“Dominic was great!! He gave so much love to my girl for the week I was gone. I don’t think she wanted to leave she had so much fun. It was my pups first time being away from me, and he made sure she was very comfortable. He is quick with responses and always keeps you in the loop. Highly recommend for any of your pet care needs 😊”

“Andrew and Frank were truly the sweetest dog sitters we could have asked for. They treated my dog, Scout, like he was their own, and I never had a single worry while we were away. They sent the cutest photos and updates, and it was so clear how loved and happy he was. Scout even made a new best friend, Jax, and I can tell he misses him already! Leaving Scout over Christmas and on his birthday was so hard, but I just know Andrew and Frank gave him the best day. We can’t wait to book a playdate and will absolutely be using them again. I highly recommend booking with Andrew and Frank”

About: Hi - I’m Maggie - your trustworthy pet companion on Rover.com! With a heart devoted to furry friends, I bring honesty, reliability, and a lifetime of love for animals to every pet I care for. As a proud parent to a precious 9-year-old teacup Yorkie – the love of my life – and having grown up surrounded by the joy of three dogs in my home, my passion for animals is not just a job, it's a lifelong commitment. Your pet's happiness is my priority, and with me, they're not just in good hands, but in loving ones. I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. Depending on the size of the animal and the duration, I may be open to overnight stays in my home. Stick to the pet's regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks. Provide ample affection and attention to alleviate any separation anxiety. Prepare and serve meals according to the specified diet. Administer any necessary medications with strict adherence to dosage and schedule. Engage in playtime activities to keep the pet physically and mentally stimulated. Ensure regular walks, considering the pet's energy level and exercise requirements. Grooming: Keep an eye on the pet's overall hygiene and report any concerns to the owner. Keep a vigilant eye on the pet's health and behavior. Report any signs of illness, unusual behavior, or changes in appetite to the owner promptly. Ensure the security of the client's home, following any specified security measures. Maintain open communication with the pet owner through regular updates, including photos and messages, to provide reassurance and keep them informed about their pet's well-being. Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency supplies, veterinary contacts, and the nearest animal hospital. Have a clear understanding of emergency procedures and contacts provided by the pet owner. Leave the home in the same condition (or better) as you found it. Ensure a smooth transition for the pet upon the owner's return. By combining professionalism, a genuine love for animals, and a commitment to following client instructions, I can create a positive and trusting relationship with both my clients and their pets.
“We have been traveling the country in our motorhome and hired Heather to dog sit our girl twice while visiting Charleston. She was very responsive and Tessa had a great time playing with Heather’s dogs while we toured the city. A big bonus is that Heather is a VERY short distance from James Island County Park campground where we stayed so it was easy-peasy to get there!! We’ll definitely call Heather next time we visit Charleston!”

About: Hiii! Whether it’s your pups dream staycation, drop-in visits with extra loves, or puppy training needs- you’ve found your girl! I am an avid animal lover and have won over every doggie heart and have a special touch with even the craziest of kitties. I was fostering puppies from the Colleton County shelter before I joined Rover, and I can assure you after rehabbing, training and finding those puppies their forever homes; your animals will be a walk in the park! Personally, I have two dogs 9 & 5 and one kitty. My older pup had a back injury when she was 2, so I’ve dealt with all types of special care for pups who need a bit of assistance as well as administering medications, etc. My animals are my children and I would take care of someone else’s babies as my own! 🐾 I work from home and the pups always have access to go outside to the fenced in backyard! I focus on long walks or adventures in the evenings that get my pups worn out leading into the following day while I’m at working. The huge fenced in backyard is a huge bonus for activity throughout the day!! Bare minimum one walk a day, feeding morning and night, my dogs roam the house while I’m gone but they are trained and older- I can follow instructions easily with preferred schedules(:
“Brianna was SO warm and friendly! She immediately crouched down to meet my dog and showed him love. I felt very confident leaving him with her. Drop-off and pick-up was a breeze. I highly recommend her.”

