“I dropped my 2 dogs off with Alaina for the day while visiting downtown Charleston. Alaina was amazing with them and throughout their entire stay. They loved her right away!! She sent me updates and photos, and I could tell my dogs had so much fun at her place. I highly recommend Alaina and will definitely drop my dogs off with her if I’m in the area in the future. Thank you Alaina!!”

“We would definitely use Katherine again. Sully was happy to go back and be with her again the second day. She did an excellent job of taking care of our little man, even when he had an accident in her home, marking his territory from her own two special pups. Katherine kept him in her lap while on a conference meeting and allowed Sully to be a Velcro dog the first day and follow her around. She offered him puzzle toys and he quickly got over his anxiousness and anxiety of being apart from his own family. He loved the outside fenced yard and walks. You can feel at ease leaving your beloved pet with Katherine.”

“Rachel is delightful. Archie enjoyed his time with her and was very calm and relaxed when I picked him up. She was very flexible when I needed to adjust timing.”

About: Hi there! I'm new to Rover but not new to pet sitting :) I'm a huge lover of animals and especially dogs! I grew up with a beagle, chocolate lab and border collie always in the house. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and spoil their pets with love and attention for over 10 years. I'm known for my mix of reliability, warmth and genuine care. I work remotely, so I’m home during the day for walks, playtime, and companionship. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities from energetic puppies to mellow seniors ... I take time to get to know each dog’s unique routine and love finding out their quirks! Will request to do a meet-and-greets before any stay. Working remotely full-time gives me the flexibility to provide regular attention, walks, and companionship during the week days throughout my 9-5 job. (I will ask for parent permission before putting them on zoom to show-off to my coworkers). I'm available for boarding during weekends and can adjust my schedule for breaks, playtime or special routines to ensure both you and your dog feels comfortable. I live in a dog-friendly apartment complex with plenty of nearby walking spots to keep your pup active and stimulated. My second-floor unit is easily accessible via stairs or elevators. I don’t have any other pets in the space, so your dog will get the full attention! I also don’t have any plants that are toxic to dogs (or any plants at all, really - working on my green thumb). I follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, and exercise, ensuring every dog feels comfortable, secure, and loved. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I provide safe, supervised indoor and outdoor play and take dogs out frequently for walks and breaks.
About: Our family dog growing up was a Chocolate Lab named Meeko. My wife and I got our first dog together (a french bulldog named Edward) the day I proposed! And we recently rescued a total love bug named Ringo (see profile pic) so that our kids would grow up with a family dog! Let me help take care of yours too! I am currently working from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can be available for walks throughout the week. Just ask how I can help! We have over half an acre in the middle of Mount Pleasant with a fenced-in backyard, and one very friendly dog named Ringo at home to help me keep yours company! Or I have space to separate them if needed!
“Cannot say enough good things! Leigh Ann was so prompt with responding and helped me out with dog-sitting when I was in a bind. Her and her family are so sweet and took such great care of my fur baby- I know she had so much fun based on how pooped out she is now! Would 100% recommend and use again!”

“Our two boys stayed with Josh and his two daughters for a few hours while we did things in the area that we couldn’t do with the dogs. We appreciate Josh being a little flexible as, due to traffic, our time adjusted a half hour later than we had told him initially. Our dogs had a wonderful time! The girls kept them entertained for a few hours. I believe they must’ve played with our two dogs the whole time, because our dogs were happy and tired when we got them back. We would definitely use Josh again and highly recommend him!”

“Our trip to Charleston was made so much easier due to finding Jennifer on Rover. She took extra goos care of my baby Chole, sendin pictures ti us through out the day. She also changed her schedule due to.my error entering the incorrect dates. I would highly recommend Jennifer for your fur babies when in the Charleston area.”

