About: Welcome to the Hotel Charleston! Our passion is taking care of dogs and we devote ourselves to providing a safe environment for your four-legged best friend filled with exercise, fun and love. We have 50 years of experience with dogs as well as extensive training in dog walking. Having rehabilitated several dogs over the past 10+ years provides us with the knowledge to relate to all kinds of canine friends: older dogs, puppies… and everything in between. Any special instructions, requests or needs for your pet, will be supported with compassion and competence in order to ensure a first-class time away from you for your four-legged family member. We provide updates and photos throughout your stay away from your pup! Your dogs schedule is our schedule! We will follow your lead and will ask questions while you are away if needed. We do not want your best friend to feel like they have to follow “our schedule”. When you come home we want them to be like they never left you and return to there normal way of life. We hope to continue whatever you do at homei. That is why it’s great through the ROVER app we are able to have an open line of communication throughout their stay with us! For the most part we will be fully devoted to the care of your fur baby while they are with us. We are sensitive to their needs. We will do whatever you would like for us to do whether it be walk your pet on a leash or have playtime outside in the backyard or the beach!

About: I have always been with dogs as far as I can remember. No matter the size I absolutely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure that they are comfortable and happy. I work full-time as active duty Air Force. Monday through Friday I usually have time after 3 PM but on the weekends Saturday and Sunday I am completely available regardless of what time.. My apartment is very spacious. I will always keep an eye on the dog and ensure that they are taken care of as long as they are under my supervision. If they are in my apartment, I do have an available kennel for them in case they need an area to feel safe. I will always follow the dogs routine if provided, such as meal times, break times, and when they need to be walked.

About: I’ve spent 17–18 years caring for animals of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. My current dog, a golden retriever, has been with me since he was 6 weeks old. From the very first day he came home, we began training, and together we’ve mastered crate training, obedience, and a lot of fun tricks! Over the years, I’ve also fostered several puppies, helping each one start off with a solid training foundation before finding their forever homes. I’ve also completed a Puppy Essentials/Obedience class and earned a certificate, so I’m confident working with puppies on early training and good manners. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’m patient, consistent, and love giving dogs the guidance and attention they need. I also have extensive experience with senior dogs. My previous dog lived to 16 and had multiple health needs, so I’m very comfortable managing daily medications, monitoring health changes, and adjusting care routines as needed. My golden retriever has severe allergies, which has given me years of practice keeping up with ongoing health needs as well as giving ear, eye, and other allergy medications. I have plenty of cat care experience as well. I grew up with a cat who lived to 16. I’ve pet-sat many cats over the years, fostered two newborn kittens and an adult cat, and I have a silly orange cat of my own now. I’m used to daily care, reading their cues, and giving medications when needed. At my home, pets have a fully fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor time, play, and relaxation. Every animal in my care is treated like family — with love, attention, and plenty of cuddles and belly rubs along the way! I’m home all day and have a flexible routine, so I’m able to follow any feeding, medication, or potty schedule your pet needs. My own dog eats breakfast around 8–9 AM, gets his allergy medication afterward, and has dinner at 6:30 PM, so I’m used to keeping consistent schedules. I spend time playing with my dog inside and in the backyard, and we love spending our days just hanging out. I’m sure your dog would love that too! My home is clean, pet-friendly, and fully set up for animals since I have both a dog and a cat. My golden retriever is extremely friendly and grew up with another dog in the home, so he’s used to having a companion around. He’s also fully crate trained, and I have an additional XL crate available if your dog needs or prefers one. Dogs staying with me will have a comfortable, safe environment and plenty of company throughout the day. Additionally, I have years of experience caring for pets in clients’ homes and always follow every instruction exactly as given. I’m respectful of your space and make sure your home stays just the way you left it. Your pets will get attentive care, consistency, and comfort in their own familiar environment.

About: My jack, Russell terrier, Chili passed away in August of 2022. The house feels empty without a dog running around, but I’m not quite ready to be a full-time permanent mom just yet. However, I would love to take care of your loved one in My Home, and the house would not feel so empty. I have a fenced in yard. It’s not very big but plenty of room for a small, medium dog. I make your pet my first priority. I used to work from home and that was great because I was able to be with the pups all day and night. I now will be in the office on most week days. I do not work far from home so if needed, I can pop in at lunchtime. I have a fenced yard. Your fur babies are welcome on my furniture and the bed but if you prefer them to be crated, that is fine too.