“Christina and her husband took great care of our pup this weekend while we toured wedding venues around the Charleston area. She sent updates and pictures throughout the day and made time to play fetch even though it had rained earlier in the day. Sunnie slept our whole drive back to Charlotte so I can tell that she had a great time. 10/10”

About: As a fellow dog momma, I know how hard it is to leave your fur baby with someone else. You’ll receive daily photo updates, prompt communication, and personalized attention so you can have peace of mind knowing your family member is in loving hands. I am currently on summer break from my school based job so I am home for the majority of days. Once school starts back up, I am a work from home employee so your pup will have unlimited access to our house. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment where your fur baby will feel secure, safe, and relaxed. My backyard is fenced in and my house offers one floor to make moving around easy. About: I've always loved animals ever since I was a child and have had pets ever since. I always felt animals make our lives better and my 3 pets have done nothing but enrich my life. I rescued my cat Drogo when he was a kitten 9 years ago, Link my second cat a year and a half ago, and Kai, my puppy, 6 months ago. All of my animals get along and my puppy is always looking for a play mate! I've done dog and cat sitting for both family and friends for about 10 or so years now when I lived in PA and would love to continue that now that I'm finally settled in Mt. Pleasant! I am in the tech industry which has allowed me to work from home during the week/daytime. I do not work on weekends which will allow me to focus more of my time on your fur babies! I have a decent size 1 bedroom apt but prefer smaller animals as a half a 4 lb puppy and 2 cats. If you would like me to board out of your home I would need to bring my puppy Kai. I take Kai potty every hr and a half 2 hrs and walk him twice a day so your dog would be on my dog's schedule unless told otherwise. My cats are very nice to other animals and so is Kai, again he would love a playmate!
About: My husband and I recently moved back to Charleston from Denver. I’m currently working from home would be happy to take care of your pets. We have one small West named Carlyle who mostly keeps to himself! We also have a giant fluff ball named Murph who is high energy and would love to play! I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, birds and love all animals. I’m comfortable giving medicine if needed. We have a house with a fenced in yard where the dogs can play. Dogs must be okay with small children. I work from home and currently have our two pets that I care for. Apart from running errands will be here with the pups all day. We have a fenced yard where the dogs can play or lounge in the sun. We also have two porches (one screened in) so they can have access to the outdoors that way as well.
“I left my puppy Lila with Hannah for the day and it worked out so great! She sent me lots of updates and photos throughout the day so I knew my pup was in good hands. Lila had so much fun playing with the other dogs I would definitely leave her there again! So convenient, highly recommend!”

“Brittany was very welcoming to our Poppy and showed us around. Her enclosed backyard was perfect and our dog got along with her dog, Lady. We LOVED the photos she sent and didn’t mind when our yorkie made herself comfortable on her sofa. We absolutely would use Brittany again when we come back to Charleston. Thank you again!”

“This was the first time I used Kim & Dylan for doggy daycare for Reba & Willow. We did have a meet & greet prior to our first day of doggy daycare & They were amazing with my dogs. Kim & Dylan were very accommodating & attentive to Reba & Willow. Reba can be a bit nervous and Willow can be a bit over excited and they made both dogs feel comfortable. Both dogs were very happy & tired when I picked them up. I highly recommend Kim & Dylan and I would not hesitate to use them for doggy daycare (again) or boarding.”

I’m very respectful of dogs spaces and won’t bother them when they’re trying to relax that goes for in my home or in yours occasionally I will give treats, but not without parents consent

“Meaghan has helped us with walks for the past four months to give our pup Murphy more exercise while his older sister recovered from surgery. Meaghan is extremely reliable (has never been a minute late), and she has great communication. Murph came home worn out after each walk and was (mostly) well-behaved around his sister while she was on activity restriction, largely thanks to Meaghan. We definitely recommend Meaghan!”

About: Hey there! My name is Katie and I’m a 28 year old living and working on Folly Beach. I love cats and dogs, and all animals! My affinity began growing up around dogs and cats, in which I had a lot of responsibility due to my parents work schedules. Since then, I have always lived with animals in the household, and have lots of experience caring for pets of friends and family. I currently live in a home with my roommate and his dog, Riley- a lab mix, but they are away from home most days/nights. I would love to spend time with some furry companions. My work schedule does afford me a lot of flexibility, so I am willing to dog walk, make house visits, and either host dogs in my home or house sit. I work a walkable distance from home, and am only working part time at the moment. My job allows me flexibility, so I am able to fit my schedule to that of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, so would be taking your dog for walks, or would be willing to come to your home