“Terry and Ken were very accommodating to our last minute request for a dog sitter for a beach day. Harper was very comfortable and we were relaxed knowing she was in good hands. We will definitely reach out next time we are in the area. Thanks again!!”
About: Hi there! I’m Ania, a total dog lover with over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have a sweet and well-trained 4-year-old English Cream Golden Retriever who absolutely loves making new dog friends — gentle, social, and the best playmate around! I can also administer medications and follow any specific routines your dog needs. I work from home, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, love, and supervision throughout the day. Whether you need doggy day care (drop your dog off for the day), overnight boarding in my home, or dog walking around the Snee Farm neighborhood, I’ve got you covered. Your dog will have the best time here! I have a large, fully fenced-in yard that’s perfect for safe playtime, fetch, and sunbathing. The dogs have plenty of space to run around and explore while staying secure. Inside, pups are welcome to make themselves at home — whether that’s snuggling on the couch, lounging near my desk while I work, or napping after playtime.
“Morgan took great care of my mini dachshund last minute for me! He has some separation anxiety and went from crying a bit as I left him to not wanting to come home yet when I came back :) He clearly enjoyed Morgan and his new buddy Mav!”

“Leaving a second review since Kelsey is so great. My pup would rather spend time at her place with her dogs than with me! I've used Kelsey half a dozen times and am happy with the experience.”

About: I’ve had two English Bulldogs for over 15 years, which gave me firsthand experience with everything from puppy energy to senior care. Back home in Philly, I also babysat family friends’ dogs of all kinds — Golden Retrievers, Labs, Pitbulls, and more — so I’m comfortable with all sizes, temperaments, and activity levels. On top of dogs, I’m also the proud “uncle” to my brother and his fiancée’s two kittens, so I know my way around cats just as well. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each pet’s unique needs: Puppies: potty training, leash training, and safe play. Senior pets: slower walks, medication reminders, and gentle care. Bulldogs / special breeds: I understand breed-specific needs like breathing issues and joint sensitivity. Since I work fully remote, I have the flexibility to give pets plenty of attention, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets like family — because that’s exactly how I’ve treated mine for over 15 years. I work fully remote and have a very flexible daily routine, which gives me plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I take a full hour lunch break every afternoon, which is perfect for walks, drop-ins, or playtime. Since I’m home during the day, I can give lots of attention, snuggles, and regular potty breaks for pets in my care. Evenings and weekends are wide open for longer walks, overnight care, or boarding. Whether you need a midday drop-in, daily walks, or someone to keep your pets company overnight, I can adjust my schedule to fit your needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment where they’ll feel at ease. I’m mindful of keeping doors secured, removing hazards, and making sure pets have access to fresh water, safe play areas, and plenty of attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect I’d want for my own. I follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules and walk routines to medication or special care needs. I send regular updates and photos so you feel connected and reassured while you’re away. With over 15 years of experience around dogs (including Bulldogs, Retrievers, Pitbulls, and Labs) and cats, I understand how to adapt to different temperaments and needs. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or requires a little extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for.

“Natasha did a wonderful job with my elderly dog. Pepper can be a ton of work but Natasha exceeded my expectations. I felt very comfortable with Pepper being with Natasha. I can’t say thank you enough.”
About: My husband & I have always had a dog or a cat, or both. We live in Old Village Mt. Pleasant, have a golden retriever & a big fenced back yard on a corner lot with lots is space to run & play or just lay on the deck & watch the world go by. I would welcome a little extra company during the day. I work at home so I can supervise play time and give plenty of love. I have a fenced yard with a tall privacy fence on 2 sides & a 4’ fence on the 3rd side with a view of the side street. . There is room to run or just lay in the shade & watch the world go by.
About: Dogs and cats have always been a part of my life as well as my Husbands. My mom used to tell me I had a soothing way with animals. At age 9 I began helping neighbors with their pets. When older I began helping friends and family with their pets doing house visits or keeping them at my house when they had to be away. I even served as a board member for the Humane Society when I lived in Georgia. My husband grew up with larger dogs his entire life and has never been without a pet. He’s a real softy when it comes to animals! I work 10-4, Mon - Fri. so I have early morning and evenings available to help with pets. My husband helps out during the middle of the day as he is semi-retired. I am available to board in our house, do home visits and/or house sit (house sit on weekends only). I have two dogs and a cat. My fur babies are easy-going and laid-back and get lots of TLC from me and my husband, which we would love to extend to your pet as well! Because we have watched family and friends animals in our home our pets are used to having other dogs around. We live in a townhome development that has lots of dogs. Although the area is not fenced, it is laid out for pet lovers. There are sidewalks to walk around the development and doggy waste stations throughout. My husband and I also enjoy taking our pets to the beach to walk and play, which we would be happy to do with your pet too!
