:

As a proud parent to a precious 9-year-old teacup Yorkie – the love of my life – and having grown up surrounded by the joy of three dogs in my home, my passion for animals is not just a job, it's a lifelong commitment. Your pet's happiness is my priority, and with me, they're not just in good hands, but in loving ones. I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. Depending on the size of the animal and the duration, I may be open to overnight stays in my home. Stick to the pet's regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks. Provide ample affection and attention to alleviate any separation anxiety. Prepare and serve meals according to the specified diet. Ensure regular walks, considering the pet's energy level and exercise requirements. Grooming: Keep an eye on the pet's overall hygiene and report any concerns to the owner. “Christina was amazing with my puppy Freddie! She is clearly very experienced with dog watching and did an amazing job. Freddie had a great day, and I really appreciated the photo updates. When I brought him home, he was so relaxed and sleepy from a day full of fun and activities! We will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I've always loved animals ever since I was a child and have had pets ever since. I always felt animals make our lives better and my 3 pets have done nothing but enrich my life. I rescued my cat Drogo when he was a kitten 9 years ago, Link my second cat a year and a half ago, and Kai, my puppy, 6 months ago. All of my animals get along and my puppy is always looking for a play mate! I've done dog and cat sitting for both family and friends for about 10 or so years now when I lived in PA and would love to continue that now that I'm finally settled in Mt. Pleasant! I am in the tech industry which has allowed me to work from home during the week/daytime. I do not work on weekends which will allow me to focus more of my time on your fur babies! I have a decent size 1 bedroom apt but prefer smaller animals as a half a 4 lb puppy and 2 cats. If you would like me to board out of your home I would need to bring my puppy Kai. I take Kai potty every hr and a half 2 hrs and walk him twice a day so your dog would be on my dog's schedule unless told otherwise. My cats are very nice to other animals and so is Kai, again he would love a playmate!
About: My husband and I recently moved back to Charleston from Denver. I’m currently working from home would be happy to take care of your pets. We have one small West named Carlyle who mostly keeps to himself! We also have a giant fluff ball named Murph who is high energy and would love to play! I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, birds and love all animals. I’m comfortable giving medicine if needed. We have a house with a fenced in yard where the dogs can play. Dogs must be okay with small children. I work from home and currently have our two pets that I care for. Apart from running errands will be here with the pups all day. We have a fenced yard where the dogs can play or lounge in the sun. We also have two porches (one screened in) so they can have access to the outdoors that way as well.
“I’m so glad I found James on here when I was looking for “doggy day care”. He and his dog Lexi hung out with my dog Pup for two days and it looks like she felt right at home with them. I already felt super comfortable leaving Pup with him after meeting him but he also sent me updates and pictures through out the day which was great. Pup is just a sweet old lady who loves to bark and nap so I love that she met a similar friend in super chill Lexi, and James!”

“This was the first time I used Kim & Dylan for doggy daycare for Reba & Willow. We did have a meet & greet prior to our first day of doggy daycare & They were amazing with my dogs. Kim & Dylan were very accommodating & attentive to Reba & Willow. Reba can be a bit nervous and Willow can be a bit over excited and they made both dogs feel comfortable. Both dogs were very happy & tired when I picked them up. I highly recommend Kim & Dylan and I would not hesitate to use them for doggy daycare (again) or boarding.”

“Natasha was great! She was quick to communicate, open and easy to work with. She was very responsible and help put an anxious pet parent at ease!! We received updates throughout the day. Highly recommend!”

“Brittany was very welcoming to our Poppy and showed us around. Her enclosed backyard was perfect and our dog got along with her dog, Lady. We LOVED the photos she sent and didn’t mind when our yorkie made herself comfortable on her sofa. We absolutely would use Brittany again when we come back to Charleston. Thank you again!”

“Hannah is fantastic!!! We couldn't have been happier with how Wrigley's stay went. He come home a super happy boy (we can always tell if he's stressed or not, and he certainly wasn't). He got to play with her 4 pups, they had plenty of space to lounge, and outside time. Our dog has some quirky temperament issues at first, and Hannah knew exactly how to handle him until he settled in. Her communication was incredible, sending lots of updates and photos throughout the day. We will definitely be using her again and highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little kid and have always loved playing with them, walking them, and just loving on them! Meaghan is extremely reliable (has never been a minute late), and she has great communication. Murph came home worn out after each walk and was (mostly) well-behaved around his sister while she was on activity restriction, largely thanks to Meaghan. We definitely recommend Meaghan!”

“Gracen and her husband did a fantastic job watching our dog for the weekend. He must have been very active all weekend because he slept for an entire day after we got home! Gracen was very responsive and extremely kind and helpful. We absolutely will be booking with them again!”

“Anna took wonderful care of my pup, Ruby. She provided lots of updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Ruby was clearly happy and well cared for. I would absolutely book with Anna again!”

“Mackenzie was phenomenal. We have finally found our go-to sitter. We had to leave for 14 days and we have never seen our dog come back so happy. She gave him so much care and love. Consistent updates. Could not recommend a better person to have watch your best friend.”

“Carla was fantastic! She is first, a great person and second, a great sitter for your furry friend. She took care of my husky like it was her own and her communication was top tier. I highly recommend her and would definitely book her again.”

“Andrew and Frank were so responsive and took such good care of Honey. I could tell she was very comfortable with them and their sweet dogs from the pictures they sent.”

About: I’m a registered nurse with a lifelong love for dogs, which means safety, reliability, and attention to detail are always my top priorities. I had my own dog for 14 years, so I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior or health, and providing extra patience and comfort. Having moved here from Philly, I truly miss having a dog of my own, so I treat every pet I care for like family. I’m calm, observant, and dependable, and I’m especially comfortable with routines, special instructions, and pets who need a little extra care or reassurance. Whether it’s walks, overnight stays, or drop-ins, your dog will be safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. As a nurse, I work three 12-hour shifts per week, which gives me several full days off where I’m completely available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care.I plan my schedule carefully and only accept bookings I can fully commit to, so your pet will always get consistent attention, exercise, and care. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and communicate clearly so you always know your pet is in good hands. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or yours. As a nurse, I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and trained to notice subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. I carefully follow all routines and instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications, leash preferences, and house rules. In a client’s home, I respect your space and keep your pet’s environment clean, calm, and familiar. In my home, pets are supervised, never left unattended for long periods, and kept in a secure, comfortable setting. I use leashes at all times outdoors unless otherwise instructed and avoid dog parks unless explicitly approved. I prioritize clear communication and will provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.
“We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! Emily kept us updated with plenty of photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Gunner came home happy and clearly well-loved. It was obvious he received lots of attention, playtime, and excellent care. It's such a relief to find someone who treats your pet like family. If you're looking for a loving and reliable Rover sitter, I recommend Emily and Tarek without hesitation. We'll definitely be booking with them again. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Gunner!”
