I’m a retired stay at home mom with three sons, two still living at home when on breaks from college. This means I have no other responsibilities that might interfere with scheduling or caring for your pets like school or a work from home job.

I am a detail oriented, overly organized person who would treat your home like my own and follow any guidelines set by you in caring for your pet. I do use Zuks peanut butter and oats training treats with dogs, so please let me know if yours has any allergies or GI issues. Some of you might be new to Rover and since every sitter/walker is different, below is a simplified explanation of how I work the different options available. I’m always happy to answer any questions and work with you to tailor visits to meet your expectations and needs. House sitting- I do 15-30 minute drop ins and/or walks no longer than every 3-4 hours, and like to be in the house for the evening by 6pm latest. Occasionally, I might have evening “walks”, but it isn’t common. Most dogs are early risers and after eating breakfast we do a morning walk (typically 30 minutes) before I leave your home returning again every 3-4 hours for short walks throughout the day. In the Rover app you will receive pictures of your pet, if you so choose. Drop ins- 30 or 60 minutes in length and entail whatever you and/or your pet desires. This includes a walk, play, or just snuggles. These are priced the same as walks and usually more for cats. The Rover app will alert you when I arrive and begin the service. At the end, you will receive a “card” in the app that will include service start and end time along with pictures of your pet and any “notes”. Walks- These are 30 or 60 minutes in length, your choice. I walk your dog and/or if you have a neighborhood park and you allow it I will take them there to play leash. I always carry a ball with me in the event we are allowed to go to your dog park. The Rover app will alert you when the walk starts and it tracks the walk and where we go. At the end you will receive a “card” with distance walked and time, sometimes “notes”, plus pictures of your pet!

Information Anna S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know as much as possible about your pet, so that they can have a fun and stress free time. Every pet is different, just like people, so it’s important for me to know your pets likes and dislikes.
A typical day
Playing fetch, frisbee, slow walks, energetic runs. All are available and I’m game! All at your dogs pace and preferences. I love walking the dogs at their pace as it’s their “time”. So if they want to backtrack and check that spot again, sounds good to me! lol If your senior just wants a potty break and couch buddy for his favorite cartoons, we can do that also!

Pet care experience
In my 50+ years I have never not had at least one dog. From Doberman to Cocker Spaniel, I’ve had large and toy breeds. Currently I have a 6 year old female GSD, a 1 year old female Pit Bull mix, and a 10 year old female Maltese. I’ve dealt with newborn puppies, heat cycles, senior issues like reactive dogs, incontinence, resource guarding, anxiety, knee replacements, mobility issues, etc. I have experience caring for dogs and puppies post surgical procedures like knee replacement and neuter/spay, as well as potty training puppies. I also have extensive experience in administering medications. As a dog mom I know how difficult it can be to find reliable and trustworthy caretakers for our four legged babies when we can’t be there with them. I know it can also be stressful trusting someone in your home. I figured this would be a good use of my new free time with my sons away at college. Who doesn’t want to play with dogs all day?!

Reviews

Anna has been helping us with our two dogs for a couple months now. Super reliable, great communication, and flexible. Above all, she takes great care of our two girls and provides fun updates! Really enjoy working with her.

I recently broke my foot and Anna has been a wonderful help walking my dog. She is flexible and lovely and my dog loves her!
Anna was so wonderful! This was my first time using Rover and after moving to a new city I needed someone I felt I could trust. She made me feel like I didn’t have to worry at all and that my baby was in good hands! I loved her photos and messages she left throughout her visits to check on him and it was so comforting. Absolutely will be using her again.

Anna is the best dog sitter. She took care of my dogs as if they were her own. I’ve got two labs who like walks, playing ball, lots of love, and of course their meals and treats :) She did all of that and more. I will definitely hire her again to take care of my girls. ❤️🐾
