About: I've had dogs in my life since I was a a child. I cared for my own dog when I turned 19. I had kida since she was a puppy and introduced her to pepper, my next dog, who is a rescue, 8 years later. Kida has now passed so its just me, pepper and her friend/ my roommates dog who I help care for when needed. I take them on walks frequently and pick up after them. I looked after and aided kida in potty training and basic training commands all they way to in her elder years. Always avaliable when you need me, even last minute and will always put all me effort in caring for your pet as if they were my own I am happy to accommodate for you pet any way I can, with adequate walks and feeding times when necessary, can provide basic medical treatment as need with either mixing it in food or oral syringe. Unfortunately my house is off limits to additional pets due to overcrowding. Happy to provide enrichment to you pet with plenty of walks and play time. Love tug of war and fetch, I can easily play for an hour straight with them, can be patient with more timid breeds and always try to make them as comfortable as possible. Will respect any and all boundaries set by the pet parent
About: My jack, Russell terrier, Chili passed away in August of 2022. The house feels empty without a dog running around, but I’m not quite ready to be a full-time permanent mom just yet. However, I would love to take care of your loved one in My Home, and the house would not feel so empty. I have a fenced in yard. It’s not very big but plenty of room for a small, medium dog. I make your pet my first priority. I used to work from home and that was great because I was able to be with the pups all day and night. I now will be in the office on most week days. I do not work far from home so if needed, I can pop in at lunchtime. I have a fenced yard. Your fur babies are welcome on my furniture and the bed but if you prefer them to be crated, that is fine too.
“Jess took great care of my Dachshund while I was away. She was responsive, kept me updated with photos, and was always easy to reach. I appreciated how attentive she was to both my dog and my home. Knowing everything was being taken care of made traveling much less stressful. I’d definitely recommend Jess to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.”

About: I bring a calm, caring, and attentive approach to pet care, with years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages and needs. What sets me apart from other sitters is my ability to quickly build trust with pets and tailor my care to their individual personalities and routines. I have experience with everything from high-energy puppies who need consistency and training, to senior pets who require gentle handling, medication administration, and a little extra patience. I'm also comfortable with special needs animals and understand how important it is to follow specific care instructions closely. Whether it's a playful walk, a relaxing cuddle, or attentive feeding and hygiene routines, I treat every pet as if they were my own. making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I plan my schedule with flexibility so I can provide consistent, reliable care—whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening feedings and playtime. I make sure to give each pet the time and attention they deserve, without feeling rushed. Whether you're looking for regular visits during the week or occasional weekend help, I’m happy to work with your schedule to meet your pet’s needs. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, behavior, and any special needs to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow your instructions closely—keeping your pet's environment familiar, secure, and consistent. I make sure doors, gates, and fences are properly secured and always keep a close eye during walks or outdoor time. If caring for pets in my own home, I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to relax and play. I limit the number of pets I take at once to ensure each one gets personalized attention and care. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's hands—and I’m committed to earning that trust by communicating openly, sending regular updates, and treating your pet like family.
About: I know that finding someone to care for your dog is nerve-racking and the last thing you need when traveling or having a long day at work is to worry if your dog is safe and happy. Whether you need doggy day care, boarding, or someone to drop by and walk, play with, and feed your pup, you can be assured that your dog will get the VIP treatment and all the attention they deserve! I am a professor with a very flexible schedule. I am only required to be on campus for a couple hours at a time, so I am able to stay home with the pups for most of the day and provide frequent walks, play, and enrichment. I have been pet sitting for 15+ years, and I've always had dogs. My family has had standard poodles since before I was born, and now I have my own 6-year-old brown poodle, Marrón, who loves having dog friends over to visit. Dogs continuously amaze me with their intelligence and affection, and I aim to return all of the love they give to us. Dogs continue to *train me* on how to respect and work with pups to help them be happy and well-adjusted. I understand that each dog is a unique individual, and I love learning the quirks and needs of each dog. I have studied dog behavior and training and use science-based positive reinforcement methods. My goal is to help dogs and humans work as a team. I am comfortable with a wide range of dogs, from puppy to full-grown, small to large, and all breeds. While pet sitting or dog walking, I can help give your dogs the socialization and exercise they need, making sure they work their brains as well as their bodies. I am also happy to support any obedience and habit training that you are working on. I know that a well-exercised puppy or dog is a happy puppy/dog, and so I'm here to help you and your dog be as happy as possible together All potential clients must set up a meet and greet to ensure that my dog, Marrón, and your pooch get along. He is very social, so dogs who do not get along with other dogs would not be a good match. He does well with most dogs, and even if your dog doesn't love to play, he is ok just co-existing. I do separate the dogs periodically throughout the day for downtime and feeding, but I want to ensure that all dogs are comfortable and happy co-existing in the home together. (Please note: My doggie daycare price is for a standard 8-hour workday. For half days or extended hours longer than 8 hours, we will adjust the price accordingly. As a professor, I have a fairly flexible schedule, so I can adjust my schedule around the dogs in my care. I am only required to be on campus for a couple of hours at a time, so I am able to stay home with the pups for most of the day and provide frequent walks, play, and enrichment. While I am home most of the day, I do sometimes leave for a couple of hours, so your dog needs to be comfortable being left alone for brief periods of time, whether in the house or in a crate. My typical schedule with my standard poodle is 6-8am - Long Morning Walk or playing at local dog park. Then breakfast 8am-Midday - Downtime (with pee or play breaks as needed for puppies, seniors, or special needs) Midday - Short walk and play break Afternoon - Downtime (with pee or play breaks as needed for puppies, seniors, or special needs) ~ 4-7pm Long walk and outside play (weather permitting). If it's too hot, then enrichment games and play inside after all dogs have relieved themselves. Dinner Evening chill time and cuddle. Last potty break before bedtime. Your dog will be treated like a member of my family. I do my best to help dogs feel comfortable and like to know what rules and routines they are used to at home, so I can provide that here. I will provide the appropriate walks, exercise, and activities for your pup. Marrón is very active, so we go on at least 2 long walks a day and to the dog park in our complex, in addition to more frequent potty breaks. In addition to the dog park in my complex, I live down the street from a larger dog park, and in a very walkable neighborhood. If your dog is not good with dog parks, we will go on walks and find other ways to get them safe exercise and enrichment! I live in a 2br, 2-story apartment, which is set up for maximum dog fun and safety. I can gate off each room to give the dogs their own space, and I tend to do so periodically during the day to give them breaks from playing and to let them eat and nap in peace. I do not take more than 2 dogs at a time, and only when I know that they will get along. So your dog will get lots of attention. If your dog is crate-trained, I can set your crate up in my house, in my bedroom or in my living room, based on your preference. I also have two crates that I can set up for your dog if they are comfortable in crates other than their own.
“Katelyn is a wonderful sitter! She did an amazing job taking care of our two dogs. She kept to their schedule, and made sure they got plenty of exercise, enrichment and cuddles--the pups had a great time and were relaxed and happy when we returned. Katelyn also sent lots of updates and pictures. We'll definitely book her again, and would highly recommend her!”

