“Kathryn was really sweet and welcoming to our two pups! Our chocolate lab played with her golden all day and was worn out which we were thankful for! Will definitely be using her again.”

“Brianna was SO warm and friendly! She immediately crouched down to meet my dog and showed him love. I felt very confident leaving him with her. Drop-off and pick-up was a breeze. I highly recommend her.”

About: Hi - I’m Maggie - your trustworthy pet companion on Rover.com! With a heart devoted to furry friends, I bring honesty, reliability, and a lifetime of love for animals to every pet I care for. As a proud parent to a precious 9-year-old teacup Yorkie – the love of my life – and having grown up surrounded by the joy of three dogs in my home, my passion for animals is not just a job, it's a lifelong commitment. Your pet's happiness is my priority, and with me, they're not just in good hands, but in loving ones. I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. Depending on the size of the animal and the duration, I may be open to overnight stays in my home. Stick to the pet's regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks. Provide ample affection and attention to alleviate any separation anxiety. Prepare and serve meals according to the specified diet. Administer any necessary medications with strict adherence to dosage and schedule. Engage in playtime activities to keep the pet physically and mentally stimulated. Ensure regular walks, considering the pet's energy level and exercise requirements. Grooming: Keep an eye on the pet's overall hygiene and report any concerns to the owner. Keep a vigilant eye on the pet's health and behavior. Report any signs of illness, unusual behavior, or changes in appetite to the owner promptly. Ensure the security of the client's home, following any specified security measures. Maintain open communication with the pet owner through regular updates, including photos and messages, to provide reassurance and keep them informed about their pet's well-being. Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency supplies, veterinary contacts, and the nearest animal hospital. Have a clear understanding of emergency procedures and contacts provided by the pet owner. Leave the home in the same condition (or better) as you found it. Ensure a smooth transition for the pet upon the owner's return. By combining professionalism, a genuine love for animals, and a commitment to following client instructions, I can create a positive and trusting relationship with both my clients and their pets.

My goal is to make both you and your pup feel comfortable, safe, and cared for by providing personalized, one-on-one care. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or cuddles, I’ll make sure they receive the same love and attention they’re used to at home 🩷. You’ll receive daily photo updates, prompt communication, and personalized attention so you can have peace of mind knowing your family member is in loving hands. I am currently on summer break from my school based job so I am home for the majority of days. Once school starts back up, I am a work from home employee so your pup will have unlimited access to our house. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment where your fur baby will feel secure, safe, and relaxed. My backyard is fenced in and my house offers one floor to make moving around easy. I follow each pet’s routine to include feeding, walking, play, medications, and any specific instructions. I believe clear communication is essential so I provide regular photo and video updates to keep you informed and give you peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and strive to create safe and positive experiences for both you and your baby.
About: I've always loved animals ever since I was a child and have had pets ever since. I always felt animals make our lives better and my 3 pets have done nothing but enrich my life. I rescued my cat Drogo when he was a kitten 9 years ago, Link my second cat a year and a half ago, and Kai, my puppy, 6 months ago. All of my animals get along and my puppy is always looking for a play mate! I've done dog and cat sitting for both family and friends for about 10 or so years now when I lived in PA and would love to continue that now that I'm finally settled in Mt. Pleasant! I am in the tech industry which has allowed me to work from home during the week/daytime. I do not work on weekends which will allow me to focus more of my time on your fur babies! I have a decent size 1 bedroom apt but prefer smaller animals as a half a 4 lb puppy and 2 cats. If you would like me to board out of your home I would need to bring my puppy Kai. I take Kai potty every hr and a half 2 hrs and walk him twice a day so your dog would be on my dog's schedule unless told otherwise. My cats are very nice to other animals and so is Kai, again he would love a playmate!
About: Lifelong animal lover with 8 years of hands-on pet care experience caring for cats and dogs of all personalities, ages, and needs. I’ve worked both independently and with pet care companies, giving me strong experience with everything from daily walks and drop-ins to overnight care and anxious pets who need extra patience and attention. I work from home, which allows me to be highly present, attentive, and flexible throughout the day so pets receive lots of companionship, supervision, and love. I truly treat every animal like family and pride myself on creating a calm, safe, and comforting environment while you’re away. My schedule is highly flexible, allowing me to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Because I work from home and manage my own time, I’m able to adapt easily to your pet’s needs—whether that’s early morning visits, midday check-ins, or longer stays for extra companionship and comfort. I prioritize a safe, calm, and trustworthy environment for every pet in my care. I pay close attention to routines, home details, and each animal’s comfort level to ensure they feel secure while you’re away. My goal is to create a steady, stress-free space built on reliability and genuine care.
“Christina was amazing with my puppy Freddie! She is clearly very experienced with dog watching and did an amazing job. Freddie had a great day, and I really appreciated the photo updates. When I brought him home, he was so relaxed and sleepy from a day full of fun and activities! We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Brittany was very welcoming to our Poppy and showed us around. Her enclosed backyard was perfect and our dog got along with her dog, Lady. We LOVED the photos she sent and didn’t mind when our yorkie made herself comfortable on her sofa. We absolutely would use Brittany again when we come back to Charleston. Thank you again!”

“Hannah is fantastic!!! We couldn't have been happier with how Wrigley's stay went. He come home a super happy boy (we can always tell if he's stressed or not, and he certainly wasn't). He got to play with her 4 pups, they had plenty of space to lounge, and outside time. Our dog has some quirky temperament issues at first, and Hannah knew exactly how to handle him until he settled in. Her communication was incredible, sending lots of updates and photos throughout the day. We will definitely be using her again and highly recommend!”

“We have been traveling the country in our motorhome and hired Heather to dog sit our girl twice while visiting Charleston. She was very responsive and Tessa had a great time playing with Heather’s dogs while we toured the city. A big bonus is that Heather is a VERY short distance from James Island County Park campground where we stayed so it was easy-peasy to get there!! We’ll definitely call Heather next time we visit Charleston!”

“This was the first time I used Kim & Dylan for doggy daycare for Reba & Willow. We did have a meet & greet prior to our first day of doggy daycare & They were amazing with my dogs. Kim & Dylan were very accommodating & attentive to Reba & Willow. Reba can be a bit nervous and Willow can be a bit over excited and they made both dogs feel comfortable. Both dogs were very happy & tired when I picked them up. I highly recommend Kim & Dylan and I would not hesitate to use them for doggy daycare (again) or boarding.”

“Emily and Tarek were absolutely wonderful with Zuess. You can tell right away that she genuinely cares about dogs and pays attention to their personalities, not just the routine parts of care. Zuess came home happy, relaxed, and clearly very loved. She kept me updated, made me feel comfortable while I was away, and treated him like he was her own. 5 stars <3”
