Anna is the absolute best!! we have a very quirky dog and she knew exactly how to handle him, exactly how to care for him and treated him like gold! She is incredibly kind, has a great spirit and super positive attitude. We loved having Anna watch Wrigley and will always be our first call when we need a sitter! I can't recommend her enough, she's amazing!!!

Here’s a polished review you can use: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Dog Sitter! I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received. From the very beginning, she was professional, reliable, and genuinely caring. My dog was comfortable, happy, and well cared for while we were at dinner, which gave me complete peace of mind. I appreciated the regular updates, photos, and communication throughout the stay. It was clear that my dog received plenty of attention and affection. I returned home to a relaxed and happy dog. I highly recommend Carla to anyone looking for trustworthy, loving care for their furry family member. I will definitely book with her again! 🐾💙

About: My jack, Russell terrier, Chili passed away in August of 2022. The house feels empty without a dog running around, but I’m not quite ready to be a full-time permanent mom just yet. However, I would love to take care of your loved one in My Home, and the house would not feel so empty. I have a fenced in yard. It’s not very big but plenty of room for a small, medium dog. I make your pet my first priority. I used to work from home and that was great because I was able to be with the pups all day and night. I now will be in the office on most week days. I do not work far from home so if needed, I can pop in at lunchtime. I have a fenced yard. Your fur babies are welcome on my furniture and the bed but if you prefer them to be crated, that is fine too.

Paul was incredible and we’ll be definitely using him again, the very next time we need a dog sitter needs in CHS. He was very accommodating, took my doodle on the best walks, and hosted him so well with treats! I can immediately tell if my dog feels comfortable and knew he did without question with Paul! Can’t thank him enough for the positive experience 🥰

About: I have truly never spent a single day of my life without a dog in my home, giving me a lifetime of deep, firsthand canine experience. From raising energetic puppies to comforting gentle seniors, I understand the unique languages, quirks, and emotional needs of dogs. This lifelong devotion means proper pet care is second nature to me; I instinctively know how to read body language, maintain comforting routines, and provide the exact balance of structured play and relaxing downtime. Currently, I am the proud parent of a gentle Cavapoo and a sweet Golden Retriever. Managing our own multi-dog household means your pup will step into an environment that is already highly experienced, structured, and completely optimized for their safety, happiness, and comfort. With my husband working from home and myself as a stay-at-home mom, our family is always around to provide constant love and supervision. Our daily routine completely revolves around the dogs. Your pup will seamlessly join our two friendly dogs for a day filled with continuous companionship. Between regular potty breaks, cozy indoor cuddle time, and endless, safe playtime in our fully fenced backyard, your dog will never be lonely and will be treated just like one of our own. Your pup’s safety and your peace of mind are my absolute top priorities. Our home is never empty, ensuring your dog will enjoy constant, 24/7 supervision and companionship. Our secure, fully fenced backyard sits in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, offering a peaceful environment free from stressful traffic or noise. We maintain a calm, highly organized household specifically tailored to the comfort of our own Cavapoo and Golden Retriever. We treat every guest dog with the exact same vigilance and love as our own, strictly following your specific feeding schedules, routine preferences, and house rules so you can relax knowing they are in the safest possible hands.

We are new puppy parents and she was very informal on any questions we had regarding potty training and puppy behavior. We will absolutely continue to book with Jasmine moving forward 😊

About: Hi! I'm Rachel, a recent College of Charleston graduate with a B.A. in psychology. I have spent the last 16 years raising and caring for dogs. Animals have always been a significant part of my life, as my family dog even helped me take my first steps. I started dog sitting in my neighborhood when I was 10 years old and haven't stopped since. One neighbor invited me over every Tuesday to meet her new foster puppy of the week, which is how I adopted my first puppy, Rocky. During my senior year of high school, I got my second dog, Sadie, who has taught me as much as I have taught her. My experience extends beyond my pets, as friends and family come to me for help with training their new puppies and to take care of their pets while they are away. Whether you have a playful puppy or a sweet senior, I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages. If you're looking for a sitter who truly understands dogs and will love your pet as if they were my own, I’d love to help! I am currently looking for job opportunities so my schedule is wide open. Let me know what works best for you and your pet, and I will be happy to accommodate your needs. I live in a two-bedroom condo with my 9y/o dog Sadie, who loves having new friends around. I also have a neighborhood dog park just a short walk away, where I take her to run around and get her energy out. We also have lots of great walking paths and parks around us to explore. Whether your dog stays with me or I care for them in your home, I can follow your routines and will prioritize their safety and comfort above all else.

About: • Lifetime Dog Lover: I’ve had dogs for years and cared for many family dogs, so I understand their needs and quirks. • Professional Experience: I worked at a dog kennel where I cared for all kinds of breeds, and I loved every single part of it. • Compassionate Care: I’m patient, kind, and make sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and loved. • Dedicated Attention: As a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, I can truly focus on your dog’s care and happiness. As a stay-at-home mom with a very flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to devote to caring for pets. I’m available throughout the day and week, which allows me to give consistent attention and love to the animals I watch. I do have a friendly, well-trained dog in my home who is very social and used to dogs staying with us. Safety is my top priority, and I always supervise introductions and interactions carefully. If needed, dogs can also be kept separated to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I make sure their routines stay as consistent and comfortable as possible. In my home, I provide a safe, loving environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and care. In a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions closely from feeding schedules to walks, playtime, and cuddles so their pets feel secure and cared for in their familiar space. My goal is always to treat every pet like family and make them feel happy, safe, and loved.

This varies from soft chewers (plushie and stuffed animals) or super chewers (rough dog chew toys) • Throughout the day at various times I provide enrichment items for your puppy! • A frozen peanut butter lick mat is given, as well as frozen chicken/beef broth with multiple treats inside is also offered:) • Questions/Concerns: Is your dog protective over toys? If so how do they react (growling, biting?) If you don’t want your dog getting extra treats (peanut butter/frozen treats,) please let me know! Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Yellow House Landing on Rover is $33.3 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

As of August 2026, there are 742 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Yellow House Landing. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Yellow House Landing commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 742 sitters in Yellow House Landing, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