“Summer was so amazing, would highly recommend booking her for any pet care! My dog Henry absolutely loved her and she went above and beyond making sure he had a fun time while I was away with long walks, taking him to the beach, snuggling on the couch, etc. I was sent lots of updates and pictures while I was away so I felt very confident he was in great hands. Everything was clean and tidy when I came back and I would 110% book with Summer again!”

“Erika went over and beyond for me and my baby. She was extremely attentive, alerted me to a rash that turns badly really fast and now he is on antibiotics. Very thorough, lots of updates and pictures. Could not have had a better person take care of your babies.”

Yellow House Landing pet parents share their Rover experiences
Anna was absolutely incredible. She cared for my senior dog and kitten for a long weekend and did everything and more I could have hoped for. Ellie (my dog) needs extra care and attention in her old age and Anna went above and beyond to give her everything she needed, and was very patient. She shared daily doses of pictures, communicated well, and took incredible care of my home while she was here. Will be using Anna again whenever I need someone to love on my pets when I’m out of town!
Katrina was absolutely amazing! She was very communicative throughout the entire stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. I could tell right away that my dogs were extremely comfortable around her, and it meant a lot that she took the time to stop by beforehand to meet them. She followed all of my instructions perfectly and went above and beyond by sending regular updates and pictures. It’s not easy finding someone you truly trust with your pets, but I felt completely confident they were in great hands with Katrina. I would 100% use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!
Courtney was exceptional with our four dogs, Gubbers, Walter, Hazel, and Mercy. She has a rare blend of strength and softness, and we felt it in every part of her care. She was conscientious, dependable, and true to her word. She gave our dogs so much love and attention, with plenty of play, cuddles, and thoughtful care, and she also handled a minor medical issue with confidence and compassion. She communicated with us regularly, sending pictures and updates that gave us enormous peace of mind and made being away from them so much easier. When we came home, our dogs were happy, settled, and clearly well loved, and our home was in perfect order. We truly could not have asked for a better sitter, and we will absolutely have her back. Thank you, Courtney!

We are so happy to of found Victoria available to stay at our home and watch our dog over a holiday stretch of time. Her professionalism from coordinating a meet and greet to sending us texts and photos during her stay was 5 star. We also appreciated that the house was spic and span when we got home! We are looking forward to having her stay again in the future.

Mikayla is so kind and friendly. She was great company for our pups all weekend and made sure to give them lots of outdoor time. She also went above and beyond in caring for our home as if it was her own. We even came home to clean dishes, counters, and linens which was unexpected, but such a sweet surprise after traveling. :)