I have a 90 lb. mutt of my own so big dogs are not a problem. I am available for walks, potty breaks, drop-in visits, field trips, and overnight boarding in my home. I have a flexible schedule, so you pet gets the care and attention it needs! I have a pup of my own who has never met a stranger! He is a well behaved, 4-year-old neutered male that loves all dogs and would enjoy some new friends to pal around with. Dogs are free to roam within the house with us and allowed on the furniture and bed - this is their stay-cation right?! Does your pup love the beach? If so, he or she is in luck! We are less than a mile from Folly and love taking trips there often!! However, if it's too hot or the rules don't permit, we have a wonderful area to take lots of walks to explore!
“Yvette and John saved the day by watching our furry baby last minute, and they always make her feel so comfortable like she’s at home. I don’t know what we’d do without them!”
“Alyssa was amazing!! I was very happy with her great communication and how well she took care of our senior german shepherd pup ! She was super caring and attentive to make sure our dog had the best possible care. I recommend her highly and can’t wait to continue to use her for our future stays.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little kid and have always loved playing with them, walking them, and just loving on them! I’ve got a 3 year old corgi named Gus of my own and he loves to play and go on walks with other dogs. I’m a nurse at MUSC and my schedule differs every week, but I can be flexible when able! I walk my dog multiple times a day and we play in the dog park at my apartment as well as on the beach. They can play together or I can keep my dog completely separate from your pup! My apartment is very dog friendly and there is a big dog park in my complex for them to play. There’s also a smaller fenced in park in case they’re not very social. I’ve also got plenty of safe space around me for long walks with your pup!
About: I have a 6 year old dog and have fostered dozens of pups of all ages and breeds. Fostering has taught me how to adapt to new dogs with different needs and I have plenty of experience with young puppies. I work from home so I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pets. I’m very active and typically take my dog on long walks and adventures around town (beach, parks, walks). I have a very large fenced in yard that’s great for play time! I have an adult male dog that loves other dogs and is regularly exposed to new friends in the house because I foster. Pets are allowed on furniture and beds in my house.
“Lea always takes the best care of Charlotte, and Charlotte always have so much fun with Luna and Cooper. We love here so much and will be returning! Always 100% recommend!”

“Rebecca was a fantastic sitter!! She took such great care of my dog, Kona, while I was out of town. Her dog, Bruce, is very friendly and got along great with Kona! Rebecca sent updates and pictures daily, which I greatly appreciated! She even took the dogs to the beach one day! Highly recommend. I will be using Rebecca for all of my dog sitting needs in the future!”

“We had a great experience as always! My dogs absolutely love Jack and Faith including my more nervous pup who typically has a hard time without me. I receive frequent pictures and updates and great communication - highly recommend!”

“Mackenzie was phenomenal. We have finally found our go-to sitter. We had to leave for 14 days and we have never seen our dog come back so happy. She gave him so much care and love. Consistent updates. Could not recommend a better person to have watch your best friend.”

About: I’m a registered nurse with a lifelong love for dogs, which means safety, reliability, and attention to detail are always my top priorities. I had my own dog for 14 years, so I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior or health, and providing extra patience and comfort. Having moved here from Philly, I truly miss having a dog of my own, so I treat every pet I care for like family. I’m calm, observant, and dependable, and I’m especially comfortable with routines, special instructions, and pets who need a little extra care or reassurance. Whether it’s walks, overnight stays, or drop-ins, your dog will be safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. As a nurse, I work three 12-hour shifts per week, which gives me several full days off where I’m completely available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care.I plan my schedule carefully and only accept bookings I can fully commit to, so your pet will always get consistent attention, exercise, and care. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and communicate clearly so you always know your pet is in good hands. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or yours. As a nurse, I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and trained to notice subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. I carefully follow all routines and instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications, leash preferences, and house rules. In a client’s home, I respect your space and keep your pet’s environment clean, calm, and familiar. In my home, pets are supervised, never left unattended for long periods, and kept in a secure, comfortable setting. I use leashes at all times outdoors unless otherwise instructed and avoid dog parks unless explicitly approved. I prioritize clear communication and will provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.
