About: Hi! I’m Rachel, a lifelong dog lover who hasn’t gone a single day without a dog by my side. Over the last 16 years, I’ve cherished every moment of raising my own dogs and sharing that same love and care with every animal I meet. My pets have helped shape who I am, and my childhood dog even helped me take my first steps. I started dog sitting in my neighborhood when I was 10 years old and haven’t stopped since. One neighbor invited me over every Tuesday to meet her new foster puppy of the week, which is how I found my first puppy, Rocky. And since having one dog wasn’t enough, I adopted Sadie during my senior year of high school. Over the years, friends and family have come to me for help with training their new puppies and caring for their pets while they’re away. I am retired from the medical field and my husband is a retired lawyer. We have 7 grandchildren that live in other towns or states and also have and love animals.
