“Who was going to watch our pup fell through at the very last minute before we had to go out of town. Paul was so quick to respond and confirm caring for Peter. Another added detail is he was in recovery from an eye issue and needed extra love and care as he had medication and a cone. Once we got there, he showed the spaces that Peter was going to hang out in, made sure to fully understand any special instructions that were needed and while we were gone, took such good care of him. He would go out of his way every day to send an update with multiple photos. I never had to ask. Everything was so clean and nice and we were put at ease the whole trip knowing that he was in good hands. 100/10 would recommend, your pet will be taken such good care of!”

I have owned Dachshunds for many years, as well as a big, lovable hound. And, seniors have a special place in my heart. I am available for drop-in visits, walks, or daycare and overnight stays in my home. I live on Goat Island, which is only accessible by boat and has no cars. I pick-up at Isle of Palms marine on my skiff. My property includes a large yard and the island has a 3-mile sand road for walks. I always leash guests' pets and have one friendly Dachshund (Smalls). I'm happy to crate dogs if needed and prioritize keeping your dog's routine with walks, feeding, medication, playtime, and plenty of fun and snuggles.
About: I have a friendly, easy going labradoodle (not high energy) who would love to have a friend around. The yard is fenced in, I work from home, and we typically go on 3-4 walks a day. On a good weather day we’ll drive 5 minutes to IOP and have a beach walk. Your dog would get the exact same care I give mine. They can play all day inside and sleep where they want. Work from home Monday through Friday 9-5 but take plenty of breaks to go outside for walks or play fetch. At night I’m mostly chilling so hopefully your dog likes Netflix! I have a fenced in yard big enough for them to exhaust themselves if they want. If not, the daily walks should cover that. And I’m open to crating them at night or letting them sleep on the couch/bed if they’re comfortable.

She did an excellent job of taking care of our little man, even when he had an accident in her home, marking his territory from her own two special pups. Katherine kept him in her lap while on a conference meeting and allowed Sully to be a Velcro dog the first day and follow her around. She offered him puzzle toys and he quickly got over his anxiousness and anxiety of being apart from his own family. He loved the outside fenced yard and walks. About: Dogs and cats have always been a part of my life as well as my Husbands. My mom used to tell me I had a soothing way with animals. At age 9 I began helping neighbors with their pets. When older I began helping friends and family with their pets doing house visits or keeping them at my house when they had to be away. I even served as a board member for the Humane Society when I lived in Georgia. My husband grew up with larger dogs his entire life and has never been without a pet. He’s a real softy when it comes to animals! I work 10-4, Mon - Fri. so I have early morning and evenings available to help with pets. My husband helps out during the middle of the day as he is semi-retired. I am available to board in our house, do home visits and/or house sit (house sit on weekends only). I have two dogs and a cat. My fur babies are easy-going and laid-back and get lots of TLC from me and my husband, which we would love to extend to your pet as well! Because we have watched family and friends animals in our home our pets are used to having other dogs around. We live in a townhome development that has lots of dogs. Although the area is not fenced, it is laid out for pet lovers. There are sidewalks to walk around the development and doggy waste stations throughout. My husband and I also enjoy taking our pets to the beach to walk and play, which we would be happy to do with your pet too!

I just finished my first semester of veterinary school containing multiple animal handling labs and participating in hundreds of vet clinic shadowing hours. Participated in an Assistance Dog Training Program where I spent at least 10hrs per week working with Service Dogs in-training as well as making sure they are properly groomed and exercised! I am currently a term 1 veterinary student at St. George’s University but I will be in the Charleston area for summers with a completely open schedule allowing me to spend lots of time with your pets! Since moving away from my childhood home and dog, I have been wanting to get back to having dogs in my life! I am working on getting my Real Estate license so I don’t have a solid schedule right now. I know you will be missing your pet while you are away and your pet will be missing you, so I want to make sure they feel loved and feel like they are just on a little vacation! I will send you photos every day and keep you updated and what we do. Dogs and Cats do not scare me and I am very good at the luring game!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life and raised my current pup since he was 6 weeks old. I love dogs and would love to help in any way I can! I work a hybrid schedule but when I am in town I am flexible in my availability. Mornings and early afternoons are typically best for me. About: I have a friendly, easy going labradoodle (not high energy) who would love to have a friend around. The yard is fenced in, I work from home, and we typically go on 3-4 walks a day. On a good weather day we’ll drive 5 minutes to IOP and have a beach walk. Your dog would get the exact same care I give mine. They can play all day inside and sleep where they want. Work from home Monday through Friday 9-5 but take plenty of breaks to go outside for walks or play fetch. At night I’m mostly chilling so hopefully your dog likes Netflix! I have a fenced in yard big enough for them to exhaust themselves if they want. If not, the daily walks should cover that. And I’m open to crating them at night or letting them sleep on the couch/bed if they’re comfortable.
